Lesson #1: Introduction to Herbology Professor Virohsa opened up the locked door. Grinning slightly, she opened the door widely and walked inside. The inside of the classroom, smelled very much like her own office. It felt cozy, warm, and relaxing. This specific Classroom was titled, "Greenhouse #3" in golden letters. There were long white tables, similar yet not as long as the Great Hall's tables, that adorned its wonderful wooden floor. As Professor Virohsa took her place in the middle of the room, the tray that had been following her, took its place in a corner. Professor Virohsa waited for the children to appear as she stood on her steps, which gave her a good observatory setting. |
Mithos walked in with a smile in his face. "Hello Professor." He said and bowed, he was getting used to bow to people by now and it wasn't a horrible thing. He found the closest seat to the Professor's desk and sat down. |
Alex walked in the classroom and smiled at the professor. 'Hello Professor Virohsa, I'm looking forward to your lesson,' she said. She took a seat at one of the tables and waited quietley for the class to begin. |
Raven walked into the classroom and smiled at Professor Virosha. She took a seat near the front of the class and pulled out her wand, Herbology Book and parchment. She sat quietly waiting for class to begin. |
Meghan walked in and spotted Mithos. She gave him a wave and took a seat in the middle. |
Professor Virohsa nodded as both children greeted her. She looked at them as she wondered if they would be civilized enough to learn the material that would save their lives one day. Professor Virohsa looked at the door and waited for more children to come. "We shall wait a few minutes, before we start class", she explained. As she waited, she took out her wand and waved it. Suddenly, two blackboards appeared out of nowhere. They were positioned high up, so all the children could see them clearly. |
Erica walked in and smiled to at Professor Virohsa before taking a seat and waiting for the class to begin. |
Llewellyn walked into class and sat down at one of the stations, waiting for class to beign. He began absentmindedly looking around the greenhouse at all the odd plants. |
Raven turned her head towards teh blackboards and watched as nothing apeared on them. She sighed and turned from student to student and from board to board. She managed to find a quill in her bag and dipped it into an ink holder. She wrote her name on the parchment and turned back towards the Professor. |
Rosa walked in smiling. 'hello, professor!' she said, while sitting down behind one of the tables. 'those books you borrowed me are great!' she looked around the greenhouse curiously and at the still empty blackboards, wondering what this class'd be about |
Sarah walked into the greenhouse and sat down at one of the tables, waiting for the class to begin. |
Astoria walked into Herbology with a smile on her face. She found a seat and sat down. She took out a quill and some parchment to take notes during class. |
Ally walked into class and took out her parchment and quills. She sat patiently waiting for class to start. |
Professor Virohsa nodded as all the children filled their spots. "Very well, we shall start!", she gave a slight grin. "First of all, I expect all you have read the rules of this class. Second, I do not know all of you. So please state your name, house, and year. After you have done so, please grab one of the plants that are placed on top of the tray that is floating by the right corner. Then sit down, and we shall begin the lesson", she said coldly. |
Raven stood up and exclaimed with a grin. "My name is Raven Shearer, I am a Ravenclaw Sixth year." She walked towards the front of the classroom and grabbed a plant off the tray. Raven went back to hear seat and sat down quickly letting others speak. |
Alex slowly stood up and smiled.'Well, my name is Alex and I am a second year Slytherin student.' After that, she grabbed a plant and went to sit back down. |
Rosa stood up. 'my name's Rosa and I'm a second year ravenclaw' she said. after that she walked to the tray and grabbed a plant. she looked at it while walking back to her seat and sat down. |
"I'm Sarah, Hufflepuff fourth year." Sarah said standing up and walking to the front of the class to collect a plant. She picked one up and returned to her seat. |
Llewellyn raised his hand, then stated, "My name's Llewellyn Daniels. I'm a third year Hufflepuff." He stood up and walked to the tray, carefully carrying a plant back to his station. |
Erica stood up to address the professor. "Erica Arbon, second year Hufflepuff." She went up to trays and grabbed a plant before heading back to her seat. |
"My name is Mithos Yggdrasill, Professor." Professor Virohsa already knew him but he still "I am a second year and I am a Ravenclaw." He said and waited for a while. He stood up and walked to the back of the class and grabbed a plant off the tray and went back to his seat. He smiled once again at the Professor. |
Astoria stood up and smiled. "My name is Astoria Fletcher, fourth year Slytherin." She then walked over and got a plant as the professor had instructed. She walked back to her seat and sat down. |
Andra raised her hand." I'm Andra, well Andromeda actually but just call me Andra, i'm in Gryffindor and i'm a first year." she smiled to the professor. She stood up and walked towards the trays and grabbed a plant before heading back to her table. |
Professor Virohsa nodded. As she waved her wand, a picture of the plant and its parts appeared on the blackboard. "Thanks to Sarah and Xavier, we can now study these plants more closely. Does anyone know what plant this is?", she asked casually. Quote:

Meghan said her name. "I am Meghan Hollier and a fourth year Ravenclaw." After she got her plant she sat down and shook her head indicating she did not know the plant name. |
