| | DADA Lesson 3 Perry tossed a pile of twigs onto his desk before he straightened them meticulously. Finally, he was settled enough with the look of the pile to charm the door open. Taking a seat behind the desk, he waited for the students to enter the room. |

A little threat? Nadia blinked again. If that was what it was, wasn't it a bit of a useless threat? And, mind, isn't there laws against pressuring a student, and with threats? Nadia shook her head as soon as those words came out. She turned around a bit at hearing this other person respond, as if clicking in her brain (and to relief her a bit that she had responded correctly).
Meanwhile, a music was playing on her head of a muggle series. She blinked a couple more times, trying to push it away.

Nadia blinked again, at the question, though this time with much less emphasis in suprise and an expression more tending to dissappointed.
She raised her hand, "If you are not keeping it with you, in a cupboard behind closed doors or a drawer, in high places like stands, the most isolated closed to enviroment the better. To fight enviroment humidity you could make it a metal support." Why was she starting to feel like a muggle? "Muggles have devises for this, called Air Conditioners, otherwise known as Dehumidifiers. Wonders if these would help the enviroment, the wand could be placed near it."
"If you are carrying it with you it grows complicate because of your body heat. Therefore, inside a box in your pocket, and one especially designed to magically maintain the wand in a reasonable enviroment, could be it."
She lowered her hand, her tone somewhat apathic.

| "Yes... I like your emphasis on keeping it clean and dry, Nadia. Ganymede, the problem with sticking it in your sleeve is that you might sweat and get your germs and perspiration all over it. That is NOT good for a wand. Terry... you must also be careful of the state of your robes. Make sure your uniforms are pressed and cleaned, and keeping a wand there should be fine temporarily. Your best bet is probably to keep it in a box or heavy draw-string bag when it is on your person. When you are not carrying it, where do you tend to keep your wand?" |

Ah, that was a tricky question. Well, she never actually left her room without her wand. Even at home, it was just part of her daily activity to secure it on her robes pocket.
Nadia raised her hand again, "Only time when I'm not carrying it with me is when I sleep," in fear I would roll over and split it in half, "and only then I place it in my nightstand, either over it or in the drawer." And. That's it.

| "Oh, that's an excellent suggestion, Terry. I like that. I suggest you all follow Terry's lead and procur such a box. Nadia, there is no reason to have your wand with you so consistently. I suggest you stop being so paranoid." He smiled and patted her on the head. |

Nadia wasn't expecting to be suddenly petted. She KNEW it wasn't a good day to come out without a hat. Blast it. And rather forceful pet it was, it messed a bit with her hair and felt more like a hit over the head. Well, she wouldn't be impossible since it looked more like a reprimand, being so paranoid. She? Ha. She could think of paranoid people...
"Just getting used to for when I have to train in Auror's school," she responded simply.

| Double Agent Stamps! Use soap and water, a brush is good particularly when it comes to cleaning under the fingernails, lather the soap fully while washing, be sure every area of your hands is soaped up properly, and rinse your hand under running water for about five minutes to make sure the soap has been thoroughly rinsed off. |

If she had gotten enough self streght, she would have blinked again. But in fact, Nadia only could stare, and had to shake herself to stop staring before she could actually register what to say. She finally raised her hand though somewhat shily.
"Could them be; remove any rings or other jewelry, use warm water and wet your hands thoroughly, use soap to scrub your hands, between your fingers, wrists, and forearms, then dry hands and close the faucet with a paper towel and try not touching a dirty surfice?"

| Perry nodded. "Excellent, children... between the lot of you, you were able to ascertain what was necessary to properly wash your hands. First, you must turn on running water and use plenty of soap. Second, we lather our hands, being sure to get between fingers and up to the wrists. Next, you rinse your hands well with the running water. Warmer water is better. Then, you'll dry your hands fully using a clean towel. And finally, you will turn off the water with the towel so as not to recontaminate your hands. I'll expect you all to go about these steps in the future. Well? Write it down."
"Now... if your wand DOES happen to get dirty... what is the best method of cleaning it?" |

| Double Agent Stamps! "The best way to clean it is probably to use a soft clean cloth and a wand cleaning solution. After the wand has been thoroughly covered with the solution, you should use another clean, dry cloth to remove the cleaning solution. Then you should buff you wand using a dry chamey cloth." |

"Err," Nadia pondered, but borrowing another wand to perform Scourgify, or complicatedly perform the spell to a mirror didn't look like t he things this guy would like as answer. So...
"There's kits for cleaning brooms and wands both, with instructions as to how to do it the proper way," she said raising her hand. "And with tools, magical, to aid the cleaning better. Like a cloth that naver gets dirty, to polish the wood. And. You might awnt to start with the tip downer, and never point the wand at yourself."

| "Yes... I like the suggestions I'm hearing, although perhaps a more detailed answer would be more sufficient," he fixed Ganymede with a look. "Regardless, it is important to realize that unknown potions don't always work the same way when infused with magic. I would recommend that you not blindly use a cleaning potion on a wand unless it is specifically specified for that purpose. More Muggle forms of cleaning might be a safer for Wizards and Witches of your inexperience."
"I'm prepared to move on, but first... anyone need a drink of water? I know we've been talking a lot. Feel free to help yourself." He pointed to a pitcher and stack of glasses that sat near the pile of sticks on his desk. They had been neatly obscured by the sticks until he pushed the stack to the side. |

| Double Agent Stamps! Terry decides a glass of water might be nice. Her mouth is rather dry from all the talking. She get up and pours herself a glass, drinks it down, and returns to her seat. Terry is also glad to know there is some water near by just in case Professor Perry decides to perform an incendio charm on those twigs. |
