"That's an interesting theory, Annie, but you never know when a niffler might sneak up on you and attack. Can you live your life cavity and jewelry free?" He shook his head. "Better just to be safe. Now... any more interruptions?"
He waved his wand and flicked it at the niffler, shouting "Perrumpo niffler!" The small black creature seemed to swell up a bit, but otherwise it didn't move. "Hmmm..."

Annie was a little shocked at the answer. She looked down at her fingers and her neck. She doesn't wear jewelry, and she's never had a filling. *I guess you can run across those few people who can every once in a while.* She the thought to herself, and watched as the Niffler started to swell, and took notes.

Erica watched Perry perform his little charm and only just managed to hold back a giggle. It was almost too much to witness. The professor teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts couldn't do a "little spell," as he himself had put it. She put her head down and pretended to take serious notes while calming herself down.

Llewellyn quirked an eyebrow wondering if that was the spell's intended effect. He was beginning to wonder just how capable Professor Perry really was. Looking to his side, he noticed Erica holding back a giggle, and decided not to write down the previous spell cast. In all likelihood it was useless.

Perry frowned and tapped the cage with his wand. The niffler snuffled but didn't move and he tapped the cage again. "I'm not sure why he didn't move. I've done this spell a million times before and..." He grunted and performed the spell again. The niffler seemed to get even bigger and Perry turned to the class.
"Well, I honestly don't know what to tell you. Perhaps this niffler is immune to..." He was interrupted by a bang from behind him where the niffler had exploded. Bits of black fur and pieces of smoking niffler flew around the room. "Oh." | |

Shante moved her quil to the edge of her paper and began to doodle. Along the left side she wrote "Déesse de l'amour, I'm Shante." She'd added the last part incase the girl she'd been talking to noticed it. She'd never liked talking to people who's names she didn't know.
A loud explosion caused her to look up from her notes. The niffler was gone, and a piece of black fur landed in front of her. Her face fell and she looked a little is if she may cry. She raised her eyes to the prefessor in horror.
"You killed it?" She squeeked.

Llewellyn winced, as well as nearly threw up as one of the small nifflerites landed on his desk. Not thinking, Llew jumped out of his seat and into the one next to him. "Holy mother of!!" He yelled in surprise.
And Lainey was put into the expert hands of this 'professional'?!! He thought to himself, quickly followed by the image of Professor Lainey exploding in a similar fashion.

Erica had controlled herself just enough to stop the giggling when she looked up and got a face full of niffler. She screamed and pulled it off of her face and also noticed that she had bits of niffler in her hair and on her robes as well. She sat at the desk fuming, clearly not happy with her new look.

Kylie ducked her head at the explosion, "Holy..." she mumbled. What in the world had just happened? Peaking back up at the front of the class she saw bits of what used to be a niffler landing all around her. A piece landed beside her arm, causing her to pull her arm back quickly, before curiously poking the piece with her quill.

But a bang caused her to stop short. Jenna's eyes grew wide. "Oh my...that's HORRIBLE!" her mouth gaped open at the horrific site. "How could you--Professor?!" Her eyes darted back and forth from the smoking cage to the niffler bits to Professor Perry.
