Llew looked at Erica seriously, "Oy, Erica. You any good at quidditch?" He said, holding his bucket at his side.

Erica looked up at Llew as she continued cleaning.

"I wish I was. I haven't even gotten on a broom yet. And this is my second year. It seems Professor Prewett wants to take things really slow with us. How about you?"

Pam decided to go back to the classroom to help clean before taking off to her dormitory. She saw a few of her classmates still cleaning and asked, "How can I help you guys?"

"Oh, well...I dunno, but I used ot play goal keeper for a junior football team." He said, holding his bucket, "Anyway, I was going to expediate this a bit, but it requires you to either hide, or be very good at goal tending." He said with a look of mild disgust on his face, "I mean, how are you going to get at the stuff on the ceiling?"

Luna left with the others. At least the lesson had been interesting. She smiled at Perry as she left. She remembered the stories her dad had told her about him at the Ministry picnics. "What a funny little man," she thought to herself. She headed off down the hall.

"I have an idea," Pam said to Llew, "why don't we use a mop to get the goo off the ceiling?" She hoped that Llew knew what a mop was.

Erica looked up and saw the bits of niffler that seemed to stick up to the ceiling. She sighed.

"I think we could clean it up with a little magic. Though Perry might stick us into detention for using them. What do you think?"

She turned to Pam.

"You're welcome to stay if you want. I would just grab a mop and start cleaning the floors before someone slips."

Llew thought for a moment, then remembering his poor affinity for charms, he had an image of him casting accio niffler and then being barraged by chunks of niffler. He shook his head, "No. I think a broom will work." He said, as he broke off a quill tip and tied it to the end of the broom. He proceeded to start spearing chunks of niffler adhering to the walls and ceiling.

She looked up at the tall ceiling a knew right away that a mop would not reach it and decided to do as Erica suggested and mopped the floor.

"This stuff sticks... it is really difficult to clean up." She continued anyway and noticed that the harder she scrubbed, the less that can clean.

Erica started wiping down the walls after she finished with the desks and chairs. It seemed more like she was in detention or something. She had only heard stories of what went down there and none were too pleasant. Plus the smell of burnt niffler was starting to get to her. She had to stop occassionally to hold in her lunch.

"So, Llew. Tell me, what happened here before class started. You'd promise you'd tell me."

She looked up at him expectantly.

Pam suggested, "Try using cold water on the niffler chunks. I believe that the heat I am making by trying to rub ut on the floor makes it stick even more. Cold water might make it come right up."

"Well, it's long and complicated." He said as he speared another few nifflerites, then moving closer to Erica he whispered, "Besides, I know some students are secret spies for teachers. It's not safe to tell you here. We should talk in the common room, or somewhere else that's safe." He then moved away again, "Well, nothing really. Don't worry."

When using her own suggestion the niffler remains started to boil on contact with cold water. She moved back and when it calmed down she found out that it was quite easier to pick up.

Erica's eyebrows raised at the mention of secret spies for the teachers. How did he know already? And there were others? She thought that she was the only one. It was after some thought that she realized how stupid she was to not believe that the other Ministry officials would not try the same thing as well. If Perry could do it, what would be stopping the others, including Leiden herself.

"Okay, we can hit the Common Room or the Room of Requirement later."

She turned and tried Pam's suggestion on one particularly nasty piece of stuck niffler. It worked well as the niffler piece started sliding down the wall. Erica grabbed her bucket and started disposing of that gruesome stuff.

She did not want to make any fast decisions or be accused of trying to listen to other conversations, so after she finished cleaning the niffler remains near her she left the DADA room. As she left she gleefully said, "Bye!", to the other two students... she knew she would have to keep her eyes on them.

Erica turned as Pam waved goodbye and left the classroom. She gave a wave in return as she went back to her work. Her thoughts were spinning. Pam hadn't done much work and it seemed kind of odd for anyone to suddenly take off like that. Erica wondered if she suspected her or Llew with the secretive whispering that was going on between them. She chastised herself and had to remind herself to keep quiet about those things. She couldn't be casting suspicion upon every student that saw her.

After she finished cleaning the walls, she allowed herself some rest. Her scrubbing arm was killing her and she could swear she was starting to smell like burnt niffler. She tried picking off some of the bigger pieces from her hair and robes and dumping those in her bucket, which was already half-full with niffler parts. She didn't want to sit down and risk having to clean another chair.

Llew finished smearing the last of the nifflerites onto the inside of the garbage can. He looked around and noticed that other than Erica, Jenna, and himself, everything in the room was mor eor less clean. He let out a large sigh and looked around, wondering what else he could do in the room.

Erica finished the last of her scrubbing and stood back to inspect the room. Everything was pretty much clean and done, except for the smell. She walked over and opened the windows to air the place out from the niffler smell. She took her time as she did this, trying desperately to keep the chunks of niffler still on her from getting on anything in the room. She made a mental note to wash off before talking to Llew. It was very important that she find out what happened, but not as important as scaring away the entire student body with her unclean appearance and smell. She waved over to Llew and Jenna to catch their attention.

"I think it's all good. The place looks clean enough. Now what?"

Llew blinked, "Well. I think we're done. And I am going to go take a shower. Eight times." He grabbed his shirt and took a brief smell, grimacing like a madman, "Maybe nine times." Llewellyn looked at Erica, Jenna, and his own clothing. "I think I'm finally, truly, afraid of nifflers." He added as he walked to the door, waiting for the other two before closing the room.

Erica grinned at Llew as she followed him out of the classroom.

"If you think you've got it bad, look at me. Just look at me. I got a face full of dirt in Herbology and a heavy sprinkling of niffler to top everything off. It's amazing I don't get a detention walking through the hallways like this."

She did a quick glance back to make sure she didn't forget anything before closing the door behind her.

ooc: Let's assume Jenna already came out. She's still not online yet.

Llew laughed, "I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing at your situation," he said sarcastically. He waved his wand, blowing out the candles as Erica shut the door. He then left the room, walking down the hallway towards the boys' bathroom, "Well, I will talk to you later in the common room, or where ever, yeah? I need a shower," He called to Erica.

ooc: Yeah, I was assuming as much.

Erica gave Llew a final wave goodbye before turning and heading for her Common Room.

"I'll see you later, Llew. And you'd better tell me soon. You promised."

ooc: you two assumed correctly. I'll only be on for an hour or two but I'll be on later as well.

Jenna called, "Wait!" She hurridly finished her sweeping and opened the door again. "Don't lock me inside!" She smiled.
