Martha sat, horrified. She hadn't expected the Niffler to be killed. It, after all, hadn't done anything to them...yet...but still... |
Llewellyn quickly turned around, "No!" He burst out, "I mean...Erm...I think the umm....I think it's something in the local grass sir, not your spell...Yeah...The grass...It causes animals that consume it to react dangerously with simple, harmless, well placed spells. It's called enderphetazainine, that's the chemical. Yeah." |
Annie thought to herself *NO! NOT GOOD!! I don't want to see another Niffler get killed!* Then scratched that particular spell out of her notes. |

Tears welled up in Jenna's eyes. She didn't care if it was an accident or not, this was just wrong. She had really looked up to Professor Perry, too. "You--you--" She choked through tears and fright, "You--you murdered it. You slaughtered it. You made it-- IT EXPLODED!" Her eyes continued darting from the cage to the bits to Perry. |
Erica gladly accepted Llew's hankerchief as she started wiping her face from all of that disgusting niffler stuff that flew all over her. "Thanks, Llew." Idiot, she couldn't help but think as she continued to clean herself up. A pure lamebrained idiot is our Perry. Thanks a lot. |
Astoria looked at Perry with disgust. She shuddered thinking about another niffler exploding. This guy is NUTS! This is morally AND legally wrong! |
Perry shook his head. These children were... wimpy. "I didn't explode the stupid creatures on purpose, and that spell has always worked properly. I don't appreciate your tone. Now..." He shook his wand at her and a bit of niffler flew off the end at her. "I need two students to stay behind to clean up, and the rest of you are dismissed." He glanced around. "Llewelyn and Jenna. Thank you." "Your homework is going to be a full paragraph on the dangers of teh niffler and ways to guard against niffler attacks. Due May 27th. Dismissed." |
Kylie smiled to herself, as she delicately pushed the bits of niffler off her desk with her book...everyone was so grossed out and she found it kind of amusing. Not the fact that the niffler was killed of course...the fact that a professor had managed to actually kill a living being in class, was quite funny. And the professor was none other then her own Head of House...what a good role model... |
Tao sat shocked. She looked over at Martha and Annie with her mouth open at what had just happened. |
Llewellyn grimaced horribly. Clean up?! Yay! Hello, my name is Llewellyn Daniels, I clean up niffler goo for a living! He thought to himself. "Erm...Yes sir." He said, as he stood slowly from his seat. |
Kylie gathered her books and stepping over pieces of smoldering niffler as she went, left the DADA classroom. She couldn't wait to go find her sister and tell her all about the lesson today... |
Tao quickly wrote down her homework and waited for Annie and Martha so they could leave class together. |
Astoria wrote down the homework and headed towards the Great Hall with a look of shock on her face. |
She gulped down the rest of the tears. He's right, I am a tad overemotional. She wiped her tears away and said strongly, "Yes, Professor." She couldn't bare to look at the remnaints of niffler, but she would have to try. |
Kay grabbed her books and walked out of the classroom as she gingerly stepped around the smoking bits of niffler. |
Llewellyn looked over at Jenna with wide, scared eyes. He began wandering around the room absently, looking for a broom. |
Annie gathered her Niffler tainted items, wiped them off as best as she could, and re-packed them into her bag, "Hey guys, I'm gonna go back to the Common Room...See ya there." Then left the classroom. |
Valan wrote down the homework and left the classroom. |
Jenna returned Llewellyn's scared look with an equally frightened one. She took looked around for some sort of cleaning tool. She found 2 brooms in the corner, and handed one to Llewellyn. She began sweeped teh bits into small piles. "Is there a trash can, Professor?" She called to Perry. ooc: nyeh...I have to leave...thanks for an er--intersting lesson! lol see you tomorrow! |
Erica sighed as she gathered her stuff and looked around at the destruction that was once a perfectly healthy niffler. Considering she was already a mess, she figured she might as well stay behind as well and help to clean up. "Excuse me, Professor. I can help clean up as well. I'm already a mess as it is." |
"Er...Thanks." He said to Jenna as he took a broom. No sooner had he done so, than he realized how useless it would be. The force of the niflerplosion was apparently enough to spread nifflerites all over the room. The pieces lay scattered, on desks, adhered to the wall, and smushed onto the floor. He thought for a second, then grabbed a very large waste basket and walked to the middle of the room. |
"You're welcome to stay, Erica. I can see you have this in control. Good luck." He waved at the students before leaving the room. |
Llewellyn narrowed his eyes at Perry evilly. He gave a loud sigh then stood up on one of the chairs. "Ummm...If I were you two, I would hide, this won't be pretty." He said, looking to Jenna and Erica. |
Erica nodded at Perry's response and grabbed a damp towel. She started scrubbing the desks and chairs all the while muttering to herself about things that had to do with nifflers and how gross they were. |
