Astoria saw everyone around her take jewelry off, so she took her necklace with an 'A' pendant off so it wouldn't get damaged.

Jenna giggled too, but hastily stopped to not get caught. She mouthed back "Thanks." She smiled and turned back to Professor Perry.

Jenna stared at the inflated niffler. Something tells me that didn't work right. she thought. She turned to teh Gryffindor who had nudge her and raised an eyebrow, then looked back to Perry.

Annie was a little shocked at the answer. She looked down at her fingers and her neck. She doesn't wear jewelry, and she's never had a filling. *I guess you can run across those few people who can every once in a while.* She the thought to herself, and watched as the Niffler started to swell, and took notes.

Erica watched Perry perform his little charm and only just managed to hold back a giggle. It was almost too much to witness. The professor teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts couldn't do a "little spell," as he himself had put it. She put her head down and pretended to take serious notes while calming herself down.

Llewellyn quirked an eyebrow wondering if that was the spell's intended effect. He was beginning to wonder just how capable Professor Perry really was. Looking to his side, he noticed Erica holding back a giggle, and decided not to write down the previous spell cast. In all likelihood it was useless.

Martha sat quietly in her seat, taking notes and hoping that the professor's spell had worked the way he had wanted it to.

Llewellyn winced, as well as nearly threw up as one of the small nifflerites landed on his desk. Not thinking, Llew jumped out of his seat and into the one next to him. "Holy mother of!!" He yelled in surprise.
And Lainey was put into the expert hands of this 'professional'?!! He thought to himself, quickly followed by the image of Professor Lainey exploding in a similar fashion.

Erica had controlled herself just enough to stop the giggling when she looked up and got a face full of niffler. She screamed and pulled it off of her face and also noticed that she had bits of niffler in her hair and on her robes as well. She sat at the desk fuming, clearly not happy with her new look.

Kylie ducked her head at the explosion, "Holy..." she mumbled. What in the world had just happened? Peaking back up at the front of the class she saw bits of what used to be a niffler landing all around her. A piece landed beside her arm, causing her to pull her arm back quickly, before curiously poking the piece with her quill.

Jenna scrawled back to Shante: "Hi! I'm Jenna, third year. Nice to meet---"

But a bang caused her to stop short. Jenna's eyes grew wide. "Oh my...that's HORRIBLE!" her mouth gaped open at the horrific site. "How could you--Professor?!" Her eyes darted back and forth from the smoking cage to the niffler bits to Professor Perry.

Annie's eyes got big when she had absorbed what had just happened. "You killed it!! Oh that poor little guy!" She couldn't help but exclaim.

Astoria nearly jumped out of her chair when the niffler exploded. When a piece of it landed near her hand she jerked her hand as far away from it as possible.
Eww! That's just NASTY!!

Llew looked at Erica, now in the seat next to him. "Erm...You...You have niffler in your hair. Did you know?" He asked, extending a handkerchief to her, as he began picking the chunks of niffler out of her hair.
