Jenna looked around in a panic. "Oh no! What's wrong? Do you think it's serious?!" She put down her quill and questioned the student next to her.

Martha wrote a quick note for Annie to read at the corner of her parchment...it read.."who was that?"

Annie wrote on the same piece of parchment

She handed the note back over to Martha.

Annie gets up and peeks out into the hall. "OH NO!! Terry hit Professor Perry with some sort of stunner spell. I don't know why, but I think that girl thinks Professor Perry is out to get people." She tells Martha when sits back down

Martha didn't dare write a response. She didn't want to get into trouble talking about old professors. She decided to put the note in her bag and take out some fresh parchment. Thinking to herself she thought *Oh my gosh...I thought old professors weren't allowed on the school grounds! How odd.* Martha turned towards Annie and whispers, "Shouldn't someone go and get the Headmistress? A teacher has just been attacked."

"I guess I could go.." Annie whispers to Martha, then gets up, and heads to the Headmistress' office.

Erica entered the classroom to the shocked faces of of several students. It was obvious that something had happened, though what she was unsure. She scanned the classroom for Perry but he was nowhere in sight. She uneasily took a seat in the class and waited for it to begin.

No sooner Nadia had sat, she was startled by the outburst and the person in question. Now she was sure, at teh light of the classroom; she was NPOT delucional. It was her, exiting the place now. Nadia watched the professor excuse himself and just as immediately followed.

Jen looked around at the other students who hadn't gone running after whoever had just barged into the classroom. "Does anyone have any idea what's going on?" she asked.

Erica's curiousity overcame the best of her and she addressed no one in particular.

"Yes. Can someone tell us late people what just happened? We can see it written all over your faces."

Luna sat in the back of the room. She held up the ends of her hair and proceeded to pick the split ends off. She sighed to herself and just let whatever was going on, float over her head.

Annie stumbled back into the classroom out of breath. "Well, I guess the Headmistress already knows. She wasn't in her office."

Llewellyn walked tiredly back into the classroom. He dropped down heavily in his seat and set his wand down in front of him, breathing heavily.

Sighing, Erica turned back in her seat and waited for the class to start. It seemed no one wanted to answer her. They were all looking like they were still in shock. She would find out later, from anyone, even if she had to ask Perry himself.

"Could someone please tell us what's going on?" Jen asked the students that had just returned.

Professor Perry reentered the classroom and took a quick survey. It was apparent that several of his students had not heeded his words and stayed in their seats. With a sigh, he turned the key in the lock. If they couldn't listen, they weren't welcome back in the room for this class.

"I apologize for that, students. Let's go ahead and get ready for the lesson. Today we are going to talk about a very dangerous animal." He pointed at the covered cage.

Erica pulled out some parchment and a quill and got ready to take some notes. She forced herself to apply as much attention to the lesson at hand as was possible. She would find out what happened later.

Jenna shuddered at Professor Perry locking the door to a room with a 'very dangerous animal' and their wands out of their reach. With this thought, Jenna reached slowly into her robe pocket and took hold of her wand, just in case. With her other hand, she took up her quill and let it drip over her parchment.

Llewellyn silently waited for class to begin, in the meantime however he mouthed to Erica, his fellow Hufflepuff, Tell you later and began writing neatly on some parchment: "Defense Against the Dark Arts: lesson #2"

Jaren hadn't moved an inch despite the strange...erm...shall we say occurance? Deciding it would be best not to act or behave as if the event was anything out of the ordinary.

Wondering how "dangerous" the "animal" Perry spoke of could possibly be (and considering this was Professor Perry) he lifted his quill and waited for the lesson to proceed.
