DADA Lesson 2 Professor Perry set a medium-sized cage on his desk before charming the door open. He had quite an exciting lesson prepared today, and he waited eagerly behind his desk for the students to come in and take their seats. |
Martha walks in and takes a seat towards the front of the classroom. Noticing a cage sitting on Professor Perry's desk, she studies it carefully before taking out her parchment, ink, book, and wand. Smiling at the professor she says, "Wonderful day today, professor. " |
Birdy walked into the room. "Afternoon, Professor," she said as cheerfully as possible, strangling out a weak smile. As she took her seat, she couldn't surpress a meloncholy sigh thinking about when the classes were taught by Professor Rae. Nonetheless, she took out her wand and textbooks- some not even on the school required list- and prepared for class. |
Jen walks into the classroom and takes a seat near the middle of the classroom. She takes out ink and some parchment. "Hi Professor." she says with a smile. |
Nadia walked into the room and took seat in the front. She had an expression on her face that showed a little change. The rumours ha done wonders to her opinion of the professor. But not wanting to take conclusions too rushedly, she settled herself down and prepared to analyze the situation better, and with her own eyes. |
Sarah entered the classroom and sat down at a desk in the middle of the classroom and looked at the cage on the Professor's desk. "Hello Professor." She said taking out some if her things and placing them on the desk. |
Llew walked into the classroom and found an empty seat. He opened his bag and started taking out his textbooks and parchment. |
Annie walked into the classroom, and took a seat next to Martha. She smiled at her, took out her quill, ink and parchment, and said "Good day Professor! All is well I presume?" |
Martha opens her notebook and begins to draft another detailed letter to her parents, while waiting for class to start. They had so enjoyed her last one that now she knew she needed to keep them informed. She looks up every know and then to make sure new instructions haven't been placed on the board. |
Terry walks into the classroom and notices Mr. Perry sitting at his desk. A coverd cage sitting on it. She is reminded of the story her greatgrandmother told her about Gilderoy Lockhart and the cornish pixies. Terry doubts Mr. Perry would do something that funny in class. She decides to find a seat near Nadia. After her episode in HOM class, she wants to have an uneventful lesson in DADA. |
"Alright, students... you know the drill. Put away your wands, get our texts, parchment, and a quill. I suggest you write down every word I say today, as it just might save you." He gave them a serious look. |
Martha put away her wand, and listened intently to make sure she took detailed notes. |
Already having all of the necessary supplies out, Annie sits ready and waiting. *I wonder what's in the cage* She though to herself, curious and excited. |
Serena put her wand back in her book bag and pulled out paper, quill and ink as she smiled and nodded at the professor. She thought to herself... Oooo, the mighty pen, used in self defense, I can't wait to find out how. |
Terry takes out her textbook and quill. Just once she'd like to learn some DADA in DADA class. "Good afternoon, Mr. Perry, what have you got in the cage? Cornish pixies by chance. |
Nadia took her wand out and just as immediately being told to keep it away, she put it to the side. Then as instructed took her quill and parchment and rubbed her eyes to clear her mind. Next was only waiting... She nodded at Terry as she sat by her, in a greeting gesture. Her eyes returned to the front. The box or whatever evenly shaped object was under that veil, considering the size... Nadia wondered what thing or, more especifically, what creature could be found in here. She wasn't expecting the class to be too challenging... no, strike that; the only reason why she didn't sleep at Melita and Borr's classes was shock and humiliation. She wondered if she could manage awake though DADA... |
Lee walked int he classroom in a grumpy mood. He took his usual seat at the back and rested his head on the table. |
Lainey just knew she had found it. It had been a while since she had walked through the castle.. a while since she had done a lot of things.. but this surely had to be the Great Hall. "Hendrik!" she shouted as she swung the door open! "Help!" But... as the room came into focus, as well as the face of her former lovely students sitting in their desks.. she knew she had messed up. Her eyes wide and her heart pounding twice as hard as before.. she ran. |
Lee's eyes widened as his old professor came intot he door frame "Professor Lainey!" he shouted after her. Without thinking twice he grabbed his things and ran after her, she was in some state. |
Professor Perry held up his hand and stared in shock at the woman who had just wandered through the door. "Excuse me, class. You must stay here. I will be back shortly." He jumped to his feet and rushed out the door in Lainey's footsteps. |
Annie jumped as she heard somemone burst in. She turned around, but they were gone before she could see wit was. Startled, she turned back to the front, and wondered who it was. She watched as the Professor left the class. *What now. Can't we EVER have a class go on uninterrupted?!* She thought to herself. |
Jen saw a strange looking woman enter the classroom shouting for someone. "Professor, what's going on?" she asked puzzled by the sudden interruption. |
Llewellyn left his bag and books and ran after Lee, out of the classroom. |
Martha turned and looked at the person who had just entered the back of the room. Whoever it was had been extremely loud... |
Arkee stared, astonished, at Professor Lainey's sudden entrance and exit. Without thinking of the consequences, she dropped her quill and rushed after Lee's retreating form. |
