Martha gulped and felt immediatley felt sorry for the poor soul who had wandered in late. She glances at Professor Perry and then quickly back down at her notes. |
Astoria's mood immediately changed after Andriel spoke. About time someone put him in his place! She then grinned towards the Hufflepuff who came in late. Good! Something to draw the attention away from us! |
"I think you're wrong." Anelreas replied, having calmed her tone. "In Potions, Professor Melita treated everyone equal." |
Kylie rolled her eyes and thought to herself, if that's the case then why don't you go find your own head of house and leave this classroom but she didn't say anything. She just looked down at her notes and kept quiet...after all she had a biased opinion considering Professor Perry was her Head of House |
Kay turned pale at the comment made by the Slytherin student. 'Oh, please' she thought, 'you're going to make things worse for everyone. At least you don't have to worry about him wandering through your common room.' |
Linnea answered the smart-mouthed Slythy "Actually, I don't notice it at all. Professor Melita offers cookies to all and is very sweet. Professor Perry is just on your black list because he's enforcing the school rules....." She had more to say, but didn't want to get herself, or her house, in trouble. |
Ashley grimaced as one of her housemates had drawn attention for their late arrival. "Oh great," she thought to herself. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. "Just sit down and let him continue with class," she thought, "Don't draw any more attention to yourself" |
Martha had been to potions herself and agreed with Anelreas. She raised her hand and said, "Yes, Anelreas is right. Professor Melita treated every student equally." |
*Andriel looked at Anelreas* I said some teachers, not all the teachers. *She said coldly...And you call youself a Slytherin, she thought.* |
Erica made her plans. Right after this class, she was going to the RoR and scream her head off to release the tension she was feeling right now. It was a good idea that actually brought a smile to her lips as she patiently waited for the class to continue. |
Raven smiled and raised her hand. "Professor you are so correct to be following in Leiden's orders and enforcing the laws at Hogwarts. These new rules has been such a help to Ravenclaw sucess and study habits. You make Hogwarts the way it should be," she said kindly and gave a small bow not trying to hit her head on the desk. "Maybe there should be a new rules placed to see how important it is to follow the rules and...(she paused). |
Perry frowned at the Slytherin who was now talking to him. She wasn't a first year, and she should know better than to speak in such a manner. "I'm sorry, child. I thought that I was leading the class today. If you want to address the class, feel free to do so after you have permission. Now, it may seem that I'm favoring my house, but I would take points from them as well if they were late. Would you have me ignore that impertinent girl's tardiness? I am not going to defend myself to you, and you may have a seat. I believe we've heard enough of your opinion for this class." He placed a silencing charm on her and turned to the other students. ooc: I have to say this. EEEee... I'm not mean and i love you guys so much. *clings* And... I really don't think its fair to punish the Hufflepuffs for someone who didn't stay around and just dropped in long enough to be late. I'm going to ic drop it. Let's all pretend it didn't happen. *twiddles thumbs* |
Mithos nodded in agreement with Raven. He gave her a smile and she looked at him. |
Astoria looked at the Ravenclaw who's name was Linnea and made a mental note to add her to her hit list. She then threw her hands up in the air. OH CRAP! Now we will get more points taken off our house! This day is getting even worse! I am about ready to kill someone! |
Kay threw a cold look at Raven and then saw Mithos nodding in agreement with what Raven had said. |
ooc: Oh, okay then :) Let's forget it all. I just love Slytherin and wanted to defend my house, but let us leave it :D Sorry Professor :P |
[ooc: All I have to say is .. *bows to Perry for placing the silencing charm*] Anelreas looked down at Tobias and saw his tail twitching. He had been feeling all she had been during the class. Oh it would be interesting to see how they would both relieve this stress. |
Martha didn't say anything but thought to herself that it might seem that each HoH favored their students, and that it wasn't just Professor Perry. She personally didn't think that any of the teachers showed favoritism. |
Erica tore her eyes away from her notes and looked at each student with a pitying expression before going back to her notes. Can't we all just get along, she thought. So we can get out of here? |
(ooc: oops, he deleted it, nevermind!) Linnea turned to Professor Perry with her blue eyes still a little wet. "May we please continue class, Sir?" She asked politely |
ooc: Okay, are we all friends now? :) I am just so mad because I have to do homework and it's really late here in Surrey. I am sooo exhausted. |
Llewellyn kept his head down, absent-mindedly looking at his fellow Hufflepuffs, making sure they weren't getting involved. With a sigh he began doodling, hoping that he would began learning actual defense against the dark arts soon. Great...Just how am I going to pull off five E's with this kind of curriculum?! He thought to himself. |
Professor Perry was very agitated and couldn't seem to get back into the spirit of the class. "I'm sorry, but I'm going to cut the class short now. You may owl me your homework assignment, due May 19th. I would like you to list up to five additional rules you'd like added. They will be worth one point each, for a total of five points." He turned and moved back around his desk, taking a seat. "Erica, I'd like you to stay after class to speak with me. And you... the Slytherin who likes to voice her opinions..." he pointed to the one he'd silenced. "I'm placing on you a sticking charm that is the equivalent of a magical seal. The only one to remove the silencing charm will be me, and I will only remove it when you can show me you've learned to hold your tongue. I suggest a letter of apology. You are dismissed." |
Yawning, Martha put down her quill and leaned back in her seat. She kept an eye on Professor Perry and tried to pay attention. |
Ashley sat patiently waiting for class to continue. Wishing that her fellow hufflepuffs would work harder at being on time. |
