Raven had once more nodded and watched the Professor. |
Kylie nodded and quietly said "Yes Professor." Now that the Slytherin girl was going to detention, maybe class could go back to normal. |
Martha looked at her page full of notes about rules and then back up at the professor. She nodded her head, 'yes' but kept silent. |
*Andriel didn't know what to say. She just calmed down and looked directly at the professor.* Yes, we are ready to continue. *She said coldly.* |
Erica sighed and placed her quill on the desk. She had a splitting headache from all the arguing ensuing in the class and rubbed her temples until she felt better. She picked up her quill again and readied for more notes, now that it seemed that the class would finally settle down. |
Linnea nodded, eyes still big from what had just happened. "I'm ready to continue, Professor." She said a little quietly, as if afraid the Slytherins would bash her next. |
Anelreas nodded her head with the rest. "Yes, sir." |
Nadia was about to ask yet another question, but Brittany seemed to be taking the monopoly of the class with hers anyways. That and making a loose for every house point Nadia had earned so far. However, that didn't seem to bother her, she was surprised to find. It was quite obvious that she wasn't taking this all too seriously and taking this silent stand would save her neck anyways. The Slytherins, well, they were being attacked on their pride. She couldn't blame them, yet saying something would make just things worse. Who knew what these professors would feel like if they knew they had as much respect from their students as ants had for their food. Bigger, yeah, but in the end only dead meat. On the look on Raven's face? Oh she wouldn't even comment. She didn't know what she was getting herself into, if somebody asked Nadia. The favoritism was only a matter of perspective, and Nadia was not surprised at Gryffindor having negative numbers even now... Shall Nadia dare another appreciation? Whatever way the Slytherins needed to shut up. Have their pride and time stepped upon could be easily avoided by just walking out of the classroom, since it wasn't mandatory. And she could go on and on over how this could be an attack or lack thereof, on how Slytherins could make it worse and even how this all house-pride would end with a food-fight with flying pies in the Great Hall. But she dared not give ideas. She didn't answer the question since the answer was quite obvious anyways. |
Astoria nodded her head and spoke to the professor coldly. "Yes, Professor." |
Kay whispered a barely audible "yes" to Professor Perry's question. |
"Excellent, then... let's move on. Back to the rules. Are there any rules you feel are necessary that are not included at this time?" |
robert walks in, and he greets the Professor. he finds himself seat at the back, and says "hi" to some seatmates. surely one of my first classes this year. |
*Andriel was still looking directly at Professor Perry, but she was thinking about possible ways of making Raven's life a hell.* |
Llewellyn continued taking notes, making a mental note not to get involved with the current situation. He quietly hoped that the professor would quickly begin the lesson. |
Martha looks down at her notes thoughtfully. In her opinion, the rules were already very thorough. |
*Andriel raised up her hand.* Yes, I think we should add a rule saying that ALL students shall be treated equal by the teachers. |
Linnea watched the huffie walk in - late, of course - and groaned inwardly, afraid of a repeat performance. She raised her hand, "Maybe an automatic detention for those walking in late, since it disrupts the class so much. Or even showing respect to other students...." She trailed off, she was only a second year and didn't want the slytherins mad at her. |
Raven watched the Huffelpuff enter with a grin on his face. She turned backa nd stared at the Professor wondering what was going to happen next. She looked down at her notes and found the school rules and a list of people that wanted her dead. She looked at teh Professor smiled. |
Astoria looked at Professor Perry and shook her head. As if we need any more rules! She then looked towards Andriel and directed her thoughts towards her. Got any ideas on how we can destroy her, yet? |
"Well, I think that's just a given, miss. Do you feel that there are serious discrepencies in the way people are being treated?" He noticed the Hufflepuff slip in. "What is going on today? Why are YOU late?" |
*A have a lots of ideas...We can talk about them in the common room. She then waited for professor to answer.* |
Erica saw the late Hufflepuff walk in and sighed yet again. This already long DADA class seemed to only be getting longer. She literally had to force herself back to the notes and the silent mantra running in her head, Say nothing, react to nothing. |
Ashley blinked, still in sheer shock of what had just occured. Sure she had some enemies with some Slytherin students, but it didn't mean that they had to be treated differently than the rest. Everyone was here for one reason, and the Teachers should recognzie it. She looked around the room and noticed looks of disgust grazed the faces of most of the Slytherin students. She couldn't blame them, if it was her house in jepordy she would feel extremely upset as well. She sighed to herself and continued taking silent notes |
Kay was startled by the sharp tone of Mr. Perry's voice as he demanded an answer. Not wanting to make eye contact with the other students, she scanned the notes that she had written. |
*Andriel smiled a bit.* I have noticed for example that some teachers who are heads of a house do favour more students from their own house than other students from other houses. Am I right? *She asked the class* |
