Astronomy Lesson 4
 

You ascend into a completely circular room at the top of the highest tower. The walls are completely made of floor to ceiling glass, except a metre wide section for a fire, giving an almost 360 degree view of the surrounds. Accessible through an almost invisible break is the glass is a wide stone balcony that completely encircles the room. There is a charm around the doorway that stops the stinging wind from entering.

The room is vast, having been expanded by magic. In it stands a very large and magnificent telescope that can reach even the most distant stars, its lenses pointing out through the glass wall, which actually revolves so that it can be turned any direction. On the balcony stand many smaller telescopes on tripods, and inside are about 30 small wooden desks shaped like stars and moons with very comfortable high backed chairs. They are arranged around a large Mahogany desk shaped like a crescent moon, with a similar chair… Professor Dainsie’s desk.

Come on in everyone!

Erica steps inside the Astronomy classroom, ready for another lesson with a sane professor. She waves to Professor Dainsie before taking a seat and pulling out her materials.

Rave walked into the classroom and took a seat. "Hello professor" She said.

Tao walks in from sitting out by the lake and takes a sit at the back, waiting for her friends to come in.

Martha sneaks in quietly, hoping not to draw attention to herself. She sees Tao in the back and heads towards her. She finds a seat and sits down, taking out her supplies.

Erica eyes Professor Dainsie quite curiously and starts to worry. What was wrong with her? Why was she acting all strange?

"Professor, are you alright?"

Martha notices the Professor is acting a bit strange. She sits on the edge of her seat, hoping that everything is okay. She didn't know if she could handle one more stressing event. She is actually thinking about leaving class if the Professor didn't start to behave normally.

Nadia took a seat at the fron, only looking up to perceive some of the professor's weird attitude when she recognized the lyrics of te song she was singing. Nonetheless, more than a strange look given to herself, she shrugged it off and started taking her things out.

Martha faces Tao and smiles at her. She whispers, "Hey, how are you doing?" Martha yawns politely while waiting for her friend to respond.

Serena took her seat near the front of class. "Professor Dainsie, that sounds really nice. I like that song as well."

Julia walks into the classroom and takes a seat. She takes out her supplies and waits for class to begin. She looks up at the Professor and over at Mithos then tilts her head to one side for a moment, then Julia raises her eyebrows and just stares up at the ceiling, continuing the wait for class to begin.

Amber walked in and noticed Julia, the only person in the room she was familiar with. She sat down next to her and got out her supplies, and gave Julia a quick wink.

Martha sighed with relief and giggled at herself. Lately she had become way too paranoid about silly things. She packs up her things, a little dissapointed that class has been postponed, but relieved at the same time. She could use a little break from class and homework. Martha says goodbye to Tao and slips out of the class quickly, heading for the Ravenclaw Common Room.

Nadia finished taking her things out and looked though her Astronomy and Astrology books both as she waited for class to start.

Tao looked over at Martha and smiled. She began twiddling her thumbs waiting for class to begin.

Serena took out her astronomy book and gazed out the window waiting for class to start.

Katherine looked at the professor. What is going on? she wondered
