Miss O'hara waves her wand and the once closed and locked door opens slightly, just enough so that students know that it is indeed time for class, but closed enough as to not distract too much attention from people who are not serious about learning arithmancy.

At the front of the room you see Miss O'hara sitting quietly writing some notes down, glancing up every few minutes to see who is in the classroom.

"We will wait about 5 more minutes before starting, I am sure a few of my students may be lost, in the meantime feel free to chat quietly amoung yourselves... keep in mind I said quietly..." she said giving a weak small smile.

Astoria took notes on everything the professor said and copied down the star chart on a seperate piece of parchment.

Jade quickly copied down the chart and some notes before looking back up at the Professor. She waited for the lesson to continue.

Tori was so lost. None of this made scene to her. They didn’t have this subject at her old school. Tori also realize that she wasn’t going to get any help from Jade as well.

"Well Birdy, muggles study something that is called numerology, which is very closesly related to arithmancy, seeing as we both use the same chart, however we can look deeper into the meanings, we can explain some of the unexplainable unlike muggles. We will get much much more out of the numbers and letters then muggles can, although you will see many relations if you know numerology."

"If there are no more questions, class dismissed, if you have a question or are confused please feel free to ask i'll be around this classroom for a bit longer before heading back to my office. Homework will be posted later today... please check back then."

Cherry raises her hand.

"Professor, earlier in the lesson you mentioned the different branches of Arithmancy like the Heart, Social, Lifepath, Destiny and Character Numbers. What I'm having trouble understanding is what are they exactly? What do they show?"

Jade gathered him things and stuffed them into her pack before swinging her pack over her shoulder.
"Good Day Professor."
Jade said as she walked out of the classroom.

"We will get to that in later lessons each one means something else, and you use different numbers to find each one. We will be working with some of those things next class. I only wanted to give a small intro about arithmancy during this class."
