The three former ghosts were forcibly removed from the trial: posts 132-134

Leeness 04-05-2005 06:08 PM

Leiden has announced that she shall be announcing the results of the trial at the end of term ball.

Joy Miller 04-06-2005 01:45 AM

The ball is open.

She-Who-Is-Not-To-Be-Psycho! 04-06-2005 02:58 AM

Well, since this is the end I will use this thread for a question: I notice you have erased from view the classrooms, but does that means there's no way we get to finish the due assigments now? There's still time for one of the deadlines, per see.

:shifty:

XxNoelxX 04-06-2005 11:30 AM

To elaborate on Leiden's statement the ball is, might I say, a bit lifeless. Everyone is just standing around nervously, waiting for the verdict.

Ooops... I wasn't aware of that. :head: I have to stop assuming that all the professors are aware of when things are happening (like, assuming that all assignments and stuff would be handed in prior to the feast/ball when we traditionally announce the winner of the House Cup). I guess you can still hand in the assignments... you didn't have to post them in the classroom, did you? If so, I can open that forum for you again. I just have a habit of shutting down the school when everyone should be at the ball prior to heading onto the Express (it gives me more time to shut everything down and prep the common areas for next term and whatnot).

You dont post the hw in the classroom, but you do read what the hw is in their hw thread.. unless it has been previously posted in the Common Room hw announcement thread.

Biochemkris 04-06-2005 12:55 PM

Is that just a general statement? Because I am aware that most of the time, you don't hand in your homework in the classroom (though I have given practical potion assignments where people DID have to post in the forum). Also, posting in the CRs won't help because I shut down the entire school (I'm still in the process). So, I need to know which class still has an assignment open so I can reopen that forum for you guys.

Leeness 04-06-2005 12:57 PM

does this also mean we cannot continue or SAMMO meeting?

Biochemkris 04-06-2005 01:00 PM

Yeah, the school is closed because everyone should be at the ball. I realize that it seems unfair because some people could feasibly be out and about in the castle still but, Leiden wanted the school closed to ensure that all students attended the ball (it's mandatory ;)).

ohh yeh because the results are to be posted there, i understand :) and anyways the ministry might be leaving now so there will be no need for SAMMO anymore. Thanks for answerign my question. I thoguyht i had gone crazy when i seen my posts go down but now i know why :D

Just to answer Kris' question, the muggle studies forum is the one with the open deadline. I believe that the assignment's due date is April 7th.

And does this mean there are no final exams?

Biochemkris 04-06-2005 04:55 PM

No final exams this term. Leiden cancelled them, though with the trial and everything, I'm not sure she had time to actually RP informing the students that there were no final exams. I'll reopen the Muggle Studies forum and close it after April 7th, then. Thanks.

Backslash 04-06-2005 04:58 PM

(bug-eyed) No "theoretical" OWLs for the fifth-years then? Not that we ever actually do them, but did they, in theory, write their OWLs or not?

Biochemkris 04-06-2005 05:19 PM

I'd say that those who consider themselves 5th years and are going to continue on as 6th years could say that they sat their OWL exams. Make up how you did on them for yourself based on how well you do in those classes or whatever you'd like. (side note: I really wish we could work OWLs into the story and stuff *kicks practicality*)

Leeness 04-06-2005 06:57 PM

It has been announced by the horrible and not-so wise Leiden that our 5 professors (airlia, riddle, rae, bree and Lainey) shall not be returningnext term and their replacements should be staying (more Borr and Shwame, lucky for our characters *sarcasm*) anywayz hopefully then will get back in the schools omehow.

For this reference to be proved please go to the dance floor page 2, this is where she makes the announcement.

Hermione_loves_Ron 04-08-2005 01:23 AM

Grrr... joyous.

SAMMO shall still be around then.... :shifty:

Anywho. So no finals. A ball. And no Professors next term. That's almost depressing :(

Biochemkris 04-11-2005 07:36 PM

There will be professors next term.

Anyway, The Hogwarts Express has left and the term is officially over. I will allow this thread to remain open just in case there are any loose ends that need to be tied up and then, I'll lock it before the sorting.

Thanks for a great term! :)

Makani 04-11-2005 07:50 PM

*hugs Kris and the rest of the Professors*

Backslash 04-12-2005 07:59 PM

Thank you, the SS school staff, for a interesting term.

GanymedeCraft17 04-12-2005 08:49 PM

:worried: Yes it was such an interesting term... and no deaths! I was pleased once again. Thankyou sweet dear.. *sobs* YOUR AWESOME! *scoots off crying from pure happiness*

Josef Perry 04-13-2005 03:15 AM

Actually, my dear little children, there WAS a death. But it was self-induced, and not the fault of the staff THIS TIME.

Backslash 04-13-2005 03:17 AM

I think that was what was meant...I will zip it now. (does so)

Starbreeze 04-13-2005 03:21 AM

Thank you all for the BEST term I've ever had on SS *it's also his only/very first*
Ah! Ravenclaw wins the House Cup and we don't get to throw a party :(

 I second everything that has been said. Aw, pity Lord Voldimortist was absent fom the whole order *grins* We sooooooooo miss him. LOL.

:hide:

I would open a pool on if you think Leiden is Voldimortist\'s secret lover but I don\'t think I would be allowed to waste so much precious ooc-chat thread space. LOL again.
