For those of you taking Astronomy, class has started.

If anyone needs help with future homework, you can leave your questions here or discuss class with the others studying here.

Please check the homework board for our first assignment due tomorrow. It is very simple, no research necessary!!!! Please, the more who respond, the more house points!!!! You did not need to attend Astronomy to do the homework!!!

Also, another reminder.... Read class rules to know what to do in each teacher's class.
EVERY teacher will take house points if you 'say' you are late, hope you are not late, or ask if you are late. Please do not do this, act as if you have always been there.

The Flying Instructor, Professor Prewett III may start class today! He likes to give points, so keep an eye out, and make sure to follow class rules and answer question, even if you are not sure of the answer. Don't be afraid of being creative, but stay away from being a 'drama queen'.

I have to do some research to see more, but I know we did Tasseomancy, the thing with 3 stones in water by the lake (?name?), Padomany (foot reading, like palm reading). We also talked of Seers and Diviners. I'll post more information later.

Hydromancy is the name for the water divining we did.

5 Ravenclaws completed it, as well as a slytherin, and I'm the only Gryffindor so far.

Astronomy homework is listed and is due Sunday.

Potions has been on hold... to start again?

Charms Homework is posted and due on Sunday.

Herbology is still open. You can feed mice to the Dransuls!

Arithmancy homework is posted and due Saturday!

And Divination is worth the most points and is due on Saturday!

And History of Magic is due Feb. 8th!

Serena sat down at the study table and started in on all the homework she couldn't put off finishing any more. She had her owl 'Goldie' with her to send in her assignments as soon as she finished them.

"Here's a treat girl!" she said to her owl her was happy to be out of the owlery for a change. "Now, this paper goes to Professor Rae in the Defense Against the Dark Arts office. This second one goes to Professor Hanamon in Charms. When you get back, there will be more treats waiting!" she said as Goldie flew off to deliver the assignments.

"I hope some of the other students get there homework in. We could use the points. DADA is due today!"
She started on her Arithmancy and Divination homework.

Goldie returned to Serena just as she completed two more assignments.

"This will be all for today Goldie. I still have to finish Divination, but since that assignment is worth the most points, I want to make sure I do my best on it. We still have a few more days to finish History of Magic. Here's a couple more treats!" she said as she smoothed the feathers on Goldies' head.

"Now this one goes to Professor Bree in Arithmancy, and this one goes to Professor Dainsie in Astronomy. I'll see you tomorrow Goldie." she said as she sent her off with a kiss.

Serena finished her Potions Homework and sent Goldie with it early. She started working on Care of Magical Creatures and Arithmancy. Then she saw the notice someone had posted in Gryffindor Tower. She was glad she had not taken any cookies, or the stars she earned in class.

Serena sat down to start her Muggle Studies homework and was glad to see someone else was doing the work. "Hi Kelli! I see you've finished yours. I better get going, it's due Sunday!"
