Professor Rae still looked very stunned as she turned back to the class. "Alright students. Today we're going to talk about a Dark Creature some of you have had no previous contact with." She blinked and had to regain her line of thinking before she continued. "Ah... yes. I need everyone to take a pair of these earmuffs I borrowed from the greenhouses." She set a basket of earmuffs on her desk.

Raven walked towards the Front of the Classroom and grabbed a pair of earmuffs. She placed them on her neck and looked at Professor Rae. She whispered in a low tone "I have all trust in you." She turned back making her Ravenclaw robes snap and sat back down in the middle of the classroom and waited for futhur instructions.

Hannah walked up to the desk and tuke a pair of earmuffs. and sat back down in her sat

"okay"

Drusilla went to take earmuffs. She found a pair of green ones and picked them up.

Bailey put her book down and got up from her seat. She grabbed a pair of earmuffs off of the Professor's desk and sat back down, curiously looking around while waiting for further instructions.

Nadia groaned into her palms as she heard the last of Raven intervention. Both hands covering her face and shaking her head. Oh she was in pain. How she wished it to be over...

Once the class actually started, she moved fowards for an earmuff as the other kids where doing. Her face was sore, as if she was tired out of her senses. She only regained enough strenght to recall what would they talk about --

"Banshees," she said to herself simply as she found her way to the desk and went back to sit down.

Mithos walked to the front of the class and got a pair of earmuffs for himself than he walked back to his seat.

She rolled her fingers nails on the desk trying to calm her angered self down. She had lost trust of some one that had potienal to be a friend. She frowned and looked around wanting to break some one's neck. She couldn't believe how Leiden had treated her... as if she was a low first year that seemed ignorent.

Professor Rae smiled gratefully at Raven and nodded at Nadia, who had also jumped up during the argument. It was nice to know not everyone felt she was totally at fault, even if she herself thought she was.

Alicia snapped her earmuffs around her neck and opened her notebook so she was ready to take notes. Then she thought about all the creatures she has come in contact with but none of them were dark...

*Kirstie quietly walked to the front of the classroom to collect her earmuffs, attempted a reassuring smile at the professor, and returned to her seat*

Raven looked at Professor Rae and nodded hoping that she would contiune. It was a very uncomfortable silence that creeped through the room. She needed to be active because she just had an erge to do something. She pulled out a Quill and began to write Data on the parchment to keep up with her studies.

Jake got up. He walked over to the basket. He took a pair of what it looked liek green ear muffs. He walked back to his seat.

Nadia was somewhat surprised by the professor's actions. She blushed slightly though her expression showed nothing but worry and maybe something else. Her heart was pounding furiously. She hated it when that happened...

Anelreas sat in shock at the argument between her Professor and the Ministry Official. Any thoughts of the woman being kind and only being at Hogwarts to look around were dispersed in her mind. How arrogant could I have been to think that? She scolded herself.

She walked to the front like the rest of the students and picked up a pair of earmuffs. She walked back to her seat, the earmuffs in her hands. She wasn't going to put them on just yet. She still wanted to hear instruction from Professor Rae.

She very vaguely heard Nadia mutter the word 'Banshees.' She groaned and sat down. "This is going to be interesting." She muttered blankly.

Lee took a pair of earmuffs and waited for the next part of the lesson. Lee wasn't sure who to believe about last term as he was absent from it as this was his first year.

Professor Rae held up a hand. "Don't cover your ears yet. I'll give you the signal and then I want you to put them tightly over your ears. The creature we're going to look at is quite loud, although the most that will happen is discomfort. Unlike mandrakes, no physical harm will happen. Now... please cover your ears."

No pysichal damage? Now Nadia was curious. She covered her ears right away at the signal and watched expectantly, most of the previous worries erased from her mind. She tried to think of what it could be - she was sure it could not be Mandrakes no, would it?

Lee now placed his earmuffs on at his professors request

Raven eyes widend as she placed her earmuffs over. She was slighty excited to see the creature but still had things running through her head. She made sure the flaps over the ears was secure and then looked at the Professor and staring for anticipating for the next step along in the lesson.

*Kirstie put her earmuffs on and looked around the classroom and saw faces she knew from last term, and some new ones. She let her thoughts drift as she awaited further instruction*

Mithos was a lil scared.. he coved his ears with the earmuffs and waited for the whole class to do it.. and for the next instructions..

*Alicia quickly snapped on her earmuffs* "ooow" she said quitley as they pinched her hair.

Hannah put the earmuffs on her hand!
