Astronomy Lesson 5 You ascend into a completely circular room at the top of the highest tower. The walls are completely made of floor to ceiling windows, except a metre wide section for a fire, giving an almost 360 degree view of the surrounds. Accessible through an almost invisible break is the glass is a wide stone balcony that completely encircles the room. There is a charm around the doorway that stops the stinging wind from entering. The room is vast, having been expanded by magic. In it stands a very large and magnificent telescope that can reach even the most distant stars, its lenses pointing out through the glass wall, which actually revolves so that it can be turned any direction. On the balcony stand many smaller telescopes on tripods, and inside are about 30 small wooden desks shaped like stars and moons with very comfortable high backed chairs. They are arranged around a large Mahogany desk shaped like a crescent moon, with a similar chair… Professor Dainsie’s desk. Come on in everyone! |
Anelreas walked into the Astronomy Tower with a smile on her face. She was in a strangely cheerful mood. She took her usual seat and waited for the lesson to commence. |
Kali smiled as she took her seat on one of the chairs. She was glad another lesson was beginning. "Hello Professor," she said as she sat her bag down. |
Meghan wakled in the classroom and sat down in her usual seat. She sighed and took out her stuff. She wasn't feeling herself that day and wondered why. |
Nadia took a seat and waited in some random desk. She said nothing and rather got ready to pay attention to what was to be said. |
Anila walked into class and dropped her bag into a seat. She flashed a smile at the professor, and another at an upset looking Ravenclaw. She hoped the Ravenclaw felt better, but she didn't say anything. |
Bailey walked into the classroom and sat down in a seat near the front of the room. She pulled out her textbook and a quill and looked around while waiting for class to begin. |
*Caroline walks very neatly into the classroom and sits in one of the "very comfortable high backed chairs". She organizes the books on her desk and sits up straight, looking directly at the process.* "How are you, Proffesor?" |
Alex walks into the classroom and walks briskly toward her fellow Ravens. She had seen them in the common room but did not know their names. Taking a seat she gets out her materials. "Hey, I'm Alex. And you guys are?" |
Kay walked into the classroom and sat down next to her fellow Ravenclaws. She took out her Astronomy textbook, a sheet of parchment, and a quill, placing them on the desk in front of her. |
"hello professor" Amy said in the best voice she can as she enters the room. the instant soothing chair starts up as she sits down. "ahh. that hits the spot. I feel better already" Now feeling better, she graps her things and sets them on the cute star desk. |
Sabina entered the classroom and took a seat besides the only Gryffindor in the classroom yet. ''Hi im Sabina?'' she said to the Gryffindor. |
Julia walks into the classroom and takes a seat next to the other Ravenclaws. She sighs and takes out her supplies. She slouches down into her chair and waits patiently for class to start. |
Rosa sat down in the back and got out her astronomy book. she was happy there was an astronomy class again. she flipped through her book and wondered what they were going to do. |

Serena strolled in and took her usual seat, and gazed longingly out at the night sky, wishing she was out there. |
kass walked into the classroom and sat next to rosa |
Lee entered the classroom glad he had something to keep his mind off of things. He still didn't know the means of the relationship between and the student body yet, the SAMMO incident still got to him. |
kass saw lee entered the classroom "hye lee sit over here" she said to him |
Lee feeling a bit sifty nodded to Kass' request. He gathered his thingsand moved down a couple of desks and sat where Rosa and Kass were. He stayed silent eyes front not daring to make any movement. |
kass looked at lee "um lee are you ok?" she asked looking at him oddly |
Lee jumped as Kass began to talk to him "yes fine, totally fine" Lee gavea fake smile and then said "shhhhh! lessons about to start" As he said this he turned his head to the front to face the professor, |
kass watched as lee faced up the front again. she stuck her head in front of his. "well it sure don't look as though your ok" she said as her nose almost touched his. |
Francis waits patiently for the class to start. |
::Erica watched Lee completely spaz at Kassandra's question. He's still acting funny, she thought. Maybe he really does need to talk to someone. She took one of her pieces of parchment and wrote down a note for Lee. Quote:
