You ascend into a completely circular room at the top of the highest tower. The walls are completely made of floor to ceiling windows, except a metre wide section for a fire, giving an almost 360 degree view of the surrounds. Accessible through an almost invisible break is the glass is a wide stone balcony that completely encircles the room. There is a charm around the doorway that stops the stinging wind from entering.

The room is vast, having been expanded by magic. In it stands a very large and magnificent telescope that can reach even the most distant stars, its lenses pointing out through the glass wall, which actually revolves so that it can be turned any direction. On the balcony stand many smaller telescopes on tripods, and inside are about 30 small wooden desks shaped like stars and moons with very comfortable high backed chairs. They are arranged around a large Mahogany desk shaped like a crescent moon, with a similar chair… Professor Dainsie’s desk.

Ok everyone, pile in for the first lesson!

Nadia smiled. "Well that's very kind of you," she said. She knew that was one of her favorite debates: What was beyond beyond. She cruckled at how it sounded.

However, she could also tell many people were already looking too tired, being so late in the night, so she was not hoping for a debate to start any minute now. Nadia decided to wait a little longer to see if a debate started somewhere and if not then go.

She actually had to laugh when Drusilla said that. Guess her fame of being a fatmouth would follow her anywhere. It wasn't surprising, for she was not helping it.

Well, if she wrote as much as she wrote, they would calculate, Nadia would write a lot. And indeed her homeworks were most times a pain to the sight.

Last term we discussed the stars and all the planets in the galaxy, besides eart, which is what the first real lesson will be on.

I had a general plan, but that will change depending on what you guys wanna learn. The first lesson in definately about earth. Now we will also have a discussion on muggle/wizard astronomy, and a lesson on the important figures. If we have time we may start on stars as well...

The discussion will be in one of the lessons. To know how you go on your assignments, check the house points board. After each lesson and piece of homework it will tell you how many points you earned.

*decides that the lesson has ended and walks out. When reaching the door, says something to the professor*

"Well, thank you for a great lesson professor. It sertainly made things clear for me. I'll see you in the next lesson. Good day."

*about to exit and then remembers that she wanted a lolly and gets one. Opens the package and exits the classroom with the lolly in her mouth*

as jenn is almost out of the room she hears lauren ask a question and jenn's know-it-allness kicks in "the professor created a thread about your member number, or you can just click or hover over your name and it's the numbers after the u=... at least... i think it is..." as once again her self-consciousness takes over. She turns her gaze to the floor and quickly walks out.

As I said as part of the introduction, we do not study astrology in this class. This is Astronomy, astrology is more closely linked to Divination. We will however have a discussion on the muggle/wizard aspect of Astronomy.
