He opened his eyes and he looked down.. He was in his hoop well on the edge. It slid and he fell on his butt. He got up and rubbed his butt.. " Oww.. "

Jaren regarded the Headmistress with a polite and solemn nod before, just for practice, disapparating.

Crack!

Ending up in his hoop. Well, at least he had gotten that part down pat.

Nadia stared up, a couple of meters where she and her loop had been earlier and trying to pick herself out from her painful position. But once she had managed to sit in a random, better sitting position, she was still too sore to stand and just... let herself lay over the floor, immovile... at least for a second...

Nadia was at it again. She had somehow managed to fall over and rolle backwards, straight into a wall. I mean, Alex was clumsy as well -- though, she doubted that she was as clumsy as Nadia. No offense meant.

She ran over to the Slytherin girl once again and spoke quietly. "Are you okay?" Alex asked quietly and stared at Nadia in the face. At least her glasses weren't broken, so that was a good thing.

"I think we all need a rest," she remarked to Nadia. "Besides, this was our last attempt before we take a break anyways. We all deserve a break." She did not even bother to help her girl stand up -- on the contrary, she slid down on the wall beside her and closed her eyes, almost falling asleep.

Jaren walked over to where Nadia had collapsed against a wall and regarded her silently for a few moments.

"Concentrate," he said finally. That was her main flaw, whether in duelling or otherwise. She tended to get too distracted.

So, let's make a couple of mental notes. Lack of determination creates "Spinching". Lack of destination sense makes you end in the wrong place. Lack of deliberation makes you spin, which made sense, because Nadia's main problem was the deliberation... and Nadia spun, but why did she happen to spun in 2D, as if doing cartwheels in mid air?!

Groaning out loud, Nadia picked herself up and giving herself a couple of minutes before she had to walk back over to the bloody loop. And she didn't want to, she wanted to just jump in there and made it easier, bloody deliberation step. "I know, and I'm fine," she answered both Alex and Jaren from that spot.

What was deliberation anyways?! Destination was easy, determination was the usual and she couldn't care about --

Crack.

She appeared on the spot before the loop, just as she had wanted to. And then landed on her head. She had apparated upside down over the spot, looking like some ridiculous doll.

Alex stared at Jaren silently before turning her attention back on Nadia. But before she had time to add anything else, Nadia had disapparated again. She tilted her head and blinked at the sight of Nadia -- the seventh year Slythein girl had managed to apparate upside down.

"Nadia ..." she said slowly and stared at the girl, dumbstruck.

At least she wasn't wearing a skirt ...

Nadia lie, down there on the floor, with a massive headache. "I'm fine," she responded, response which was muffled since she was facing the floor. The tone of which statement said nothing to support the idea she was trying to convey.

Slowly, she picked herself up, this time feeling like she had to put extra effort because her head had been glued to the floor like a plunger. She replaced the glasses over her eyes and sat upright, then turned to both Alex and Jaren. Her expression, serious, or showing at the very least exahustion over pain.

She had a very ''Don't. Comment'' expression on her, but you would get that expression too with her headache.

Kate looked around and saw that most people were starting to get it. Her stomach gave a growl that could only mean it was time for dinner, so she looked around for McAiken to signal she was ready to call it a day. She caught his eye, gave him a nod, and then made the announcement, "Okay, everyone, that should be enough practice for one day. Everyone is looking very good considering it's your first times. I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that starting in about 5 minutes, you will no longer be able to apparate any where on Hogwarts grounds, and you would be foolish to try. Also, you cannot apparate in the village, or anywhere else for that matter, until you are 17 and have your license. If you feel you need some more practice before your test, feel free to come see Professor McAiken or I and we can set up a time to practice in Hogsmeade. Have a good day."

Upon hearing the announcement, Nadia got only more resolute to use until the last of the given minutes to keep practicing. She was a little disappointed to hear... well, it was not like she hadn't broke that one before... Nadia sighed.

Giving a mute sign to Alex, Nadia told her she was going to try again and so moved forwards, just so to have the loop in front of her. She stared at the loop hard, as she trying to burn a hole - well, a hole in the hole; it was more like a hole in the floor - and then decided it was there she wanted to get to...

Determination, and that wasn't a thing with her to worry. She had been determined in more dangerous things, right? While she remained concentrated and had that same feeling when trying to create any spell, she should be fine. Finally, deliberation, which sadly she only had when she was furious, didn't she? But if she managed, and didn't spin, if she only got to...

And then she failed again and again and again. Either she apparated in the wrong place, or spinned or appeared on the loop but not standing. She didn't splinch, at least. She kept trying until having no more time, a minute from the last, hoping not to get stuck in between the were-to-be working apparation barrier and a half-managed apparition.

She could think only of a few things as bad or worst than getting stuck into a wall...

breaking her concentration slightly, Nabiya gaped at the antics of her classmates.
Crack! she heard the sound of someone apparating beside her and finally remembered what she was supposed to be doing.

Once more taking the spot 5 feet away frm her hoop, she stared so hard at the inside of the hoop that she could have bored a hole through the floor, Destination.determination.Deliberation. she thought and willed herself to feel her body in the hoop. and Crack!

she opened her eyes tentatively to see where she had landed. looking around her she saw that she was still in the same spot! the crack had been from her neighbour! oh..how embarrassing! she had gotten worse than before!

getting angry at herself now, she stared at the hoop again "destination. Determination. deliberation!" she said out loud instead of thinking it. and Crack! this time she ended up in the hoop! with all parts intact!

"Professor! I did it! finally!" she said excitedly to the passing professor.

Alex sighed. Well, she would defintley need to go for extra lessons .. mind you, she was getting better. She stared at Nadia as she attempted to apparate again ... and failed. At least Nadia wasn't alone.

With a small grunt, she got up and walked over to Nadia. "You're going to see McAiken for extra practice before the test? Or Zoa?"

McAiken saw and heard Zoa. He took his wand and a silvery dragon shot from its end. The tiny dragon flew out of the Great Hall towards the Headmistress' office. McAiken watched as the students gathered their things and began to exit. One all the students were gone McAiken used a series of charms and spell to reset all the benches, tables and chairs in their proper place in the hall. He then waved his wand over his head the banners reappeared. Satisfied that everything was back in the right place McAiken left the hall.
