The whistle has blown and the stands around the Quidditch Pitch have officially been opened. Sir Theodore Puppington or "Spots" has allowed students to begin arriving and filing into the stands to pick out their seats and to begin supporting their teams. Please note that ALL SS rules will apply to the Stands as well. These posts will be moderated and in this case, violations of the rules and any unsportsmanlike actions will be punished not only with the usual warnings, detentions or bannings, but could also cost your team points and even the Match. So, enjoy the Stands, be supportive of your team, be a good sport, be creative, stay warm and watch out for the snitch. | |

-Maura, arriving late at the Quidditch match because she had to finish a bit of homework, calmly makes her way through the stands and takes a seat beside a lonely-looking First Year boy (Gary). The black strands of hair fall around her face in order to block his view, but her emerald green eyes seem to be capable of seeing him. As the Slytherins make yet another goal, Maura adjusts the tie around her neck. "You can't cheer either?" Her voice is lowered to a whisper so that no one else hears her except the First Year.-

Gary sees Maura heading towards him and is rather pleased about this, as she is one of the few in his year, let alone the school, he can talk to.
"No, I'm not very good at cheering...I want our House's team to win, of course, but, well, I'm not really into sports, not even Quidditch, and I just came out here for the fresh air, really...I'll probably go off to the lake or somewhere else interesting soon. I can tell you're not big into cheering either, are you?"
Maura nods. Gary grins a little. "Thought so. I don't know why people think they should make huge fools out of themselves by jumping up and down and shouting themselves hoarse. It's all rather silly, isn't it?"

Birdy eased her way past the Slytherin and Hufflepuff fans to a neutral section of the stadium. Leaning up agains the barrier, she watched the yellow and green blurs streak across the field as she hung on to the commentary over the roars of the crowd.
Then the wistle sounded and Spots began to come down towards the ground. From the roar of approval by the Slytherins and the groans form the yellow-clad fans, Birdy knew the outcome of the match. She eased past the celebrating Slytherins and to the stadium exit.
