| | |  The Stands are CLOSED!!
:ballcap: The whistle has blown and the stands around the Quidditch Pitch have officially been opened. Sir Theodore Puppington or "Spots" has allowed students to begin arriving and filing into the stands to pick out their seats and to begin supporting their teams from Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. Please note that ALL SS rules will apply to the Stands as well. These posts will be moderated and in this case, violations of the rules and any unsportsmanlike actions will be punished not only with the usual warnings, detentions or bannings, but could also cost your team points and even the Match. So, enjoy the Stands, be supportive of your team, be a good sport, be creative, stay warm and watch out for the snitch. | |

:ballcap: Spots floats out from the Locker room to make sure that no students are showing up early for the final Snitch. In accordance with the Headmaster's announcement, the Match has been cancelled and the grounds have to be cleared. He looks around quickly as he senses someone or something watching but doesn't see any thing.
"Well, I guess it will be a while before this place gets used again," he says as he floats through the left goal ring on the south side of the pitch. "It was a long match....too bad we'll never who will win it."
Spots drifts down to the gates and tests the locks to make sure their secure. "Well....I guess that's it." And he floats back up the castle.

The final notice about the future of Quidditch is posted in the stands..... Quote:
Quidditch, as of right now, has been terminated, indefinitely.
Due to cheating, the overwhelming number of complaints, and the harassment of the Quidditch official, the staff has decided to cancel Quidditch for the rest of the term as well as the next one. Whether or not we will have it after that depends on whether or not we can revamp the system to prevent the kind of cheating which has gone on.

Of all 4 houses, Hufflepuff has shown exemplary patience, kindness, and support of our Quidditch official, his judgments, and his rules. We, the staff, give out house points for homework and answering questions correctly in class and we hand out detentions for rule breakers but, we have been remiss in rewarding those houses which show us, the staff, the most respect. Therefore, I am awarding Hufflepuff 1000 points for their sportsmanship. Your excellence in sportsmanship outshines any teams' achievements on the pitch and the staff would like to thank you for it. Congratulations Hufflepuff!!
