HM Hendrik takes the note from Professor Shrine and quickly scans the parchment. His face loses all expression. He hears Sir Puppington speak but is too preoccupied to respond. "We need to all meet in the Staff room immediately...." He fell silent as he stared blankly out over the parchment. Comming to his sense, he quickly dug through one of his desk drawers looking for a certain object. He places the small top like device on his desk, next to the parchment he had just been reading. Nothing. "..interesting..." he thinks. "Now if you will excuse me, I need to see everyone in the Staff room immediately, notify anyone you see on the way. I will make the announcement in the Great Hall." HM Hendrik excuses himself and makes his way to the Great Hall. |
Raven entered the HM Hendriks office and looked around waiting for his arrival. She stopped infront of his desk and sat down in a chair with her orange hair glowing while sh placed her belongings on the side of the chair. |
The Headmaster enters his office to pick up some of the homework to grade. He notices a student sitting, waiting.... "..er..Raven? My word! What happended to you hair?" |
Raven smiled. "I enter the Main Room of the Spirit Room," she said trying not to touch it. "But that isn't the bid issue here. I have to come to you to ask of some questions," she said staring at him still being amused by her hair. "There has been some chattering that the staff is brewing a potion that revies pro-life into life and it is called the Draught of Ephmora," she said trying to pronunce it correctly. She looked at him hoping for a different expression. "I just wanted to know if it was true and if it is true why is such a big deal," she said looking at him. "By the way, some one as wise and modest as you should be tell me the truth," she said bashing her eyes looking at him. He had a emotionless face which was hard to read at the moment. |
Stephanie walks in with a face full of concern and asks, "Headmaster, Professor Bannister has been missing for over a week! Is he alright?" She waits patiently hoping for an answer to the disapearance. |
Elle enters the Professors office, 'I have a question about the classes of this school. If you enter a class when it has already started teachers are allowed to punish you. Is that really necessary? I mean we come late because we weren't, how shall i put it, online. I don't mean to be rude but it is a little unfair' |
(ooc: dan_4_elle, the Professors only punish you if you *announce* you are late. The trick is, when showing up after the thread has started, pretend that you were there all along and just continue the current disccusion. Any other questions?) |

"Oh, alright then," Stephanie then walks out of the office. |

With a slight raise of his eyebrows he said, "If you will excuse me...." as he motioned her to the door. |
ari strode briskly into headmaster hendrik`s office. "headmaster. i was wondering if i could have a word with you." she said quietly |
HM Hendrik graciously nodded, "But of course, what is on your mind, Ari" |
ari look taken aback for a moment. she didn`t recall ever crossing paths with the headmaster before, and she was a bit confused as to how he knew who she was. she just shrugged it off. "oh um. lost my thought for a moment." she said flustered "yeah the other day in the spirit room. for some odd reason i like being a nuisance to other people so took a piece of paper from raven. something to do with the draught of ephira?. . ephmora? something like that." she said dismissively "yeah well she got herself a copy of the ingredients needed to make the potion." |
HM Hendrik looks into Ari's eyes for a moment, trying to see her thoughts...interesting... "I see, and did you happen to see this list of ingredents to this draught?" |
"you know, i didn`t quite care enough to take a thourough look at it, but i won`t deny the fact that i looked at it." she said honestly "buuuuut it doesn`t really matter now. ." she claims |
"I see," he said still looking directly into her eyes. There was something about her he couldn't quite place. It was probally the fact that so many students were discussing the Draught of Ephmera, how he had wished that things had been kept quieter. But still there was something in her eyes.... "Is there anything else you have to tell me Ari?" |
ari raised her eyebrow in mild amusement. "like what?" she asked with a slight laugh |
HM Hendrik smiled at Ari for a moment before he responded. "Hmm...all right then. Thank you for informing me about Raven, now off you go." HM Hendrik watches as Ari leaves his office and loses himself in deep thought about this recent visit and turn of events. |
"see you around headmaster." she said leaving |
HM Hendrik returns to his office after getting the necessary supplies from Professor Airlia. He knows he has to start preparing the ingredents for what they were planing but his heart was heavy at the thoughts of what could happen if things were to go wrong. He placed a fine sive over a bowl and dumped the armadillo bile onto it. "There, that should strain out of the dregs, should take some time...awfully thick stuff this bile. I'll check on this later today to see how it's comming along." Slowly he placed the unicorn horn in a mortarand began to grind it into a fine power with the pestle. As he ground the horn, large bits of it began to break off. He removed the larger pieces from the mortar, setting them aside and continued grinding the smaller ones into dust. Every so often, he added more bits of the unicorn horn to the mortar. When he thought he had enough unicorn horn powder, he carefully took out his scale and weighed the power. "Hmmmm...let's see...I need about 94 grams...." He looked at the scale. It read 90.2 g. "Just a bit more...." He took a few of the smaller pieces, ground them into a fine powder and added it to the scale, "...92.8 grams...just a bit more....ah! There! 93.6 grams of unicorn horn powder." He carefully wrapped the rest of the horn in a piece of cloth and placed it in a pocket of his robe. He then added the powder to one of his cauldrons and placed it on a high shelf in his office to await the addition of the armadillo bile. *mumbling to himself* "...let's hope this doesn't fall into to wrong hands....have to ensure she remains safe...." |
HM Hendrik checks on the armadillo bile once again before he heads out to Professor Bannister's office. She had a certain object that they needed to discuss... |
Jaren headed towards the Headmaster office, wanting to ask him an idle question about the HIT and whether another would be planned, but when he reached the closed door, he heard the sound of pounding, as if something was being ground into a powder, and a low murmuring. This stuck him as rather curious. Why would the Headmaster be doing that... The noises stopped, followed by footsteps to the door. Jaren wisely decided to duck out of sight, and watched as the headmaster left the office for some other destination. When the headmaster was out of sight, Jaren came out of his hiding place, paused for a moment, then decided to head in the same direction. Looks like his question would have to wait... |
HM Hendrik returned to his office carrying the small wooden box given to him by Professor Bannister. He placed his medallion inside the box and sealed it with a special charm to ensure no one could open it. He walked over to a spot beside one of the windows and tapped on an oddly shaped stone three times mumbling something under his breath. A hidden compartment opened up and he placed the box inside. Once inside the stone reappeared. He walked over to check on the armadillo bile. "There, that should do it....no more dregs. I'll just add this to the cauldron....now where did I put it...I know!" As HM Hendrik reached for the cauldron the creature in the corner tank became aggitated again. "Oh, I almost forgot! Sorry about that, a growing boy needs to eat! Here have a nice healthy horseshoe crab." He walked over to the tank with the horseshoe crabs in it and took out a rather large one and carefully lifted the tarp and tossed it in. As before, the creature in the tank aggressivelytook the horseshoe crab, devoured it and settled back down. "Hahaha! With all that blue blood in thoses crabs, one would think you are royalty!" He carefully took the cauldron from the shelf and placed it on his desk. He then took the armadill bile and gently added it to the cauldron. "One would think we could develop a spell that would make this stuff smell a bit better!" He then carefully stired the contents of the cauldron. As the two ingredents mixed, a grey-sparkling paste formed. "Now to get this to Professor Bannister...." He levitated the cauldron, left his office, and made his way down the halls of the castle. |
"Excuse me Headmaster" Lily said having not seen him in a year or so since her mother took her away and placed her in a horrible muggle school. "I was just told that there will be no cheerleading this year, I've come to ask why." She and Carolina were upset since they had worked so hard to keep the squad intact and after all they had done making plans and making up cheers so that the squad could come back this term better then ever. All that time was wasted and now they were left with old plans and no squad. She gave him a sweet yet upset look, she was very good at making facial expressions, but so was Headmaster Hendrik. |
Aph ran into the headmaster's office. "Excuse me professor...I...uh...I was just down at the shrieking shak with a friend...I guess someone was inside....but I noticed someone preform a spellinside....my friend Alex said it was the Killing curse...But I'm not sure....but...uh......I wasn't too sure what to do about it....so...uhm..." She bit her bottom lip again and shifted her weight from one foot to the other, her typical signs of uncertainty. |
