:ballcap: because both teams responded with only the first name of Marietta (Edgecombe) I will accept the Chaser from Gryffindor's answer since it was first....in the future however, when asking for any names, I would prefer first and last names if they have them......... "and Gryffindor scores!!!!!! giving them 30 points to Ravenclaw's 80. The next questions will go to Ravenclaw."  Quaffle question to Ravenclaw: Who healed Hedwigs wing when she hurt it in OotP?

"once again the same chaser for Gryffindor has trouble holding on to the Quaffle and they drop it just before shooting and do not score... (the falcon) so the score remains the same.....and the next question goes to.....wait I see Sir Spots raising his hands....."
:ballcap: Ladies and Gentlemen, I think that this will conclude tonight's play, I want to thank the Captain's and players from both teams for their sportsmanship and good play......
The match will continue throughout the day tomorrow and on for several days I expect.....thank you and goodnight......the score at the end of the first day of the match is Ravenclaw 80 and Gryffindor 30.

:ballcap: Spots comes back out on to the Pitch to find that most of the student body hadn't left yet.
"I have some information that I need to announce about the last couple of questions, the Quaffle question to Ravenclaw (Who healed Hedwig's wing?) was answered not only incorrectly by Gryffindor but by their chaser not their Keeper therefore this was an out of position answer that I warned about earlier and the team from Gryffindor will be penalized 25 points making the score at the end of the match 80-5 in favor of Ravenclaw. Captains again I MUST stress that only the players in the correct positions can answer or attempt to answer the questions.
It was also brought to my attention that I asked two Ravenclaw Quaffle questions in a row near the end of today's play, which was a mistake by me and since no one scored in the mix up I will let it stand as is and do better job tomorrow of keeping track."
