:ballcap: "yes, thank you, first of all I would like to congratulate both teams on such a hard fought match, I can truley say that this has been the longest match in school history taking up to, at this point, over 34 hours of online time. It is due to the fact that we need to move on in our term and have a winner and to get beyond the stalemate that has occured with the loophole in the rules on the Snitch questions that I make the following announcement.
Since Gryffindor is now within 145 points of Ravenclaw:
At 8pm tonight I will ask 1 Snitch question and the first Seeker from either team to answer it correctly in what ever order will win the match for their team and the appropriate points. Good luck to both teams....." Spots

HM Hendrik rushes out onto the Quidditch Pitch with a look of dire concern on his face. He looks up above seeing both teams wizzing about on their brooms, points his wand at his throat saying, "Sonorus!"
"Attention, Attention all students and Staff!
Due to recent events I deem it no longer safe to continue this match. Everyone should return to the castle immediately. I am closing the stands and locker room. No one is to remain in the Quidditch Pitch. No student is to venture outside of the castle without a Staff escort. This includes all school grounds.
I repeat! No Students are allowed outside of the castle until futher noticed!"
HM Hendrik pointed his wand at his throat again and said, "Quietus."

On the magical board over the pitch the invisble pen starts writing the following announcement. Quote:
Quidditch, as of right now, has been terminated, indefinitely.
Due to cheating, the overwhelming number of complaints, and the harassment of the Quidditch official, the staff has decided to cancel Quidditch for the rest of the term as well as the next one. Whether or not we will have it after that depends on whether or not we can revamp the system to prevent the kind of cheating which has gone on.

Of all 4 houses, Hufflepuff has shown exemplary patience, kindness, and support of our Quidditch official, his judgments, and his rules. We, the staff, give out house points for homework and answering questions correctly in class and we hand out detentions for rule breakers but, we have been remiss in rewarding those houses which show us, the staff, the most respect. Therefore, I am awarding Hufflepuff 1000 points for their sportsmanship. Your excellence in sportsmanship outshines any teams' achievements on the pitch and the staff would like to thank you for it. Congratulations Hufflepuff!!
