Here is where all quidditch related discussion can take place.
Well, Clare doesn't want to be captain any more. I talked with her earlier and she just can't do it, shes busy and it takes a lot of time and commitment. If some former quidditch players could PM me? And make a recommendation for a captain or step up to the plate, it would be grateful. If I get multiple submissions for the position I will talk with Clare and choose the best suitable one. I answered that last chaser question and thankfully my answer matches Riiya's so we should get the points. The Chaser spots are full but if anyone cannot make a game, or even wants to change positions (not me but...) I do think Riiya should take their place she has been answering all the questions and would be an excellent chaser.
There's a Beater question up there now, Beaters! Also Spots has said the Snitch will appear between 7-11 PM East Coast Time and play will resume then. (Yay that's my timezone!  )

Just wanted to say that we all played a WONDERFUL game. Unfortunately we all live in different time zones so it is hard to all be on at once. Hopefully next time we will kick Gryffindor or Raveclaw's butts : )

Sorry to be so late getting back to you guys. After the match I needed some time to myself. I have talked to Spot, and we will probably be playing another match with the losers of the Gryffindor/Ravenclaw match. I will let you know the day and time when Spot tells me. In the meantime would you'll like to get some practice in? Also Riiya has suggested we create a team signature for all team members to use. I have some ideas, but I haven't had the time to get a working model made. Stardancer488 has offered to create a new thread to display and discuss making signatures. Let me know what you think, so I can ask her to make one. Everyone did a fantastic job during the match. This was the best showing Hufflepuff has had since I've been playing Quidditch. You'll made me very proud to be you'll captain. One more thing concerning the signatures, everyone can submit a signature for the team to consider. I'm not very good with computer graphics so I welcome the help.

Sorry I wasn't here for a while. I had a lot less time during Moving, and then we had to set up the Computer again, and get Internet access.
But anyway, I'm thinking about trying out for Beater (Is Beater #2 still open?) so keep an eye open.

I just wanted to let you guys know, that you guys have been doing a great job. The hufflepuff spirit thread is open, so you guys know. I will make somethings if you guys need anything, I made banner for HIT champions last term. (Is obsessed with graphics <IMG class=inlineimg title=">_ä)
I also wanted to let you guys know, that I am glad to hear that you have given Sir Spots no trouble with the matches, unlike other teams. Thank-you for your corporation, it puts a good name to are quidditch team! As always keep up the good work.

OOC: I'm sorry to disappoint you and your hard work but, an announcement was made yesterday in the OOC forum which many people seemed to have glanced over. For this reason, I am posting a copy of the notice in each of the Common Rooms. Quote:
Quidditch, as of right now, has been terminated, indefinitely.
Due to cheating, the overwhelming number of complaints, and the harassment of the Quidditch official, the staff has decided to cancel Quidditch for the rest of the term as well as the next one. Whether or not we will have it after that depends on whether or not we can revamp the system to prevent the kind of cheating which has gone on.

Of all 4 houses, Hufflepuff has shown exemplary patience, kindness, and support of our Quidditch official, his judgments, and his rules. We, the staff, give out house points for homework and answering questions correctly in class and we hand out detentions for rule breakers but, we have been remiss in rewarding those houses which show us, the staff, the most respect. Therefore, I am awarding Hufflepuff 1000 points for their sportsmanship. Your excellence in sportsmanship outshines any teams' achievements on the pitch and the staff would like to thank you for it. Congratulations Hufflepuff!!
