In a corner of the Gryffindor Common room next to the large portrait of the Quidditch Cup that Gryffindor captured several years back, you can hear a faint sound as if the large crowd in the painting was still cheering the victory. A ghostly figure appears wearing the charred, scarlet and gold uniform of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team.

“Welcome Gryffindors,” the figure says, “I am Theodore “Spots” Puppington. My teammates nicknamed me “Spots” saying that, as the seeker, I could spot the snitch from a mile away. I was the Gryffindor Quidditch team seeker a few years back when we won the cup, this cup in fact,” as he signaled to the portrait behind him. “I remember holding up the snitch in my hand to celebrate our victory when I saw a flash of light and heard a loud bang. My teammates said I was hit by a tremendous bolt of lightning, which would explain these charred marks on my uniform.

Evidently, my love for Quidditch and flying was enough that I didn’t pass on , so I now haunt the Classrooms, Halls and the Quidditch pitch at Hogwarts as your House Ghost looking for my former Team. I still have the snitch I caught in my hand,” he says, holding up the small golden-winged ball tightly grasp in his left hand.

"As you may have heard as we gathered the other night after the opening feast, I will be teaching flying lessons and officiating the Quidditch matches this term. I hope to see many of you there."

“Please feel free to ask me questions, I shall try to answer them as best as I can, or greet me whenever you see me on the grounds. Remember to support our team this term or if you feel you have the drive and the talent, try out for the team yourself. Good luck and welcome to Gryffindor.”

:Kelli runs into the room and sees Spots:

Hey! I've missed you all summer. How are you Spots?

:Kelli sits down on the couch:

Feesha walks in "hey there Spots and congrats on your tempory position! How has your summer been? I got to go to a quidditch camp for most of the summer we travelled all around Canada helping teach players and practice ourselves, it was awsome, can't wait for the season to start this term, we're definatly going for the cup."

Hi again, (Remember me? Bet you don't) this is my 2nd year at Hogwarts, and I'm looking to win the House and Quidditch Cups.

"Hi spots" says christian, "when will we be learning to ride brooms?"

-Sophie Walks into the common room-

"Hey Spots! It's good to see you again. Looking forward to the new term?"

-sits down happily-

Oh I had a great summer! Got a new broom, so I've been riding it around a lot. Also took some private lessons on my keeper position, and hope it helps this year.

:smiles and looks around the room:

It's great that you are a professor now Spots, your class will be awesome!

Spots smiles at Adam, "of course I remember you, I remember all of the students who pass through these halls......welcome back and yes I too hope Gryffindor will not only win the House cup again but add to it the Quidditch Cup."

Hi Spots! I'm only a first year but I'm sure it will be fun having you around. Anyone who likes quidditch as much as you is ok with me.

Yeah, I did Quidditch last year. It's pretty tough and I had to be online all the time.
One thing I learnt:
1. NEVER EDIT YOUR POST for any reason, even if your little brother comes in and types things on the keyboard randomly like this (dglkhjyotvbdfzreltu), how will you prove it to the referee?

Spots, do you have any recordings of your old games? I want to show them to the reserve team, see if it might help them learn a thing or two.

I was joking. I still reckon it was a poor decision though.

Spots turns to Kelli and gives a great sigh, "alas, my dear, as you should know those types of devices don't work here at Hogwarts. I have read accounts from some of the writers that attended several of the matches. I do believe some of them are still in our Library. I also remember someone telling me that the Daily Prophet ran a piece on that fateful game giving great detail to the incident. You may want to check with them to see if that will help....."
