Default Lesson 3

Bree opens her door to her classroom once again, the curtains are blowing gently in the breeze, the room is slightly cool, but the fireplace is glooming slightly in the corner. As usual you see your arithmancy professor sitting her chair behind her desk waiting to begin class....

*hannah, after reading and listening to the explainations, attempts the calculations.*
month=4(april), day=3(30) and year=9(1989)
pinnacle 1 = month + day = 4 + 3 = 7
" 2 = date + year = 2 + 9 = 13 = 3
" 3 = p1 + p2 = 7 + 4 = 11
" 4 = month + year = 4 + 9 = 13 = 4
is this right?

"The seasons, just represent your life, I am not sure rather you have ever heard how spring is birth and summer is young adult, fall is adult, and winter is old, it kind of goes along with it's a new year so your born, then towards the end of the year (winter) your old, it in a way represents your life, just like the pinnacles, pinnacle 1 is from birth to somewhere in the higher twenties to mid thirties."

Bree paused as Nadia asked another question... "Well I have heard of it, but as far as I know it's the same thing. By adding your month and day you would get the same thing, and as far as I know you can't multiple the same thing twice and get two different answers, I will be sure to make a note to get some more information on that though."

Bree walked over to her book shelf and grabbed the arithmancy book that they were using and opened it to the chart page... and with a swich of her wand magnified it and had it refelct into the empty space in the front of her room, near her desk. "Ok, see how the numbers go in order when going across... for ONE life path number, well when you add your different pinnacles, you will be under different sections therefore getting different numbers so you may jump from a number 1 to 8 and have years inbetween, more or less, those years are considered passing time, time where you pass from the one pinnacle to the next, during this period of time you may experience a mix of both pinnacles..."

She turned and face Catherine "The ages are just the time frame in which each pinnacle will happen so if your pinnacle is 5, the time during which those certain experiences will happen is from the ages 0-31ish. Make sense?"

Professor, I have more of a comment than a question. I did some extra research on pinnacle numbers and found a very interesting book I thought you might be interested in.

"A mix, I see." Nadia nods and smiles, "Thanks professor! That's pretty much it^^ It makes sense, it's quite interesting indeed Thanks for your patience with me, I know I'm being too talkative."

Nadia peeks at Aixla's book and frowned, "That's the second time Mercury has appeared as my planet. Mmh, might take it into consideration, I always thought I was one to be more... Saturn's... Anyway, that sounds interesting -" *meaning the book*

Nadia felt like her day was starting to seem more bright. Somewhat she only needed some time... ^^

Doing a little more digging.

"Hhm. This is interesting."

The positive five- Prosperity, growth, vision, orator, adventure, movement, travel, optimism and hope and mercy.

The negative five- Over optimistic, Over indulgence, No rules, Need to grow up, No self control.

Aixla mumbles to herself. "That makes alot of sense, put in context of the ... well ... text. Positive and negative aspects of the number."

She decided to speak up. "Professor, does that mean that any of the pinnacle numbers are 'better' than any of the others? I mean, is there like a progression of them; 1 grows into 2 into 3 etc? Or are they just different but equal, like personality types in muggle psychology?"

Excuse me, professor, but I still don't understand what that means. Could you explain it again?

"hm... I haven't looked much into that, but I don't think one number is FAR greater then another, there just the way your life is leading a bit, or what to expect, each one as there pluses and negatives, and we need to accept the face that in life we have our ups and downs, I would relay on, that all numbers are basically equal though, that a single number does not stand out of the rest, as the great and powerful number, understand?"

Bree looked at her watch... "Oh my, look at the time, I must get... going. Thank you for another great class, if you have any questions stop by my office, i'll be more then glad to help you out." she said smiling... "OH! Nadia, a word in my office, if you have a spare 5 minutes and don't mind".
