amy scratches her head in confusion. "this is all confusing, i'm more familiar w/ the american muggle school system. but it's also interesting to know more of the uk's system." |
"I don't suppose the UK is too much different than us, rather, I'd think it a bit easy. They don't have all the different names for things such as we do, do they? At eleven don't you leave primary school and go on to your First Year, on to your Seventh, I beleive?" Ashlie asked patiently. |
Ah well, I guess it can get pretty mixed up if you're used to a certain system. But I think it's only the names of years that have changed, but basically, most educational systems have grade school, high school, and college in them. |
*Sarah looked at Ashlie* Yes, that's right. *Sarah started to doodle smilies in the corners of her pages* |
"Hm...I suppose that for UK classes, we just have to study it a little more. Things that are foreign to us don't always come naturally." She looked down at her list of what the Professor had said and she'd copied down. "I suppose it will come to me in time...." |
Does anybody know how the college system in England work because I would love to study at Cambridge University. |
I was wondering about that too^ Ive always thought it would be really cool to go to university in the UK. |
Funny you should ask. Your homework for this class is as follows: Please investigate the college and/or university system in both America and England. Include admission requirements for 3 schools in each country, length of study for a few programs at one school in each country and your options after completing your course of study. This homework is due Wednesday, December 1, 2004 @ 11:59pm EST. Please send it to professor_evans_office@hotmail.com. Include your member name, house and member number for credit. I will not chase anyone for this information, if it is not included you will receive no marks. |
