She pulls out her napsack, and grabs a new roll of parchment and her brother's old quill. She smiled from Afton back to Jill.
"Well Afton, I haven't seen you much lately since you're in Gryffindor. Maybe sometime we could hang out."
She began to write something down, making a loud sound of a scratching quill. She looked over at all the unfamiliar faces from other houses.
"Muggle clothing doesn't seem all that interesting. I mean, well....you know what I mean."

~Mia walks into the classroom and waves as she sits near Afton as she waves at her~

"This class should be great, even tho I am muggle-born, I love fashion!!"
She thinks to herself as she pulls out a Quill and few sheets of Parchment from her bag.

*smiled to the students that come in and waited patiently for the class to begin*
Muggles studies...hmmm..interesting. Muggles are so weird, especially their clothes. How can they wear those colorful clothes.
*she thought to herself while she waited*

"sure we can Hannah. i go down to the lake alot, mayb there?"

Pandah inters the class room and takes a seat behind afton and taps her on the back.
"Hi afton"

-turns around-
"Hey! How have you been? i cant wait till class starts"

Josh walks in and sits in one of the desks, and takes out his quill, ink, and parchment

Megan smiles nervously at the girl nxt to her. She has never writtin with a quill before and trys to write a neat title. This proves to b unsucsessful and she trys to casually clean her hand in her robe without everyone noticing the mess she has made. As other students write quickley and scribble away, megan desperatly trys to write but the quill is prove far from difficult to use than she imagined.

Serena sat quietly thinking to herself, "This could be really fascinating. Looking back through history the styles for muggle clothing have changed dramatically! You can visit any muggle museum and see artwork dating back for centuries that shows how clothes are a form of artwork for some."

Shannon walks into the classroom, looking for familiar faces. She sees some people she recognizes from the Ravenclaw common room, and sits down in a seat near them. "Muggle clothing? This should be interesting..."

*Sarah walked into the classroom and sat in the seat she had used last year and took out her things and put them on her desk*

Looks like an interesting lesson.

Francis, who had already been taking notes, notices Shannon, Ashlie, and Raven. Smiling, she waves at them, while trying to take notes at the same time.

Shannon smiles and waves back to Francis while taking parchment and a quill out of her bag. "How's this for muggle clothing?" she whispers to Francis, as she slips off her shoe and lifts her robe a little. Underneath, she was wearing blue striped toe socks with a little face stitched into the end of each toe.

Sativa pulls her hair back into a ponytail and opens her books, *annoying quills* she mutters * why can't we study muggle writing utensils?*

As she attempts to write, a blob of ink escapes and drips into her book. *Merlin's beard! why does everything have to start out crummy* she thinks as she looks around, hoping no one saw her making a fool of herself.

Francis giggles at Shannon's socks. She had never seen anything like that. "Ooh!! That's really good!!! Where did you get that?! They look so amusingly funny!!"

Francis raises her hand. Waiting patiently for the teacher to acknowledge her.

Then, she answers: "A corset comes from the Old French word: cors meaning body, as well from the Latin word corpus which means body.
