Gryffindor Table

For those who belong in Gryffindor House, on the left side of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Red banners containing an embroidered golden lion float above the polished table in honour of the brave Godric Gryffindor. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages.

Though your stomach might be growling as you take a seat on one of the long benches next to the table, it is important to not get hangry -- gnawing your arm away or jabbing your fork repeatedly on the surface of the table will do no good whatsoever. Give everyone some time to get settled in and wait for Headmaster Winterbottom to deliver his speech. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates or those who are visiting from the other tables until it is time to sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves.

Open!

Rose entered the great hall, and took a seat at the lions table after waving a greeting to Emma over at the badgers table. Rose was glad that everything was back to normal colour's again, not just herself, but also the whole castle. The greyness had been scary and depressing. Rose hadn't felt like herself for a long while with the weird accent and the monchrome tones, not just her clothes but her skin too. Tugging open her satchel she brought out an edition of teen witch weekley and started to read while she waited for other lions to arrive.

While one might be just a little bit disappointed that their house didn’t win the house cup, Nadia couldn’t be too sad about how things had played out this term. After all, Gryffindor had won the Quidditch cup with HER playing on the team for once. That alone made her smile brightly in excitement as she made her way through the Great Hall doors towards the lion table. Plus she could certainly be happy for her brother and his fellow snakes for their hard work.

And the colors…any colors…looked wonderful .

“Hey,” Nadia greeted a younger housemate seated nearby with a smile as she finally settled into a spot of her own. Her eyes briefly flickering around the Great Hall for familiar faces that might have arrived s0 far.
