A very beautiful wood, highly prize, and surprisingly lethal - depending, of course, on the witch or wizard who wielded it. No bad wands, et cetera, et cetera. "An excellent wand for healing spells, binding spells, and divination, plus it has an affinity for the earth element and all relating to it. It's also said that the cherry wand helps to keep its bearer 'down to Earth' - this wand wood in particular requires those with self-control and a strong will, and so the wand does its part by helping to keep its wielder grounded." Given the power in that wood, matching them to eleven-year-olds could be something of a risk, but Zeke felt certain it was not have chosen this boy to wield it if he were not - or did not have the potential to be - capable, regardless of how quiet he was on the outside. In any case, the core did temper things somewhat. "Unicorn hair cores make for very faithful wands, and the magic they produce is very reliable; generally they don't make for the most powerful magic, but you may find the wood gives your spells all the oomph you could want. With this core, your wand is well suited to charms, transfigurations, and, again, healing magic."

PERSONALITY TYPE: ??? DETAILED PERSONALITY: While Gilly is one who can be known for leading with her head, Drake’s decisions all tend to be more emotionally based. He is warm towards all he encounters, though his favorite people forever remain his family - specifically his mother and barely older sister. Meeting new people is one of his favorite things to do (even if it also makes him nervous), and while his sister generally seems disinterested - Drake does his best to draw her out of her shell so people can love her just as much as he does. While generally tender hearted, for things he deems important he can be particularly rooted in his beliefs and refuse to back down.
Generally an optimistic young man, Drake can also be what some would refer to as a ‘cry baby’, truly helping him lean into his given name. Although, his shrieks are not nearly as loud as the potted plant. He prefers to be a quieter crier, and does try his best to keep it visible from anyone but those closest to him.

HISTORY:
Mandrake Beery and his twin sister, Gillyweed, were the product of what he could only describe to be a great romance between his parents Oceanus and Juniper Beery, stopped only by the tragedy that was his father being lost at sea so close to the birth of the twins. Neither Drake or Gilly ever got to meet their dad, but their mother was diligent in telling them stories that certainly seemed like they had. And even despite their not having known their father, there was never a lack of love to be found in what was bestowed on the twins. After the death of Oceanus, Juniper had moved the family from their residence in Mykonos, Greece, to be with her parents in the UK. Their grandparents were just as forthcoming in doting on the pair, and Drake recalls having had a fairly happy childhood.
It was a sad day for the boy when they moved out of his grandparents home and into their own little apartment. He missed living with them already and cried often, despite the fact they’d still see them. Change was hard for the boy to adapt to, but as he was enrolled in St. Woboldo’s school with Gilly and began to make friends, the ache for what was previously familiar dulled as he got used to a new type of normal.
Being a product of both land and water, Drake found he and Gilly both had a certain affinity and interest in the worlds to do with those elements - with Drake perhaps a greater interest in land while Gilly seemed to prefer the depths of water. Once the pair had turned 11 and received their Hogwarts letters, all Drake can think of now is how much fun he’ll have at the school’s greenhouses and the upcoming herbology classes.
SPOILER!!: Year One at a Glance
First year at Hogwarts! At sorting, Drake watched his twin and best friend both be sorted into Slytherin while he believed firmly he’d end up in Hufflepuff. Very saddened by this, when it was his turn to sit on the stool he begged and pleeaaaaaded with the hat to sort him into Slytherin as well. The hat was reluctant at first, but ultimately decided the boy had enough underlying traits that his preference could be taken into consideration. And Slytherin it was! First night, he and Ary pushed their beds together so that they could stay up late and talk about their homesickness and that’s how it stayed for the rest of the term. Drake’s first term was a fairly calm one, having escaped any mirror debacles. Summer was busy with plenty of friend hang outs, including a visit to Aryan’s home to see the reserve.

This is a handsome wood possessed of unusual versatility and adaptability. Walnut, more often than not, will match well with over-achieving, highly intelligent individuals. They are often found in the hands of magical inventors, and those who are adept at fusing creativity with intelligence, resulting in ground-breaking magical innovation. It is good for cleansing and purification spells, and dispelling and reversal magic. Walnut has a feminine and intuitive energy, which allows for Witches and Wizards both to hone their insight and understanding of difficult magical concepts. Walnut amplifies focus and intent. If the wielder is brilliant enough, this wand will perform any task its owner desires. Walnut is therefore a lethal wand in the hand of an owner of no conscience, as the wand and wizard may feed from each other in an unhealthy way.
Streeler
Wands with a core of Streeler shell are notoriously difficult to make, but achievable by the most skilled and fastidious in the profession. The wandmaker must be certain all traces of toxic slime are removed before combining it with the wood, at which point the wood may still reject the core (this is more likely in some woods than others). This wand is surprisingly well suited to Herbological endeavours, in spite of its vegetation-killing poisonous trail, and is also superb for Transfiguration and for use in potion-making. The individual matched to a Streeler wand core is most likely highly independent and self-sufficient with a tendency towards self-preservation. Streeler core wand owners are often those who have problems getting along well with others, though this is not always the case.

The relationship between Juniper Beery and Oceanus Katsaros was a chance encounter that resulted in love at first sight. Despite the unlikely odds of their paths ever crossing, fate brought them together when Juniper, a Ministry worker, travelled to Greece to research and Oceanus, a seafarer, offered a discounted fare to use his ship. As Juniper explored the beauty of Greece, she couldn't help but be drawn to Oceanus, who was immediately captivated by her stunning appearance and captivating presence. He was smitten the moment he laid eyes on her, likening her to a Siren. Their initial acquaintance quickly evolved as their mutual admiration and attraction grew. In no time, their relationship had transformed, like a Kelpie, into something much deeper.
Months after her work-related excursion had ended, Juniper and Oceanus decided to extend their travels. They spent their time exploring the Mediterranean Sea and its rich diversity of plant life. The two adventurers were drawn to the beauty and serenity of the islands, and eventually found themselves settling down in the picturesque town of Mykonos. Juniper found work in a local floral shop, where she honed her skills and became known for her creative and unique arrangements. Meanwhile, Oceanus offered his seafaring services as a guide to anyone eager to explore the waters. Despite the lack of a formal marriage and financial stability, the couple was content in their simple lifestyle and were even contemplating starting a family. Little did the couple know that two seeds had been planted already as Juniper was unexpectedly pregnant with twins.
Fate, however, had other plans in mind for the two lovers: one day Oceanus went out to sea and never returned. For days Juniper waited, eager to share with her partner her latest discovery that had nothing to do with plants or fungi. The good news of her pregnancy was overshadowed though when a sailor knocked on her door weeks later to inform her that Oceanus and a group of cryptozoologists had been found. The sailor revealed that the vessel had been struck by a violent tempest, with gale force winds and towering waves battering the ship beyond repair and leaving no survivors. The news of Oceanus' death left Juniper devastated and heartbroken. Despite her overwhelming sadness, she found solace in the fact that she was carrying his children and felt a sense of comfort knowing that a part of him would always remain with her.
Juniper was filled with a mix of emotions as she welcomed the arrival of her twins, Gillyweed Artemis and Mandrake Apollo. Gillyweed had hair that was unruly and wild, reminiscent of a slimy rat tail, while Mandrake's cries and screams echoed through the night, causing Juniper much distress. Months after her experience of giving birth to her two children, Juniper was faced with the daunting reality of being a single mother. The pressure of supporting herself and two newborns became too much, and she realised she needed help. With nowhere else to turn, Juniper returned to her childhood home in Devon, England, to seek the support of her parents. With their help, Juniper was able to get back on her feet, and the three of them soon moved to a small apartment in London. Despite the challenges they faced, Juniper was determined to give her children the best life possible and she knew they would be able to make it through together.
Gillyweed and Mandrake were always like two sides of a coin – they complemented each other yet were unique in their own ways. The family, especially Juniper, considered them as a package deal, always together. Growing up, the twins shared almost everything – from their clothes to their classes and friends. But as they grew older, their individuality started to take shape, and their temperaments became more distinct. Gillyweed was known for her melancholic personality, often seen with a serious expression, whereas Mandrake was the life of the party, always cheerful and optimistic. Despite their differences, the bond between the twins has remained strong.

His father was deeply affected by his wife's death, that it affected his ability to cherish his son as much as he should have. Their relationship has been on the rocks for most of his life, but he knew no different and got on with it.
He attended wizarding primary school where he often got into trouble with the teachers, mostly for doing things unintentionally, and not paying attention. Solomon has struggled to achieve things academically through his previous school years.
In recent years, Solomon has shown an interest in seeking out his extended family, but hadn't gone too much into that yet (mostly because he didn't know where to start). He has also been heavily interested in potion making and wand work, choosing these to practice as opposed to sports or clubs, although he did enjoy a game of Gobstones and was pretty good at it.
Solomon is generally a very friendly and loyal friend, although usually expresses his annoyance quite vocally, or you can just tell by his grumpy demeanour. Solomon finds it hard to keep his thoughts managed, which causes him to struggle with staying focused on something. He is very easily distracted and teachers wondered at his old school if he had ADHD, although his father didn't entertain the idea or seek any kind of help.
Solomon has a cheeky side and likes to make people laugh and smile, which he often does. He doesn't do well with heavy feelings and will usually bottle up any that creep up on him.

Short Description: In a few simple words, Archie could be described as the innovative go-getter type. Always practically putting himself out there and in the center of things, he never turns down an opportunity to have the spotlight on himself. It can almost be too much to a point where a lot of people would consider the teen as cocky; even more would say his ambition will be the death of him. Extremely witty with a gift of the gab. If things seem to be taking a turn for the worse, Archie is not afraid to step in and lead a group to get things done. But with this being said, he’s not a ‘it’s my way or the highway’, and will always allow said people to get from point A to point B in whichever way it would please them most; so long as point B was inevitably reached.
For most of his life, it was spent in a relative amount of lavishness and luxury.
Growing up in not necessarily an extremely wealthy family, however they were far from being considered impoverished, things went pretty smoothly. There wasn’t really any complaints given Archibold’s Pureblooded heritage either. Knowing Magic existed and was very much a real thing played an integral part within his life. Obviously, he couldn’t go around casting spells left and right, but just getting to rest upon this knowledge was simply enough as it was.
However, that wasn’t to say that he went life scot-free, he just didn’t let those moments shape his life in a negative kind of light. For example, due to the family always having magic, there was a sense of laziness for the simpler tasks sometimes. His mother went so far as to get one of those permanently enchanted quills so she didn’t have to actually go about writing her books herself. So, instead, he made it his goal to be consistently doing things and being productive. Likewise, due to their wealth, there was an air of privilege surrounding most of them and they tended to lean towards things that stuck to social norms of the upper-class wizarding world. His father, Rory, was the prime candidate for this. Typically calling those of less wealth, paupers, or other demeaning terms. This is what made the future Slytherin shy away from doing the very thing, as he didn’t necessarily see his father doing it as a ‘cool’ thing to do, and instead, he’d mostly only see the negative impact in which it had on those people being labeled as such.
Even through all that though, there was nothing but love for his family as much as they loved him. If there was one genuine complaint which carried up until this point, it was because of an incident with his younger brother, Finlay. Being the older brother, Archie made a point to lightly poke and jest towards the younger sibling. And one day, while the both of them were away at boarding school, he had went slightly overboard with some of the comments. What happened next was entirely an accident, and even back then Archie did come to that understanding as well. But long story short, the pencil that Finlay was holding found it’s way being lodged in the right hand of the older brother. It was a whole scene at the boarding school where both of them had almost been expelled, sparking a sense of rebellion deep down within the young lad. Because while all the teachers were still trying to paint Finlay as being a bad person for it, Archie didn’t agree in the slightest. If it wasn’t for his cleverness, it was almost certain that the two of them would have been let go of from the school.
Nevertheless, when he was 11, he finally got the long-awaited acceptance letter into the prestigious school, Hogwarts. Being placed in his mother’s former house, Slytherin, the first two years there went by as swimmingly as most of his life prior did. Which leads us to today; where now he is as ready as ever to delve deeper into the many untold secrets and stories in which the school had to offer.

A Brief History
Zara grew up living a privileged life, with her mother working from home as a lifestyle blogger (for both wizards AND Muggles) and her father becoming quite the radio personality for the WWN. Zara lacked for naught in her youth, except perhaps for a bit more discipline and a little less sass. Although both her parents are wizards who attended (and succeeded) at Hogwarts together, she is well-versed in all things Muggle thanks to her mum's job and her dad's upbringing.
She has a younger brother named Valentino who is a second-year Gryffindor this year. She also has an even younger brother named Armani who is, in her opinion, still a baby. She hates that the babies get more attention from her mum than her, and makes up for that by being a completely spoiled Daddy's little princess type of child.
Although her RPer isn't active enough on-site for her to have made many friends, Zara has been enjoying attending Hogwarts all four years so far, though she mostly finds it "tame" and decries that there is "not enough drama" for her to "subscribe to the premium content." Whatever that means.
