Finally, after several years of hard work, the greenhouses have been returned to their former glory. Stop by when you have a spare moment and enjoy the plants.
OOC: Here's a basic guide of what you might find in each greenhouse; please remember to play realistically based on your character's age and skill level!

Armand and Damien rarely parted ways, but today Armand wanted a little time away from his twin. In this case, he entered into greenhouse one, knowing that it was best to familiarize himself with the basics ahead of time. Would be he required to know each and every one of them? Maybe, maybe not. But his grandfather, having been a Herbology Professor himself, had been sure to instruct him in quite a bit. He stopped at the color-changing roses, fascinated with them for some reason.

With herbology and liking dirt being the main hints given to her about the seventh year Slytherin, there was only place Celeste could think of for the job consultation...the greenhouses. After making sure her colleague didn't have any classes or other plans with his domain during the time she was free to schedule it, she had sent Hamish with a note to make Mr. Cambridge aware of their meeting.
She wasn't quite sure which direction to lead the conversation, but the astronomy professor was gonna let her charge leave the breadcrumbs and they would see where it took them. The woman in question was patiently waiting amongst the simpler flowers of Greenhouse 1. Her deep green robes almost blending her in with her surroundings as she investigated one of the nearby plants with the eye of one used to a bit of gardening herself.

Edric did, indeed, like dirt, as well as trees, clouds, sunshine, finding an interesting rock, seashell, or four-leaf clovers. Although calling Edric "good" at Herbology would require a stretch of the imagination, he didn't mind handling squishy things, or shoveling manure, or listening to mandrakes sing the song of their people from the comfort and safety of noise-cancelling earmuffs. He really enjoyed any bit of magic that didn't require wand-waving and precise spellcasting or memorization, so here he was. Happy to be in the greenhouses. Looking for the....
"Professor?" the lanky blonde tapped the shoulder of the shorter (to him) older woman gently. "Madame Professor Gert?" Yes, hi, what should I do with my life??? The silent question was written all over Ed's open face.

She had vaguely sensed the movement around her, but the woman only responded when her shoulder was tapped, knowing some of the greenhouse’s inhabits were known to move at times. “Good afternoon, Mr. Cambridge,” she greeted the Slytherin with a polite smile. In contrast the seventh year had a look of…well maybe not quite fear but maybe concern. Celeste got the impression her work with the young man might be the biggest challenge and not just because he was the eldest of the four and would be graduating at the end of the term.
“First off…relax,” she instructed, hoping to ease his nerves. “It’s not a life or death situation.” He wouldn’t die if he picked wrong in what he started out for his future. “Now you said you had no favorite subjects and you didn’t feel really comfortable with your magic. Perhaps we should start with sharing what interests you outside of lessons…outside of Hogwarts.” Besides dirt that was because it was definitely outside the school. The woman slowly moving to the next bed figuring they could take as they walked. Again distracting worries.

"Good afternoon," Ed replied softly, almost automatically. He nodded to the professor's instructions to relaaaax and tried a little shoulder shrug and exhale. Right. He had his whole life ahead of him, he wasn't in some sort of competition to win at life, he was fine. Fine fine fine.
Uhhhh. "Outside of Hogwarts? Why was he drawing a blank? "I like..." Wait!!! She was getting ahead of him!! Ed shuffled forward to stay approximately at the professor's elbow. "I like this. This stuff. Like, walking and hiking and stuff like that." What else what else what else could he say that wouldn't sound too dull and dreadful....? "I go to my friends' quidditch matches sometimes," he admitted, adding 'but not often enough' in his head after. "I enjoy... eating. I think the house elves are REALLY good cooks, like the food is much better than what I get at home." Good answer, good answer!!! He scratched at the few nearly invisible hairs on his chin. "I like visiting the magical creatures we have fewer at the school, especially the smaller ones...." They were easy. Definitely didn't require much magic to care for them. Was this enough yet? He let out a frustrated sigh and shoved his hands deep in his pockets.
"Do many wizards end up working Muggle jobs?" The question might have seemed out of the blue but it was something that had been weighing on Edric's mind ever since the discussion of life after graduation had consumed this school year.

Mr. Cambridge seemed to be following her instructions and relaxing. Or at least actively trying to be which Celeste would settle for. They would see if their chatting helped the boy…young man…calm down further about the topic of his future plans. The astronomy professor paused as he caught up, listening intently as the Slytherin answered her question and nodding occasionally to show she was paying attention. “An eclectic array of interests…” she remarked finally, “and each could provide an avenue fur a future if you chose. And not necessarily a magical one.”
Which coincided with his question.
“I wuid say a fair few do, aye.” There was no saying just because you had magic you had to continue to use magic in everything you did. “And nah necessarily just the muggleborns, though they do tend to be the more inclined.” The ones who might have had an inkling about what they might want to be when they grew up even BEFORE they found out they had magic to open a much bigger world of opportunities to them. “Ma own profession could switch between magical and muggle of course…though just require me to be a bit…restrained in the mundane world.”
