Simply Stylish Salon sits directly across the street from Honeydukes, bright and shining with a variety of different colours. The funky hair salon looks more to be built out of plastic than the usual wood and stone one would see down the street. Decked out with neon greens, blues, and oranges on the outside with a handful of fun decoration shapes such as stripes, triangles, and stars, this shop is anything but ordinary!
On the inside, you are immediately hit with wizard rock music playing through the shop as the yellows, reds, and orange colours and new assortment of flowing shapes, most notable of them all being the 'swirl', take your attention. A plush waiting area holds comfortable couches and a clear glass table that sits upon a fluffy rug that feels more like a cloud than anything. Hair styling magazines lay on the tables as oddly shaped shelves of products the store sells line the walls.

Of course her fathers never had any issue signing a permission slip for her. Val and James McLeod knew how responsible their daughter could be when she wanted to be. The Slytherin literally skipped her way along to the Salon that morning, thrilled to be out of the Castle for a change. There were prices for their services that needed to be checked out.
The rock music hit her immediately, making her head bob in appreciation. Aria didn’t mind the genre of music in general; as long as the tune was able to energise her. Something else that spurred her hyperness? The bright colours in here. This place was POPPING!
Aria made a mental note to check out the magazines she spied earlier then proceeded to inquire about the price for eyebrow waxing. Yes, her eyebrows needed some TLC!
Valentina really needed a break from the ridiculous amount of studying she'd been having to do lately - honestly? it was her fault for pushing everything to the last minute but ANYWAY. That was besides the point.
Here she was, feeling super ready to relax for the day. The blonde headed to the salon first, thinking about getting a trim. She needed to get her eyebrows done as well.. they were a little out of shape. The fifth year took a seat in the waiting area, tapping her foot to the music as she looked around - offering the girl who walked in a little smile.

This time, there was a Valentina there. Aria plopped herself gracefully in a seat beside the fifth year. “Valentinaaa!’’ she sing-sang. “What brings you here today? Your hair looks rather lovely so you can’t be here for a wash.”
Going to the salon was about the last place that Rhett wanted to visit during a Hogsmeade weekend when he had a tiny taste of sweet freedom, but his hair was getting out of control. He'd skipped haircuts during the other Hogsmeade weekends throughout the term and was able to wiggle out of an appointment when he was home over Christmas break. But when one of the boys in his year told him he looked like he had a girl's hairstyle, it made him mad enough to come in for a trim.
His dad sent him the money and while he was tempted to use it at Zonko's instead, he shockingly had the resolve to stop into the Simply Stylish Salon first. If he had change, the second year would go to Zonko's next. Rhett marched right up to the counter, ignoring the older girls who were already there, and announced to the person standing there, "I need a haircut." Was he next or what? He glanced over at the products lined up there. Beard Growth? Dang, he'd look cool with a beard already.

Namely this meant gaining an understand of the lay of the land and what options were behind the various doors. It was innocent daylight curiosity that brought here into the salon rather than any desire for a haircut and, upon pushing open the door and sprinkling a line of salt along the threshold, nearly decided that it offered nothing of interest to her. That is until she saw Rhett.
Approaching her friend, she waited quietly and directly behind him while he spoke with the staff. Her dark eyes shifted momentarily over to the other two girls when a curious sort of tickled revealed itself. New and unnerving, her attention returned to the the mass of red curls and spoke directly to them despite it still being the back of his head. "Will you be giving those clippings to the portraits?"

Rhett had no idea that someone was currently behind him as he was not always the most observant child. And he could not quite work out why the person behind the counter was less than impressed with his sudden outburst of a declaration as he was not all that adept at reading a room. But the question presented to the back of his head startled him slightly and he turned completely around to see Mitsuki, forgetting momentarily about the haircutting person.
"Those portraits aren't getting any of my hair," he informed her, indignant about that one dumb portrait but also finding what she said to be funny, remembering that day. "Even if it's just going to get swept up and thrown away, they still can't have it. Besides, I thought we figured they had to have painted hair anyway." Surprise, Rhett was confused again.
