Default Practice Pitch

As students make their way through the main entrance of the Practice Pitch, past the high fence that houses it, they’ll notice the immaculate trimmed grass that covers the area. A brick red track encircles the grassy area for anyone looking to sharpen their running skills, for warming-up, for brisk walking, exercise. Aside from lessons, the Practice Pitch's purpose is for students to use it as a ground to practice flying maneuvers and sharpen their skills. This is where all Flying lessons will be held unless otherwise stated by Professor Escalante.

Should the student want to play or practice other sports (within reasons of the area), the professor may be able to provide equipment. No promises.

In addition, the entire area has been charmed by a cushioning charm to prevent serious and deadly injuries. Should falls from broomsticks and injuries occur too often, expect a word from Professor Escalante. Remember to respect yourself, your peers and the equipment.

The professor’s office faces the Practice Pitch from the high vantage point of his tower. While he may not always be in his office, the former Auror has set charms around the area, keeping track of who comes in and comes out. So be smart and practice positive behavior. Should there ever be an emergency do not hesitate to contact Professor Escalante or any other professor nearby.

Have fun and always choose safety.
