For those who belong in Gryffindor House, on the left side of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Red banners containing an embroidered golden lion float above the polished table in honour of the brave Godric Gryffindor. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages.
Though your stomach might be growling as you take a seat on one of the long benches next to the table, it is important to not get hangry -- gnawing your arm away or jabbing your fork repeatedly on the surface of the table will do no good whatsoever. Give everyone some time to get settled in and wait for Headmaster Kazmi to deliver his speech. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates or those who are visiting from the other tables until it is time to sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves.
A deep rumble could be heard as Luther took a seat at Gryffindor Table for the End-of-Term Feast. 'I am early I guess.' thought Luther as he realized he was the first one at the table wondering when Headmaster would deliver his speech. 'At least I will see Leo again.' he thought and started planning what he would tell Leo about his year.

Apollo was nearly positive that someone had skipped a month in the calendar book. Because there was absolutely NO WAY that it was already the end of the year. That he was seventeen. That this summer was the last of which he would be playing for the U17 Quidditch team and next summer was real life. It was all just an impossible dream that he was going to wake up any minute and he would be starting Hogwarts for the very first time.
As his stomach grumbled he wondered when the Headmaster would make his speech. But he also realized it wasn't just a hunger for food, but a hunger for more. A hunger for life. And if he wasn't seventeen, he was almost positive he would not have felt this same hunger. He turned to look at Luther and realized even he wasn't the young child from the start of the term. Everyone was growing up, whether they liked it or not. "Did you have a good first year?" He asked. "don't worry if it seemed long, the older you get, the shorter the years seem to be." And yes he might have been about to go all emo.

Finally.
Kinsay James couldn't be in higher spirits as she made her way into the Great Hall for the last time. There was nothing about this school that she would miss. Not the castle. Not the Professors. Not the classes. Nothing. Her people would be leaving with her and those who weren't, she would find a way to see.
So. So instead of ducking her head and avoiding conversation, she offered small smiles to both younger boys sat at the table. "Hi!" They were looking awfully sentimental. Did they know?
Catching the tail end of their conversation, Kins furrowed her brows thoughtfully. "Every year felt long to me." And that? That was the truth.

Summer couldn't believe how quickly the year had flown by, it seemed she would be heading into her fourth year, next and she still was confused how her first three years had gone by, maybe she should have listened to her mother Angel when she had told her that.
Summer looked around to see if she could see any of her fellow third year, but even though she knew they were there she was struggling to see them. So that probably meant that they were at the other end of the table right, and truthfully she was too lazy to go and check. So she just sat there and waited to see if anyone would talk to her.

Although the question was a simple one, the answer was not quite so. After a moment to formulate his answer, Luther turned to Apollo and said with a smile on his face, "Hello there, Apollo. It was really good. I hope the next year will be even better than this one. How was your first year compared to your..." pausing for only a moment he continued "sixth year?" hoping he got his grade right.
SPOILER!!: Kinsay :)

Luther beamed at Kinsay who was so helpful in his early weeks at the castle. 'She didn't have to do that.' Luther thought gratefully. "Hi Kinsay!" he greeted her and continued "I don't mind long years, to be honest. The castle is pretty fun to explore, you know."
SPOILER!!: Summer, what a great name

Luther noticed the third-almost-fourth-year Summer sitting and looking around. Even though they have not spoken to each other much during the year, he thought 'It's never too late to befriend someone new.' and said "Hey there, Summer. How was your year? Did you think it was a bit long, too?"

Summer had been looking around the table, when she suddenly heard a first year speaking, well technically an almost second year. "It was great, I love spending time at Hogwarts, I can see what my mum meant when she said it was the greatest time of her life." Summer then heard the next part. "Long I found it short, there wasn't enough time to do everything I wanted, like explore the whole castle." Summer smiled. "You how was your year, did you enjoy Hogwarts?" Summer could still remember her first year and how she had loved it.
How was it possible that this was the end of the term already? The year seemed to have flown by so quickly. It was strange that's for sure.
Sitting down at the house table for the end of the year feast, she took a look around for friends or anyone she could talk to really. She wasn't really ready to leave, she really didn't want to.

Sitting down at the house table for the end of the year feast, she took a look around for friends or anyone she could talk to really. She wasn't really ready to leave, she really didn't want to.
Summer was looking around the table after saying hi to a first year, soon to be second year when she noticed Maxine. "Maxine, can you believe it, soon we will be our fourth year." Summer gasped. "And it feels just like yesterday we were just in our first year." Summer sighed. "What are your plans this summer?"

Luther smiled warmly as he listened to Summer. Seeing people enjoy their year at Hogwarts Despite everything, caused mainly by Peeves' hijinks, made Luther think 'I love Hogwarts.' Then "I don't think anyone can explore all of the Castle. I mean, have you seen the staircases?" said Luther laughing a little. And he continued "I LOVED it! Everything was awesome. Even though I had to sleep with gloves on for a while I cannot wait for the next year."
As Luther was listening to Headmaster Kazmi's speech, he applauded and cheered with everyone for Gryffindor. A small pride budded deep somewhere in Luther as a warmth which he couldn't exactly identify spread in him.
Luther didn't know how to react to hearing that the Headmaster won't be returning in the next term. The Headmaster was surely a kind and helpful person, 'despite that talk.' thought Luther. He silently, as his mother taught, wished the now-ex-Headmaster joy and peace in his life.
Before long, the rumble in his stomach appeared once again at the sight of marvelous food on the table. And he gave in to the hunger.

Turning and smiling at a familiar face. "Hey there Summer, I know!! I can't believe we will be 4th years! It's crazy." Maxine sure couldn't believe it! It also meant that her twin sisters would be starting at Hogwarts next year, well that is assuming they both got their letters, there wasn't any known squibs in her family, but it could happen. She tried to picture them not coming to Hogwarts and she couldn't. It also meant that it was her older sister Vera's last year at Hogwarts. "No plans really, just the usual hanging around Diagon Alley! What about you? Any trips planned?"

Caes didn't have to wait much longer for the speech to begin, apparently, his graduating class wouldn't be the only ones departing Hogwarts. After an agreement with his sis, he got up from his seat temporarily to head to the Gryffindor table. Should be safe now that the speech was over.
After a moment searching, he went over to sit by one of his friends, "Hello Luther, mind if I join you for a bit?" Giving him time to chew from all the delectable food in sight. He had to resist grabbing a chicken leg for this where he lowered his voice to a volume for only Luther to hear, "I was actually popping in to see if you and Leo wanted to stop by for the summer with me and Aria?" In case he was taken back and nervous by it, "Our parents are pretty cool, in their own way. No pressure." He knew how visiting new places could be overwhelming and all.

Apollo for once hadn't really noticed when Kinsay joined them. It wasn't for lack of caring about her presence... because he most definitely still did. She was still one of the more popular kids, in Apollo's eyes. But Apollo also succumbed to the fact that just maybe he wouldn't be as memorable as Kinsay James. At least not within Hogwarts walls. And that was okay, right? LIKE ... it was only seven years out of a whole lifetime to make a difference. To make a name for himself.
But regardless of the fact about Kinsay's presence startling him and the fact that she was TALKING TO HIM ... he still lighted up when he looked over to the seventh year. "But maybe that's not a bad thing? Except like when we were under attack by the neo-alliance... but like I guess the good times fly by and the bad times are a drag." He did like to think though that all of Hogwarts wasn't bad memories. He certainly had some good times.
"So... do you have plans for post Hogwarts life?"

He looked back to Luther. "I mean, my first year ... we had an evil dictator impersonator as our headmaster and Gryffindor Head of House, so I don't think there's really any comparison..." Apollo mused, trying to make light of the fact that his first year included a major wizarding war and all too much death for his young brain to make sense of at the time .... and even now.
And with that... there was the Headmaster proclaiming Gryffindor as House Cup Champions and also saying what now?? He wasn't going to back to greet them in September? Well that was quite the news wasn't it? Couldn't he have at least waited one term until he graduated? He sighed wistfully, as the food appeared on the table.

Luther saw Caes approaching the table and sitting next to him. Swallowing the embarrassingly large bite he took forcefully, he grinned at him and said "Hello there, Caes. Of course, I don't mind at all." wondering why the seventh year chose to spend his last feast at Hogwarts with him.
However, before long, he got his answer. Luther was glad that he was not eating anything when he heard Caes' question. "I... I am honoured, I am sure Leo would be, too, thank you so much. I... I don't want to intrude in any way." said Luther quietly, just loud enough for Caes to hear. Then pausing for a moment, he furrowed his brows and continued "Did you talk to the Headmaster Kazmi lately, Caes?" wondering if the Headmaster talked Caes into this. 'I will be a burden on them.' thought Luther, his dinner long forgotten.
SPOILER!!: What a first year

Luther listened to Apollo intently. At the end of the older boy's answer, Luther was slightly gaping at him. After a couple of seconds, he found his voice and said "Wow... I mean WOOOW. Here, I thought with Peeves' hijinks and glowing hands, my first year was extraordinary." pausing for another moment to gather his thoughts, he continued "How... How did it end? I mean, I am sure Headmaster Kazmi is not the one you are talking about." with a laugh tinged with slightest of uncertainty.
