GIRLS ONLY! STAY OUT, POTTER AND WEASLEY! The funny inscription etched on this door with a potions knife reminds us all of the great deeds Harry Potter and his friends performed in this very bathroom, which housed the entrance of the now sealed off Chamber of Secrets. Today it is fortunately no longer nearly as shifty as it used to be. Nevertheless, this bathroom is still haunted by the one and only Moaning Myrtle.
If you are ever in need of extra toilet paper or a towel dispenser needs to be restocked, there is a small cupboard across from the sinks containing all of the bathroom necessities you could ever need. Do the caretaker a favour and keep this restroom clean and in tact. The toilets should only be used for, well, your bathroom business -- not for brewing advanced potions. And please try not to upset Myrtle in any way so she doesn't burst into a loud fit of crying and wailing and decide to flood the bathroom and the corridor outside for the millionth time. Be nice to her, even if you must lie.

Remy had spent a lot of time in this particular bathroom as of late. Mostly because it was one of the quieter ones, due to Moaning Myrtle. She had only seen the famous ghost a few times herself, but hadn’t become properly acquainted with her on account of Remy being a little nervous of her. The quiet, though… THAT made it worth it.
The blonde Gryffindor was in excellent spirits today, and you would find her admiring herself in the mirror, fixing her hair into extravagant hairstyles. (Okay, she’s learned how to French braid herself and that was about it.)

“Yas, girl! You work that French braid!’’
In Aria’s opinion, the style suited Remy VERY much and it sort of made her rather envious of the girl. “I never could get my hair into the perfect French braid myself,’’ she commented sadly as she came closer to where the younger girl stood. Then her expression brightened. “But my dads do a wonderful job for it when I’m at home.”
Oh…
Was she babbling waaay too much? Aria didn’t mean to. Who knew that the perfect braid would make her that way?! “I think Dutch braids would look absolutely divine on you,’’ she continued as a tap was nudged on with the outer part of her hand so that the multitude of paint on her palms could be washed off. Yes, Aria had been hanging out in the Art Room working with watercolours.

The blonde jumped a mile when someone behind her approached. She almost felt embarrassed by her hair since her skills were by no means ready for the cat walk. That’s why she practised in a quiet bathroom and almost never paraded around the castle like this. She turned sharply then smiled at Aria. “Oh, mine are far from perfect. I need much more practise, I think…” although if Aria thought her French braids were perfect then she’d take it.
“Dutch braids? Oh, I’ve never done that to my hair before! Do you know how to do them?” Because Remy would offer her hair if so. “I’m not sure my robes are complimentary to such a hairstyle, though.” She paused to ponder ways to make the uniform POP.

Aria hadn’t meant to startle Remy. Oh yes, she knew that the loud and enthusiastic manner in which she often spoke would have that effect. But it was like a compulsion for her; Aria couldn’t help her random outbursts. One often thought that their own handiwork wasn’t perfect and hearing the Gryffindor say that she thought she needed more practise, the Slytherin was not surprised. After all, even she herself felt that way with her artwork and clothing designs. “If you think that you do but I can tell you, it really looks good!”
Aria scrubbed her hands under running water. “I sure do! I did that style a few times on my Aunt Mae’s hair.” The sixth year would be delighted to Dutch braid Remy’s hair if given the opportunity! “Truthfully, there aren’t many styles that compliment our robes and vice versa.” Aria watched as murky brown water - a combination of the paint colours on her hand - swirl down the drain. “But trust me! You’d be able to pull off both without any trouble! Would you like me to do the Dutch braid on your hair?"
