Located not too far from the Muggle Studies classroom is where you can find a space dedicated to all things related to arts and crafts. In this classroom, students such as yourself will be exposed to famous historical and modern Muggle and Wizard artists and strengthen your artistic abilities. Here numerous styles and techniques will be observed, and an array of projects will be produced and put on display for all to see.
When you enter the art classroom, you quickly realize that it is not set up like others in the castle. There are no desks in the vibrantly coloured room covered with paintings and other gizmos and gadgets aplenty. In the centre is a large table that is meant to serve as a universal workstation. Scattered around the room are smaller, individualized tables, easels, and shelves containing a number of books and any supplies your creative mind may need. Tucked in the back is a dark room for developing photographs. Everything in this room is for you to use, so long as you clean up after yourself.

Caes was exploring around the castle as usual, when he found himself bored. Sure, he could find Aria but she had other plans and he wasn't going to interrupt them. So he found himself taking a familiar path to the Art classroom. Usually it wasn't for innocent reasons making the trip but today was different.
Once inside, he walked towards one of the cupboards to get a few palm sized paint bottles and brushes. Maybe he could work on something or stock up, ahem.
Ash didn't like to think that she was predictable. But she absolutely was. She was always making art, and it was always in the same 5 places. And the sadder she got, the more predictable her behavior was. So she was in the art room at the same time as yesterday, like clockwork. She didn't even NEED to be here for today's art. But the energy of the place was really good. She pulled out some markers(with the intention of giving herself a temporary magic tattoo) when she noticed another person in there. "Oh... hey." She didn't really know him, but she thought he had friendly energy so she gave him half of a smile.

Caes thought about whether to make some sort of painting or maybe use these on a separate project outside the classroom when he heard the door open. Welp, that scratches borrowing supplies out of the question. "Hi," Caes turned to reply and return the smile, still clutching the paint bottles in his hands.
"Did you need to use these as well?" Asking before remembering he didn't share his name, "I'm Caeson. Caes for short," Letting her decide before he went over to grab some paper. He recognized her from classes and knew they were in the same year. At the moment at least.
"Ash. Ashley for un-short. Nice to meet you Caes." She smiled, shaking her head. "No, I don't need the paints today. I'm using markers to give myself a temporary tattoo." She rolled up her left sleeve to reveal her actual tattoo. "This one's real... but I always get my real tattoos from professionals." Although... she may give herself a real tattoo at some point in the future. Not this year... not this headspace. "What are you using those paints for?"

"Likewise, Ash." Somehow the name sounded familiar, then it hit him, "You know Violet, right?" She mentioned an Ash who gifted her an incredible drawing. what a neat coincidence.
So what was one of the coolest things with Art? Tattoos, which happened to pique Caes' interests. "Cool, I have a few tats as well myself." Raising his right arm sleeve to show one. "What design were you thinking of adding?" As for what he was doing with the paint bottles. "Hm.. I haven't decided, just had an urge to do something with them," Which was a light way of putting it as he took the paper over to smooth out.
"Yes! She's a good friend of mine." And a talented writer. "How did you know?" Had Violet said so? The thought of that made her quite happy, which was a strange thing for Ash to feel.
She looked over his tattoos. "I love them! I didn't know you were a fan too!" She had more tattoos... but they were a bit too personal to show him just yet. "I was going to make flowers on my arms!" She thought it would be a nice allusion to the flowers that she kept growing in places. "Can I watch you paint?"

Aha, so it was the same Ash, "Cool, she had actually showed me some of your art during the summer," They were quite striking. The memory of seeing him reminded Caes how long it had been since he heard from her. He might have to make a trip to Owlery soon. "You ever thought of designing something for her works?" In case it hadn't been brought up before, well, now it had.
"Thanks, a friend of mine, Darius, got me into it. Didn't expect it to take so long," He said with a small smile of apparent amusement. As for watching him paint, "Sure," Popping off one of the green paint bottles, he took a random brush to start. "What usually inspires your work? Do you just go with what your feeling?"

"She showed you my work? What did you feel about it?" Ash was flattered that Violet would mention her... she smiled, thinking about her graduated friend. "Violet's really cool. I've never thought to illustrate for her, but I wouldn't say no if she asked." She personally didn't think Violet's stories needed it, or that her art would make it better.
"I'm always happy when other people like tattoos." And when they didn't, she just hoped they respected her choices to get them. Her tattoos were really meaningful to her. And really pretty. She looked over at what he was doing from her seat atop the table, pausing in her drawing. ooh! That a pretty green. "My art expresses what I'm feeling and how I see the world, so I guess you could say that. Only sometimes I'm expressing what something makes me feel, and sometimes I'm expressing what I feel represented by something tangible. The other way around." She sighed, unsure if any of that made sense. "Does that answer your question at all, Caes?"
