Hogwarts in its Element

When: 7pm onwards, Saturday 12th May 2108
Who: Any student who wishes to attend*
Where: The Grounds
Dress Code: Formal wear is encouraged. The theme is ELEMENTS (water, fire, air, earth, aether). Attendees are encouraged to theme their attire accordingly, though this is not a requirement. Those who have difficulty acquiring formal wear for this event can discuss this with the headmaster or another member of staff in advance, so that something suitable might be sourced. Please be assured that no one will be turned away for attending in casual wear. Attire should be school appropriate, and no health and safety hazards; the theme may be natural elements, but open flames are not suitable accessories.
Additional note: There will be plenty of food provided (dinner will also be served in the Great Hall as usual, for those who choose not to attend the event). Curfew will be temporarily extended for all students for this night only; everyone must be back in their common rooms by midnight.
* OOC: You may play any of your own Hogwarts characters at this event, in addition to your sorted primary and secondary characters. More information in the next post.

A few things to keep in mind while role-playing at this Hogwarts event (which is, similar to Hogsmeade, a brief extension of the Hogwarts RPG):
- Similar to playing in Hogsmeade, this event is open to all Hogwarts characters - this includes your sorted primary and secondary characters played on-site in the Hogwarts RPG (those listed in 'postbits'), as well as any Hogwarts characters you play elsewhere or off-site, who are a part of the SSRPG universe and timeline. Characters played within this forum must be listed in your profile, and it should be clear when you are playing different characters by your purposeful usage of varying fonts, colours, names, etc. Characters who do not attend Hogwarts must not be posted here.
- This event will be open until the end of term, and will close when the Hogwarts Express forum opens (approx. 6th August).
- As always, all SnitchSeeker board rules apply. If you choose to link to a character's outfit, ensure the image follows site rules in terms of content, and link to your own image account.
- If you have any issues or a problem to report, PM a staff member or the Hogwarts RPG Admin.
