Connected to the Armour Gallery, the Trophy Room is where all awards, trophies, cups, plates, shields, statues, and medals are put on display behind crystal glass. Dating back centuries are the numerous achievements that have been made by those who've walked within these walls. When the sunlight shines through the windows and hits the glass just right, the items and names within glimmer and shine oh so bright.
Hundreds of names can be read here, ranging from the great Harry Potter, teachers and ministers of the past, many of today's famous Quidditch players, and more. Carefully looking at all of the names on each individual nameplate, some of you just might even find your parents' names here. Feel free to admire and strive to get your name listed somewhere in this room before you graduate. Just don't press your fingers against the glass or think about having a late-night duel here. You will be sitting here every night for detention until each trophy and plaque in sight is polished to perfection if you do.
If so, congratulations! You've completed the Wizard Card Collectors' Scavenger Hunt!
Just inside of the room, near one of the trophy cases, a small foldable table stands. On top of the table, there sits your prize: a stack of rare chocolate frog wizard cards, each one inside of its own card sleeve to add a bit of mystery to what you will receive. A note is propped up beside the stack of cards, directing you to please take only one card then return to the card collectors' meeting room.

A sudden CRACK broke the silence of the room as a small section of the stone wall fell. A loud CLINK can be heard as it smacks against the top of a glass trophy case, cracking the glass before tumbling onto the table. The table rattled, and the cards slid slightly out of their neat stack.
But the cracks continued traveling along the wall, fanning out, and a few more pieces fell onto the same glass case. The crack there grew with every hit, until a larger stone piece fell and-
SMASH.
One side of the case shattered, glass shards scattering all across the floor. Trophies toppled from their shelves onto the table and the floor. The cards, too, were knocked entirely off the table, fluttering every which way before landing on the floor.
And then the room was silent and still once again.

Atlas had not been a part of the scavenger hunt, though there had been a modest desire to partake and give the club a chance since he was finding himself bored entirely too often and it was causing a certain undesired result according to mum and dad, but instead had spent his time working on a mechanical scorpion he had made from the parts of a pocket watch he had found lying around and was taken his new little buddy out for its maiden adventure around the castle when he heard all the crashing and banging and general breaking of things.
His first assumption was that Peeves was on the loose again - mild jealously at how the poltergeist could get away with things simply because he was translucent and unalive - but not one to charge in and stupidly follow noises had sent Scorpio in first and waited OUTside of the room until the little mechanical companion returned with one of the sleeved cards speared to its stinger. Arching his brow, Atlas removed the card and pulled it out just enough to see what was in the sleeve. "....interesting..." he murmured, lips pursed, and slipped it into his pocket before dipping into Trophy Room proper (Scorpio situated in the palm of his left hand) and immediately too note of the carnage.
"Peeeeeeeeeves? What's your problem with chocolate frog cards? This is even extra for you!" the Gryffindor called out as he carefully tiptoed around all the broken glass and towards the overturned table.

And so the scavenger hunt had led this little group to the Trophy Room. Jude was bummed out that this was where said hunt would end but then again, all things came to an end eventually - the good and the bad. Eagerly, he stepped into the Room, the happy expression melting off of his face as he heard the shouting, words regarding Peeves.
But it was the eyesore that had him stopping abruptly in his tracks. Jude’s draw literally dropped a bit as he surveyed the mess - spilled cards, glass on the floor, trophies all about and not in their rightful places and a huge bit of stone which clearly had been a part of the Castle some time before. Instinctively, Jude threw out a hand to caution whomever had been coming in after him.
“Careful, guys. There’s glass on the floor.’’ Frowning, Jude rested his gaze on Atlas? Aries? Yeah, he still was unable to tell who was who. “You alright there?” That should be translated as Jude inquiring about the twin being being unhurt. His eyes briefly lingered on the scorpion-like contraption in the other guy’s hand before surveying the room once more. He visibly winced. “A professor should be informed before we make any attempt to clean up, don’t you guys think?’’ the Hufflepuff asked, gingerly stepping over debris.
Cyril had been taking a turn around the castle, double checking walls and floorings after the previous cracking that had been experiencing prior. Nothing too big had been happening, much to his gratitude, but perhaps it was too soon to have thought that when there was a loud crashing noise as he was exploring the third floor. The man quickly broke into a faster walk, making his way towards the trophy room where he could see some students near the entry and then the mess inside. "Merlin's beard! Are you all alright?" Was that a Mr. Flamsteed he saw within the room as well? "Mr. Flamsteed, no injuries for you is there?" He gently pushed past Mr. Nam standing there staring within with his friends, skirting around Mr. Anders in the process. "Did any of you lot happen to see what caused this?"
He assumed it was probably as mysterious as everything else but... a man could ask with hopes of a concrete scape goat. "Did I hear the mention of Peeves?" He glanced up and around, as if he might have spotted the poltergeist hovering nearby.

Jude continued to pick his way over the mess, particularly taking care to avoid as much glass as possible. All of this could easily be mended with a simple spell but that didn’t help the dismay in him. Would Peeves even do something like this? The Hufflepuff paused to pick up the Chocolate Frog cards that didn’t belong here in the Trophy Room. At the moment, he didn’t even think to look at which witches and wizards were printed on them. There was an obviously much more pressing issue at hand.
A professor!
Just whom they needed!
“I didn’t see anything, professor. By the time I got here, all this-” Jude spread his arms wide. “- had already happened.” Only the Flamsteed twin might have some sort of idea. He pocketed the cards, intending to take them back to Applewood shortly. He’d let her handle splitting them up among the group.
"Jude's right, it was like this when we got here," added Violet, who was standing behind the others. "But...there was something weird down in the dungeons, too--big cracks forming in the walls and the floor. Professor Hernandez was there and said he'd report it, but...I wonder if the two incidents are related?"

Delighted, Aria snagged the envelope. She carefully opened it and read the clue softly to herself. Even before she was through, there was an idea of where next she needed to be. The shinies would definitely be the trophies and plaques. The hard working students and their wins were a hint at past student leaders and well as the Houses which won the various Cups.
And so the happy Slytherin made her way back down, this time heading for the third floor after leaving the envelope behind. Cautiously she entered the Trophy Room. Aria remembered the great chaos that had befallen the Room earlier that term, and half expected to meet the same setting. She paused just on the inside of the Room, hands on her hips as she scanned around.
“Where are you, book?’’ she called cheerily. “You know I’m going to find you in no time, anyway.”
Violet reached the Trophy Room just behind Aria this time and cautiously looked through the doorway, alert for any new castle damage that may have occurred since the last time she was there. Seeing that the other girl was inside and nothing terrible had happened to her, Violet joined her, looking around for the next book.

Along the shiny line of trophies a maroon book that might be easy to recognize sits along the line. Quidditch through the ages is of course the best book for this room, isn't it? It sits upon it's thrown as the mighty book that helped bring these trophies to the names on each plaque.

Hearing movement behind her, Aria looked over her shoulder and spotted Violet behind her. Deciding it was best to leave her housemate alone, she continued to look around. She refused to let the shiny trophies and plaque distract her. But GOSH! They were so SHINY! Yes, Ms. McLeod was like a Niffler, distracted by all the shinies. After she located the book, she’d take some time to admire the room’s contents properly.
“Prefects…’’ Aria read as she proceeded to scan the various sections. “Gobstones… Quidditch…” Hang on! There it was! “Got ya!’’ She pumped the air with a triumphant fist then whipped out the camera. She wondered how many more clues there were as she situated herself before the book. Pulling a ‘duck face’, the Slytherin snapped the picture. Yes, the book was properly captured. Time for the envelope then?

The book seemed to be standing out proud that it had been found, but it wasn't until the flash that came that an envelope appeared.
SPOILER!!: clue
You are almost done and oh how fun that you will not back track close to the start. Go up and find the place you study, this place as books, but it's not the library.
It wasn't surprising that Violet didn't at first recognize the Quidditch book, as it wasn't one she'd bother to read yet. But she dutifully snapped the photo, rather pleased that she finally gotten the hang of this, and pondered the next clue. Hmm...books, study, not the library...then it must be...Study Hall.
