The oldest of three children, Rosalie had a pretty happy, “normal” childhood, so of course she was surprised to find out, when she turned eleven, that she was magical and needed to attend a magical school called Hogwarts. Sure, sometimes weird things happened around her - like the time she was standing up to the kid who had been bullying her little brother Trevor, and the bully’s hair fell out, but they’d all thought that was just some random coincidence, probably just something wrong with the kid’s shampoo. Apparently not.
And so she attended Hogwarts and was sorted into the house of Gryffindor. A few years later, Trevor also received a Hogwarts letter, and a few years after that, so did Conrad, and both of them were sorted into Gryffindor as well.
During the summer before her sixth year, she reconnected with one of her Muggle friends from childhood, Nigel Dashwood. They continued to write to each other when she went off to school, sending her letter first to her parents so they could send it through the Muggle post to keep magic a secret, and met up during holidays. Quite soon, they fell madly in love, and by the time Rosalie graduated from Hogwarts, they were engaged and eloped to the United States. The night before they left, Rosalie finally told him about the magical world, and though he was shocked and disbelieving at first, eventually he accepted/brushed it off, saying that he just wanted to be with her.
Nigel got a job at his family’s tech firm, while Rosalie attended the Salem Wizarding University, double majoring in Secondary Education and No-Maj Studies. She had found the wizarding perspective on non-magical people mostly interesting but at times infuriating, and she wanted to help foster more understanding and acceptance for the differences among people.
Rosalie and Nigel’s first and only child together, Seraphina Rebekah, was born on 23 November 2090.
Rosalie graduated from university in 2092, and then she continued right into her graduate studies. Nigel’s parents were a great help in babysitting the rambunctious little girl while Nigel and Rosalie worked, with Rosalie adding the job of Teaching Assistant to her schedule.
It was also during this time that Seraphina began showing signs of unintentional magic. Nigel’s parents brushed off the weird occurrences, but Nigel grew ever more irritated hearing about how the electricity in the house short-circuited or the cookie jar suddenly shattered out of nowhere. Nigel and Rosalie had many arguments over it, which led to long periods of time where they barely said two words to each other.
Over time this became routine. They both spent more time at work than with each other. Rosalie had completed her graduate studies and in 2095, accepted a position as an Associate Professor of No-Maj Studies at Salem WU. When they spent time with their daughter, it was usually apart - though over time, Nigel began to spend less and less time with her too, focusing on his job.
It all came to a head one morning, with Sera at her grandparents’ house, when Nigel said he wanted a divorce. They had their biggest argument yet, though, unlike most of their other arguments, it eventually ended with them both agreeing.
It was a long and painful process, especially for their daughter, but finally, in the spring of 2103, at the end of Sera’s first year at Ilvermorny, the separation was finalized. Nigel officially moved out, and has not had a lot of contact with either of them since then.
Rosalie remained in Massachusetts for the next year, allowing Sera to remain at Ilvermorny, but long before the end of that year came, she knew she needed a change for herself and her daughter. In 2104, she took a job in the UK as a private tutor, and enrolled Sera in Hogwarts. Sera was not pleased about any of it, but Rosalie was sure she would come around. She was of course immensely pleased when her daughter was sorted into the same house as she was in back in the day.
Then, she heard about a job opening for Muggle Studies Professor at Hogwarts. On a whim, she applied, not really thinking anything much would come of it. But then she got an interview, and then after that came a job offer, and she happily accepted. Sera, of course, was less than pleased, but Rosalie was excited to begin another new chapter where she could be closer to her daughter and also do the work that she loved.

~Manifesting his Magic~ Darren Jeffrey Creed enjoyed visits to his Grandfather's when he was very young. His Parents would often take him there where his Grandfather would pamper and spoil him. One time while he was visiting Darren found some of his Late Grandmother’s muggle nerd collection of books, action figures, and many other paraphernalia. Interested in one Starscream Transformers figure that was out of reach Darren’s magic manifested when he made it float toward him. Unfortunately it was very brief and weak. The figure dropping from the air and breaking in two. Scared of it being found by his Grandfather is the item was very dear to him belonging to his late wife. Darren attempted to hide it but was caught in the process. But his Grandfather fixed the toy easily with his own magic and took one look at Darren. He then took down a few of the other collectable toys and to the best of his own knowledge of muggle nerd culture explained to Darren all about all the things his Late-Grandmother loved. ~Nearly Drowning at Loch Ness~ When Darren was about 5 years old he was out on a small rowboat with his Father, and Uncle Aaron at Loch Ness during a family Vacation. Uncle Aaron had jokingly told the young Darren that this adventure would be to see if they could locate the Loch Ness Monster, the massive Kelpie that resides within the massive Scotland lake. The three of them went out not putting a lifejacket onto Darren. While there was some fear from the 5-year-old due to the stories of the Massive Kelpie, his curiosity was far greater and slightly harder to contain on the boat. At every movement Darren jolted up to see if anything was the Kelpie itself. Eventually one jump from Darren also caused the two adults on the boat to get startled and it capsized the Rowboat all three of them were on.
Darren wasn’t a great swimmer as a child, only starting to learn he struggled to kick his way to the surface and instead only found himself sinking deeper into the depths of Loch Ness. The small light of the water’s surface only gets smaller the weight of his clothes only making him heavier to swim up. Darren felt as though the Kelpie had a hold of him and his fear settled in. Making him struggle harder to swim up. The Darkness of the lake surrounded him until he felt something actually wrap around himself. Assuming it to be the Lochness Monster he struggled at first to fight it off him, but the tight grip did not drag him deeper. A few minutes later his father broke the surface of the water and with Uncle Aaron’s help got him to land and performed CPR until he spit up the water that he took in from his lungs.
It was after this experience that Darren grew to Hate going onto Boats and developed Thalassophobia.

Delilah seems to be your average eleven-year-old. She's just getting into the pre-teen stage of her life, but she's still so much like a child in many ways. She's not overly outgoing, but she loves to make friends and hang out with them when she can. She'd describe herself as having "a whole lot of lion with a little bit of snake" in her.

Delilah was born on October 30, 2094 to George and Imogen Prescott. You can imagine some amazing backstory would start right at this exact moment, but eh, Delilah's life has been pretty much normal. Her mother is a witch, and her father is a muggle, which gives her the best of both worlds. Since she was old enough to know all about magic, though, she's preferred that way of life (anxiously awaiting the day that she, too, might be able to cast magic). Realizing that her daughter very well might one day attend Hogwarts, Imogen Prescott kept Delilah home from school and taught her the basics in muggle and magical learning (although Delilah could only watch her mother cast magic).
Being careful to hide her mother's magical abilities (and possibly her's, too), Delilah ventured out in the muggle world from time to time and took dance classes and played basketball with her friends. At times, she wished she could go to school with them, but deep down inside, she just wanted that school to be Hogwarts. When she was ten-years-old, she accidentally caused it to "rain feathers" at the local park, and her mother was forced to pull her out of dance classes and off the basketball team.
Bored out of her mind with nothing to do but hang out at home, Delilah took up random hobbies, such as putting together puzzles, making jewelry, and practicing magic while waving around a stick. Boredom was finally kicked out the back door when Delilah finally received her Hogwarts letter at age eleven. She was too busy reading "Hogwarts, a History" and talking about magic with her mother to be bored at home anymore.

Trissa Hartwell was born as the middle child of the Hartwell family on March 16th. Her father is a metal charmer who specialized in making Snitches for Quidditch games and her mother worked as a cleaning lady in a 3-star hotel. When Trissa was ten her parents signed for a divorce and her father got custody over the kids. She still keeps in contact with her mother to this day by visiting her every weekend before she went to Hogwarts. At Hogwarts, she would send her owls to keep her up to date. When she turned fourteen, her father revealed that he had been dating a witch named Bethan for two years. Trissa didn't care that he had kept the relationship a secret because if her father was happy, she was happy.

Primary Years
Kinsay Cassandra James knows nothing but love. On November 27 2090, she was born and, subsequently, adopted by a family that would love her unconditionally for the rest of time. She grew up surrounded by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. When she was just a baby, Alexa Cambridge (a longtime friend of her mother's) and her daughter, Emmerson, were invited to stay at the James' cottage for some time. During this period, Kinsay and Emmerson shared a room and forged a friendship rivaled by no other. It was a sad day when Emm moved out, but the two continued to be inseparable ever since. Best friends forever.
When Kinsay started showing signs of magic, she was enrolled at Stark School (a wizarding primary school headed by Isadora Stark) alongside Best Friend Emmerson Cambridge, Emma Rider, and Samuel Summers. The four of them, along with Matthew Rider-Mae formed their own group (SKEEM) and together they could conquer the world. Or at least, Hogwarts.

Arden has lived a remarkably charmed lifestyle. She is the younger child of Eden and Phoenix Toros, both of whom have a very hands-off, hippy approach to raising their children. Arden is allowed to do many things her peers probably wouldn’t be able to do for the sake of “learning your OWN boundaries.” Next door to them lives Eden and Phe’s joint partner, Milos, who has a child of his own. Arden feels very protective of her little Clia and is a little saddened she must be separated from her, but she is glad to be going off to Hogwarts FINALLY.
She is bouncy, wild, free-willed/spirited, unfocused, happy, easy to amuse, and overall a mess. Arden is brave and rash and hardly thinks about consequences. She and her mother clash a lot because of this, and Eden also finds Arden exhausting to have around most days. They do have a close relationship because they both enjoy animals so much, though.

Due to her parents lifestyle decisions, Arden has very much found herself quite early on. She is confident and knows what she wants and WHEN she wants it. She was born in the summer three weeks early, and Eden and Phoenix joke she couldn’t sit still anymore, which is very true since as a baby and eventually a toddler she was EVERYWHERE. As a baby, she wouldn’t keep socks or shoes on EVER, and both her and her brother have Phoenix’s wild hair. It is very curly, and Eden has done her best to learn and teach Arden how to style it. Arden is lazy, and so she usually just throws it in a bun or puts a hairband in.
Growing up, Arden and Starr were very happy. They were not spoiled, but they had all the love and care children can have. Phoenix traveled as a wrockstar when they were younger, but these days he stays home and keeps to himself as he continues to work with his brother in the wizarding music industry. Arden has grown up around MANY famous wrockstars, though, and is not easily starstruck because of this. Her mother, Eden, is a herpetologist who used to work for sanctuaries abroad, but now she has her own axolotl farm on their property. Her mother’s first snake, Daisy, is still alive and kicking, and the corn snake is a staple in the household. Arden’s love of scary looking creatures stems from this childhood.
While both children love people, both were homeschooled by Eden. They live in Greece in a small polyamrous compound where Eden and Phoenix feel comfortable living out their lives. They always knew their children would go to Hogwarts, though. Arden visits her Gran, Irene, in Ireland where she and her granddad live a lot. Irene, a muggle, is a baker and owns a thriving bakery in Wexford. Iden travels for fun since the family are prominent purebloods. Iden was originally kicked out the family for marrying a muggle, but since the death of his father and his wickedly purist brother, he has been welcomed back into the fold. Eden and Phe still feel a bit separate from her dad’s side of the family, though, and Phe’s mother was also a muggle. This makes Arden a good bit mixed with non-magical blood, and thus she has not a care in the world about anything blood related.

Karleigh is the only child of Quidditch referee Aaron Creed and herbalist Elisabeth Creed. Though she is an only child, or maybe because of it, she is very close to her cousins, seeing them as pseudo-siblings. Her parents made sure to encourage this close-knit ideal, especially so she would not grow up lonely. While she is closest in age to her cousins Jane and Henry, she looks up to Darren like a big brother and thinks he is one of the smartest boys she knows. As the families are all close, they also take a yearly camping trip to Loch Ness every summer. It was here that Karleigh’s magic first manifested at age five when she accidentally lit the campfire before the adults could get to it. It was also here that she thought she caught her first glimpse of a unicorn at age four. Mesmerized by the flash of silvery white, she has longed to be close to unicorns ever since. She has been taking ballet lessons since age six, en pointe since age 14.

Remy had a pretty textbook childhood, a stable relationship with her parents, and a sister who she has always looked up to. Her dad was quite a stern parent, one that she wasn't emotionally close with, but she still respected. He worked a lot, and was often away from home on work trips. There were a few times where the family had to relocate, one of those times being to Switzerland. Only for one year before moving to Hampstead, London.
Remy's mum was the opposite to her dad, a housewife for many years during her childhood, and she has now started a small gardening business. Remy is very close with her mother, and could tell her absolutely anything. Very similarly, she was very close with her sister, Anjya.
Remy attended a wizarding primary school, skipping the year she had to move to a different country. She sometimes found it difficult to maintain friends as a young kid.

Born on the 23rd of April in 2092 to Chloe Adara and Archer Grimm Stark, was the most beautiful baby boy in the world. Chloe knew that he was destined for great things as from an early age Apollo was very excitable with an abundance of energy. His very early years were spent in the ministry daycare but as soon as he was old enough, he was enrolled into St Woboldo's Primary School. Often needing extra work to keep him out of trouble, Apollo found himself a best friend in Bella who was the same age as him. It wasn't long before the two became inseparable, the sister that Apollo never had but still hopes his mama has another kid soon!. When Apollo was around seven, Chloe did get him a feline, figuring that would stave off him begging her for a sibling every year.
Time went on and before he knew it, on Apollo's eleventh birthday, he received a letter being accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. No surprise. What would be a surprise was what the next seven years would provide to him. Let the mysteries begin, but at least he was doing it alongside his very best friend.

A BRIEF HISTORY
Adam and his twin sister, Ingrid, were born on November 30th, 2090. Adam was born BEFORE Ingrid and therefore older than her, thank you very much! Up until this point, Adam has had the luxury of living a relatively privileged life with his father and siblings. Their mother left the family when Adam was younger, but being the ever optimistic person he is, he quickly moved on from it and isn't phased by the fact that he lives in a single parent household. All the Luck siblings are close, despite the fact that Adam has a tendency to hide frogs in his siblings beds.
PERSONALITY
Adam in one word - LOUD. There is no other volume for this spunky little Gryffindor. He is perpetually excited about pretty much everything, and always willing to chat because he hates sitting in silence for any extended period of time. You may think that because of his high energy, he doesn't sit still long enough in school to do well, but in fact the complete opposite is true. Adam LOVES learning, maybe a little too much. He wants to master each and every class and learn everything he can about literally anything. Very rarely is he actually bored with a subject, although that could very well change when he finally gets to take Arithmancy.
George owns a creatures shop, so Adam is fascinated by all animals, both magical and mundane. His favorite animals are frogs, mostly because they're very easy to catch in his backyard, and he loves the way they leap and catch flies in the blink of an eye. He also likes Quidditch, even attending Quidditch camp in 2100, and tries to follow the stats of the Pride of Portree Quidditch team.

THE HOGWARTS YEARS
SPOILER!!: Term 56 - Year 1
ADAM WAS FINALLY HEADED TO HOGWARTS! He was practically BOUNCING as he finally made his way to the Hogwarts Express that fateful September morning. He was extremely eager to learn everything he could as fast as he could - which overwhelmed him very quickly. He had a few troubles focusing on his homework which caused his grades to be a little less stellar than he would have hoped. It was just so hard when there were so many interesting things to read up on!
As far as the drama of the term went, Adam mostly kept his head down and watched in a silent horror as some of his classmates became possessed by a ghost who wanted his gold back. Thankfully he'd kept his nose OUT of that drama, thank you very much, and secretly felt they kind of deserved it for messing around with all that money that clearly didn't belong to them. He was way more focused on learning cool charms than anything else!
SPOILER!!: Term 57 - Year 2
While Adam had remained mostly out of trouble during his first year, focusing mostly on learning anything and everything he could - well, let's just say that didn't quite work out his second term. Right off the bat, he caused trouble at the feast by choosing to throw a balled up napkin at the Neo-Alliance followers as they took over the school and made their presence known. He paid for it dearly and was Crucio-ed by the Alliance followers, which understandably shook him to his core. Determined not to experience that again, he kept his mouth shut the majority of term, keeping his head down and focusing as much as he could on his studies.
Unluckily for him, he had admitted at the beginning of term to being half-blood, which made him a target near the end of the term along with the other Luck siblings. They were rounded up and put in the dingy room the Alliance had designated for muggleborns, half-bloods and troublemakers. The Lucks stuck together, and when the Order showed up at the end of term to break them free, the initial plan had been to escape somewhere safe together. Adam got separated from his older siblings during the shuffle, however, but thankfully was able to reunite with Ingrid in the spare office as the fighting went on around them. Keeping close to his sister, they were able to tough out the battle and made it out relatively unscathed.
SPOILER!!: Term 58 - Year 3
After a very traumatizing year, Adam took time to try and recharge himself and come to terms with what had happened the term before. At first, when Healer Poppy appeared and began to hand out yummy tasting bread that (seemingly) helped with their moods, he was all for it. However, he eventually figured that by supporting this whole ~zen~ attitude that was gripping the castle, he was actually putting a band-aid on his issues. It was ok to be upset and process out the emotions that came along with that, instead of just ignoring them!
It was a very valuable lesson learned for Adam, and he began to focus on healing and trying to get back into the routine of being a NORMAL teenage Hogwarts student.
SPOILER!!: Term 59 - Year 4
Adam was far more focused on GIRLS this term instead of what was going on in the school. What giant vines taking over the greenhouses? Ok, he wasn't THAT oblivious, but Adam Luck was far more focused on trying to juggle a social life with school. Naturally, things didn't go as planned and he found himself victim to a love potion on Valentine's Day, and he ended up kissing Christianna Rivers in the astronomy tower before the potion wore off - much to their horror. It ended up working out, however, as he had already had a small crush on her BEFORE that - the potion just sort of accelerated things a bit!
