| | |  The Office of Professor Applewood
Professor Applewood's office is fairly straightforward. There's a decently-sized desk and a comfortable chair behind it for her to sit, as well as two comfy armchairs in front of it for you to sit in. On top of the desk can be found framed photos of her daughter, her brothers, and her nieces and nephews, and a metal mesh pen holder containing black, blue, and red ink Muggle pens. There is also often a stack of papers to grade on top of her desk as well.
Behind the desk and chair are two sections of display shelves, one section containing books pertaining to various Muggle subjects, and the another containing Professor Applewood's collection of snow globes - or at least, some of her favorites in her collection, ranging from Christmas and snowy themed to a few Disney themed as well.
On the left side of the office, there is also a rather large cat tree with a few little toys scattered around it and a big, soft cat bed in the corner. Guinevere can typically be found in either of these two places, usually sleeping, but she may perk up whenever a visitor comes and bother people for attention, if she feels so inclined.
If you wish to speak with Professor Applewood, simply knock on the door, and she will be with you shortly. | |

Simon had a few theories that he was contemplating about the great plant last year but he wasn’t sure which ones made sense so he had to find a peer to help him out with it.
All of his peers were qualified to help him. Javier was brilliant, Norman... brilliant, Cyril intimidating but brilliant, Leanne... also brilliant but made him sad (RIP Hadley), and Kamran... Kamran was his peer. He had a friendly rivalry with the Ancient Runes Prof simply because he was biased to how Professor Botros had taught the magnificent subject. And going to June about all of this would make him so so bad because she’d been upset. He still wasn’t sure if the plant had made it feel better. She said it had but... Bianca had given him some feedback on that approach.
So that only left him with a few options and the best was an old schoolmate and peer. He knocked on the door. “Rose??” he called out before taking a step back and readjusting his notebook underneath his left arm.
Hopefully she was in, yeah?

Hopefully she was in, yeah? Rosalie was, in fact, in her office right now. She had planned to take a walk around the grounds, seeing how nice it was outside today, but that was before mischievous little Guinevere had zoomed around her office and then knocked all of the stacks of papers and photos off her desk in an effort to get on top of the cat tree. The culprit was now contentedly making her bed at the top, and Rosalie stood by the door, hands on her hips.
"Really, Guinevere? There were much easier ways to get up there." It was almost like the cat went out of her way to knock things over sometimes. She wouldn't put it past her at this point.
And it was then that a knock came. And Simon's voice on the other side. Guinevere had excellent timing for throwing things into disarray.
Still, this would be an easy fix, and she wasn't actually upset - it wasn't her snow globes collection after all, and the photos weren't broken either - so it was easy to smile as she opened the door, even with her office looking a mess. "Hello there, Simon. Come on in."

It was nice to be back with the students again, even if she did enjoy summertime. "Yes, she seems to think she owns the place." And not just her office, but probably the whole castle too. Guinevere thought everything was her own personal playground, though fortunately she was also a bit of a lazy cat and didn't typically wander very far.
Rosalie drew her wand and, with a quick flick, the papers and photos flew back into their proper places, papers neatly stacked once again. With that done, she gestured for Simon to take a seat and noted the notebook under his arm before taking a seat herself.
"It's gone well so far. I get the feeling Sera is avoiding me so far, but that's not unexpected." Her daughter was none-too-pleased about the new job this term, but Rosalie was sure she'd come around eventually. "What about you? How's your family?"
