Located at the top of a spiral staircase and just to the right are the Gryffindor girls' dormitories. Rooms are assigned according to year, and each door is marked with a wooden plaque.
Each room is home to several cozy four poster beds with gold sheets and pillows and a bright red velvet covering. There are matching red silk curtains that can be drawn to give the occupants a bit of privacy. Each bed has its own nightstand, and, in keeping with the Gryffindor element of fire, the rooms are lit with magical flames in fireproof, shatterproof jars.
Please remember that this is the girls dorm. In other words: NO BOYS ALLOWED! But just in case, the staircase is bewitched to turn into a slide should anyone get any ideas.
Summer went over to her bed and took out some chocolate frogs from her trunk, she had begged her mother to pack them, so that she could have a snack at somepoint. "Anyone fancy a chocolate frog!" Summer decided that the best thing to do was share, she would give Desiree some one day soon even though they weren't in the same house, she was still sad about that.

Delilah had been tossing together some last-minute homework assignments, when she decided she just couldn't take it anymore. She was sick of flipping through textbooks, writing answers on parchments, and sitting down at the study tables in the common room. Whatever was done, was done at this point. She thought it was decent enough to get some good marks anyway.
She climbed the spiral staircase and headed to the first year dorms. She was just in time to hear Summer offer up a free chocolate frog to anyone who wanted one. "Seriously? You're giving out free chocolate frogs?" she asked. "Yeah, sure! I'll take one." Not that chocolate frogs were expensive anyway, but it was awesome that someone was passing out chocolate! "Thanks!" She tossed her book bag to the floor and sat on the edge of her bed.

Summer smiled as she heard Deliliah respond and she passed over a chocolate frog to her fellow first year Gryffindor and friend. "Well, I begged my mother to pack extra, apparently when she came to Hogwarts she had a midnight feast one night and told scary stories." Summer giggled, she still could see her Auntie A.J scaring her mother with some crazy story, when she herself was around four, she had been scared of the boogyman under her bed because her Auntie had told her one lived under there.
Summer then turned back to her trunk. "She's put in some chocolate and some sweets, all I need to do is find somewhere to get a drink and then I could have a midnight feast like she did." Summer was going to look forwards to that.

Bonnie made her way to the top of the spiral staircase and sighed. It had been a long day and she was exhausted. She made her way over to her trunk and started to put some of her books away.
There were already another two girls in the dormitory, she couldn’t help overhearing their conversation. ’A midnight feast sounds awesome!’ Bonnie remembered the sleepovers she had back home, eating chocolates and playing games.
She turned back and started rummaging through her trunk. I knew these would come in handy, now we can have a proper midnight feast! Bonnie beamed as she held up two bottles of Pumpkin juice she had bought on the train. Anyone got a cup or a flask? Her earlier tiredness suddenly forgotten.

Delilah happily accepted the candy and immediately started opening it. She was sort of the impatient kind when it came to seeing which chocolate frog card she'd get! She peeled away the box's lid and gripped the frog with one of her hands. With the other hand, she removed the card from the box. "Slytherin! Yes! I knew it!" she exclaimed. In time, she'd get over her disappointment about not being in Slytherin house, but for now, she was still a little partial to it. At least this card made her feel a little better. "A midnight feast sounds cool!" she replied, and so did having a friend who kept a trunk full of sweets to share!
Someone nearby echoed her thoughts, and Delilah turned to see Bonnie. She should really put those books away. It was late. Books were for early mornings and classes. Soon enough, the books were forgotten about for some pumpkin juice the girl had stowed away. Cups? Flasks? "I don't have anything like that," Delilah said. Maybe she should start keeping sweets, juice, and cups in her trunk...? She shrugged. "You two can drink the pumpkin juice. I'm good with just my chocolate frog anyway."
Summer looked at the other two first years and smiled. "Oh I've got a couple of flasks." Summer quickly went through her trunk, chucking stuff onto her bed. "Here they are!" Summer took the tops of the flasks and she put them down, she then stuffed everything off her bed into her trunk, she didn't care if her clothes were scrunched up.
Summer then grabbed some sweets and put them on a table. "Okay so who's telling a scary story first?" Summer asked her friends.
Bonnie watched as the girl opened her chocolate frog ; Having only just discovered these on the train she was fascinated. Chocolate shaped frogs that could actually jump and pictures that move..madness!
'Oh excellent!' Bonnie replied excitedly and placed the pumpkin juice on the table next to the sweets. 'I don't think we've actually met yet, my name is Bonnie,' she picked up a chocolate frog and began to remove the wrappings. 'I don't know about ghost stories, but there was a rumour that went around my school back home that it was haunted.' She looked up to gauge the girls' reaction. 'The older kids used to say that it had been built on a graveyard and that a ghost lived in the trapdoor under the school's stage.' It wasn't exactly a ghost story but it was all she had. 'Just imagine the looks on those kids faces if I could tell them I was now at a school with actual ghosts!' She giggled.
