A selfie? What was a selfie?! Oh wait, was that what Aria had been doing? Yes, that must be it!

As Violet mulled this over, she was busy opening her envelope. Reading over the first clue, she wasn't quite sure of the book, but she was fairly certain it was here in the library, in the Restricted Section (she hoped, because she never had had a chance to get a good look around the last time she was there). So she began to edge off in that direction.

Meda smiled to herself as the group started to get up and head towards the restricted section. This was going to be fun and of course she wasn't going to follow them like she was crazy. She would wait here until they came back with their pictures. She hoped they enjoyed their prizes she had instore for them too.

Obviously the restricted section was still closed off, but one could see that there was a book not in it's proper place close by. The book was clearly not meant for the restricted section with its light yellow cover and the title in a more glitter type fount sparkling and changing as it read The love of a Dark Wizard.

No one wanted to partner up? Fine with Ms. McLeod! She skipped off to the Restricted section, positive that the others would follow soon. She stood there at the Restricted Section, clearly it was closed off, staring around while shifting from foot to foot in excitement. Come on, book! Where were you?

Almost immediately after asking herself that question, Aria spied the yellow book with the glittery words. Excellent! She skipped off to its close proximity, readied her new favourite Muggle contraption and clicked the selfie. She held the camera with her right hand, and with her right, held up the peace sign. The book was clearly in the background of her image. This much was observed when her picture was printed.

Now for that envelope!

Violet had avoided answering Aria's request for a partner--though she had nothing against the younger girl, she did not think she could take that much perkiness today. Besides, she wanted privacy in order to check out the Restricted Section. So her disappointment was great when she found the area still roped off--she should have known it was too good to be true. Here she was in her sixth year and had not once gotten into that tempting space--she would really have to try to get on the good side of another teacher and see if she couldn't wrangle a permission note before she graduated.

In the meantime, Violet stood for a few moments looking with slight distaste at what must be the intended book. It's rather gaudy cover turned her off, as did the title--it appeared on the surface to be a standard romance. But then again--the Dark Wizard part was intriguing. Violet stepped forward after Aria moved out of the way (fortunately the other girl had not decided to do a long photo shoot there) and took a moment to open the volume and leaf through a few pages before looking for her envelope.

Hmm...disappointing. It was not as intriguing as she'd hoped it would be. Oh well, there were other books (quite a lot of them in the Hogwarts Library). Closing the cover, Violet sighed softly and looked for the envelopes so she could be getting on with the next clue.

The envelope appeared when the first flash went off waiting for (Aria to open). Once the second flash went another envelope showed to be read. What they said inside should send you on your way.

Lost and confused! Violet thought immediately of the statue of Boris the Bewildered, because that had been a landmark or clue in some other school activity she'd been involved in not too long ago. She wasn't too sure, though, about the student leader and the special door part. But she was sure she was right about the statue--and it was on the Fifth Floor, above the library. Feeling magnanimous, she looked around to see if Aria was still about, in case she still wanted to partner up (because Violet had realized it was silly not to go upstairs together at this point). "Aria? You want to walk upstairs together?" Violet refrained from being more specific, in case the other girl preferred to solve the clue herself.
