So she and Remy had been trying to debrief since the train ride but unfortunately because BOTH REMY and HER were OH SO POPULAR - they weren’t able too! So Lisa had sent her a paper origami bird (Maya had taught her how to make it- okay so maybe she had begged Maya to make her one and then she had used magic) at breakfast with a note inside asking to meet later today so they could finally debrief.

It wasn’t as if she wanted their other friends around... She liked having them around but it would be nice to just hang with Remy.

Lisa, after all, had a lot on her mind.

Remy wasn’t far behind Lisa at all. In fact, she has been trying to catch up with her for ages but didn’t want to run and risk looking stupid. Her walk nowadays was turning into more of a strut anyway. Right on time, she was present and she was ready for a girl to girl debrief. They hadn’t hung out much during the summer and when they had, there were OTHERS with them. Study group was cool enough but none of them were as good of friends as Lisa was to Remy.

“Got your note. I didn’t see anyone coming this way.” So they could gossip in peace. Remy grinned and sat crossed legged with her back against the wall. “What happened at the feast?” Straight to it - Remy noticed drama at the Slytherin table and she was jealous to be uninvolved, although she had her own little cute pink drama at her own table.

Lisa BEAMED when Remy entered the bathroom not too long after she. It would be nice just to spend some time with her one-on-one - without the others. Also Remy hadn’t been in the Slytherin Table drama so she was a neutral person in all of this. “Great. Cause I don’t know how to cast the Muffliato or whatever spell.” It seemed too complex but she had read about it and she had seen Holden cast it before.

“What didn’t happen at the feast…” sighed Lisa as she saw her reflection in the mirror briefly and turned to fix up her hair a little so it sat perfectly well. Turning back to Remy, she began her explanation. “I approached V cause I just had to know why she and Daniel sat together. I thought they hated each other… and then V thought Daniel and I were a thing. Alfie joined in. We talked about Jasper and Serena not being friends but they seem on the same terms now… and then Serena got upset and walked away! I don’t know why she’s upset. I can only think if it has to do with Serena liking Daniel or Jasper..”

“And now everyone thinks I’m DATING DANIEL YOON! Jasper CANT KNOW about this..”

She was panicking. “Remy, what do I do?”

She didn't knew how to cast Muffliato either, annoyingly, but it did trigger an idea. "I know. Maybe we should start practising it together. We could do it in here... since not many people come in here." Sounded like the perfect place to practise or brew potions.

OOOHHHOO, the possibilities.

Remy listened to Lisa with a big smile on her face, although she felt completely out of the loop since she knew none of these prior to now. "I saw Daniel and V looking at each other in class the other day and I thought it was weird." She commented, to add intel to the theory. Honestly, she was never surprised that those two didn't get on, judging by their particular personalities. "Wait... why does everyone think you're dating Daniel Yoon???!!" Had she missed something here? Why was Serena upset over that?

"...and why can't Jasper find out?" She questioned. Oh em GEE... Lisa was TOTALLY crushing on Jasper. Which was... interesting.

Lisa nodded at Remy’s practical yet brilliant thought. “I agree but away from the rest of the study group. I fear we will end up doing more explaining than practicing if we do it all together.” Serena, however, could join. Serena was brilliant. V could join too but... maybe after they mastered the spell so the three of them could help her. Not that V was incapable of mastering such a spell, Lisa did believe in her but she knew that she would get frustrated if V got frustrated with not getting the spell as quickly as she. It was just a weird hunch.

Trading in gossip was a good currency. Her eyebrows raised as Remy mentioned that Daniel and V SMILED AT each other. Lisa visibly shuddered and scrunched her nose. “Weird but also nice because now I can focus on lessons instead of listening to them fighting and then later dreading about picking a side..” Honestly she had felt quite torn between them over the past two years. “Uhh... well it’s because Daniel and I are friends. We hung out over the summer and it was fun. Def not a date. I asked V if she was jealous but she wasn’t..” Though Lisa didn’t entirely believe her...

“BECAUSE I have liked him for the past three years and its hopeless because he’s head over heels for Valentina,” she explained with a LOUD EYE ROLL. Not that she had anything against Valentina, Lisa was jealous of how beautiful she was. Valentina was nice. “I thought everything would be fine since Evan and Val went on a date...” Unfortunately that hadn’t lasted.

Maybe it was time to engage Stewie in meddling again?

Remy COMPLETELY agreed with learning this spell separately from the study group. Sometimes studying in such a large group ended up with many distractions, especially when the group was a bunch of third year girls. “Great… I’ll bring books next time so we can get the technique down perfectly.” These types of tricks would help Remy’s plan for a mischievous term massively. By the way, these were all ideas so far since she has yet to cause any trouble and was still a model student. Oops.

Remy shrugged. Personally, she was never fussed by V and Daniel’s dislike to each other, but she didn’t really have the same friendship with them that Lisa had. “Do you think they secretly love each other? I heard that sometimes people cover up their feelings with hatred.” It was actually a really smart thing, she thought, but she wore her heart on her sleeve too much for it.

OH.

Had it been obvious that Lisa liked Jasper in that way? Maybe… but Remy was always convinced they were just besties… like her and Atlas were. Oh, that made more sense actually.

“Isn’t Valentina a fifth year?” Remy raised her eyebrow. “Nah. He doesn’t stand a chance with her.” His interest in Valentina was a little more obvious to everyone than Lisa’s interest in him, however. “Want me to talk to him about you? I could try and find out if he likes you.” Since her and Jasper were pretty good friends, too.

She finally starting grinning like an idiot. “I didn’t know you liked Jasper. That’s so cute!!!” And she wouldn’t like to express relief that she didn’t mention HER crush, but it may have looked that way. Remy had her suspicions, you know. She wasn’t STUPID.
