| | |  Entrance Hall
 Whether you are brand new to Hogwarts or have been here a while, the Entrance Hall is always a breath-taking sight to see. Always memorable are the high ceilings, the colourful portraits on the walls, and the grand marble staircase. Various torches light the large room, keeping it nice and cozy at all times of the year. Arched windows atop the staircase, featuring the four Hogwarts Founders in all of their glory, bring in natural lighting as well.
This room branches off to the rest of the castle. If you are standing by the enormous oak doors and the House hourglasses, to the right are the doors that lead to the Great Hall. Next to them are doors that will reveal a broom cupboard and the basement corridor. Opposite is a door to a stairwell that will take you do the dungeons and another that will take you down a corridor where the staff room and other rooms can be found. Going up the marble staircase will take you to a corridor that connects to the moving staircase chamber. There is a lot to see here, so take your time exploring!

Aria wanted to laugh. Bitterwood looked so comical, much like a circus clown, as he tried to flee with his arms and legs binded. Darius had been on point with his spell. Then her spell hit him and she took pride in watching the man land on the floor completely unable to move, it would seem.
The Slytherin holstered her wand and hung back. There was no point getting in the way now that Bitterwood was detained; the professors and Headmaster would take care of the rest.
Good riddance to Botterwood. |

A small smile etched on Darius' face after seeing the less of a man be tied up from his spell, slowing him to a crawl before others took charge. It felt good taking someone down that he didn't take a liking to. "Nice one," He uttered each time as Aria, Mancini, Ash, and Violet sent one after the other.
Darius momentarily considered tucking his wand away but decided against, just in case. He remained rooted staring at the restrained Randall on the floor. The older adults could take it from here, right?

Javier was quite impressed with the defense skills of the students. He'd been ready to act but...well, it seemed like that was already taken care of. Smirking to himself, he walked over to Randall and waved his wand, hoisting the man up to a standing position - well, actually, he hovered about an inch off the ground, but he was upright none the less.
"I think the Law Enforcement will want to hear about his antics here," he said to the headmaster. "I would imagine the President of the Board should be contacted as well..."

Did he say that out loud? Ah, well.
It was perhaps not ideal practice to have his students firing off spells in places where large groups were gathered, but, given the exceptional circumstances, he had no complaints. He stepped forwards, pausing only to respond to Leanne. "Please do, Professor Mancini," and then to nod at Javi. "Absolutely. I'll contact the Board myself. And... I'll just be taking this." Though Bitterwood was well and truly out of action, Kamran searched him for his wand, and promptly took custody of it, not without casting the man a look of pure distaste.
Anyway.
"And I think five points each to those of you who assisted. I'll be glad to put this issue to bed once and for all." Rest assured, the man wouldn't be going anywhere but wherever the authorities took him.

Maybe it was mean, but Violet couldn't help but feel a great sense of satisfaction seeing that annoying man tripped up and trussed like a turkey (because one couldn't deny he richly deserved it). Maybe he'd know better next time than to hang around a school full of wizards.

She was sure that she’d heard him say the word ‘idiot’. Did he really? Good golly! Aria hoped she heard right. What she heard quite clearly was the five points to the helpers. Cool!
So that’s that? The students could get on with their lives now? The professors seemed to have things covered now. | |

Charlies grip on her wand loosened a bit as she watched the others in the room throw spells at the wretched man. She had placed herself infant of her younger brothers wanting to protect them as much as she could, but knew they had to learn to fight for themselves. Her eyes scanned the whole room as she tried to keep track of what exactly was going on around her. This escalated quickly, but she was glad to see that something was going to be done about it.

Ash knew what it was like to be held prisoner by a large group with no way to escape. She almost felt sorry for Bitterwood(and she winced when he landed on his face)- but they all knew that 'almost' meant nothing, didn't they? Despite her discomfort at causing suffering, she hoped he broke his nose.
...could she just say that Kazmi was the best? She hadn't expected to be rewarded for casting spells on adults, even if she was totally in the right. And he was so calm, cool, and collected! And he was so good at being in charge and being fair and handing over people named Bitterwood to the authorities! (Ash deeply admired the headmaster okay. He was one of the few good authority figures.)
She couldn't claim to be in a good mood(was she ever in a good mood?) but her spirits had much improved now that she had +5 points(as opposed to -200) and one less dumb board member to listen to. Ashley quietly sat on the floor and continued her sketch. | |
