professor, i was wondering something about the homework. Do you want it in a specific format?

Mrs. Weasley knocks on the door and enters the office. She is immediately taken by the smell of pine. It reminds her of the woods surrounding Hogwarts. Professor Coolio, she says, you did not include a due date for the Arithmancy Home Work. When is it due by, and will you accept late home work?

" I will accept homework no later than June13th. Tommrow is the last day. So just get it in by then and it be accounted as. Oh, I also do take day-late homework"


she then turns to anirihp4ever. "As long as I can understand it any format is fine."

"now if anyone needs me you can always find me in the Students bathrooms" She says as she smiles and makes her way to the bathrooms.

Professor Rae entered the office and took a deep breath. Mmmm... piney. She saw the professor sitting in her large red chair, humming merrily as she worked.

"Good day, Professor. I'm Professor Cassandra Rae, but please call me Cass. I teach Defense Against the Dark Arts. I've just popped in to welcome you to Hogwarts and to bring you a gift." She deposits a small round object on her desk. "Its a Dark Magic Detector. I hope you won't need it, but... after our last term... I thought I'd play it safe."

Professor Coolio see's Professor Rae walk in. "Oh! What a nice surprise." She says as she looks at the Dark Magic Detector. "I'll be sure if it detects any dark magic to inform you. After all you are the best defense against the dark arts professor!" She says in a smile.

"So how does it work? How do I know when its working or just broken."

Professor Rae says "wellif there are any evil creatures instesd of students in your class and it lights up then you'll know its working"
Professor Coolio says " don't let the door hit you on the way out."
Professor Rae gasps and runs out the door with a look of horror on his face.

You know you really shouldn't mock the teachers that way. You're going to get house points taken away from Slytherin, and I have some friends in Sltherin who wouldn't like to see that happen.

Professor Coolio looks at MLW. "Thank you MLW for my life story. Now I would never say such a thing. But when I need you to make remarks like that I'll be sure to call you. You can be my life story's narrator. I find this toe-tally funny so I wont bother with house points or anything, *coughlikescrubbingmytoiletscough*." Professor Coolio smiles. "Please be on your way now MLW."

"Oh yes." She says turnning to Mrs.Weasly. "I'd like to thank you for keeping peace in my office."

She smiles and then begins writing down notes for the next class.

Ceci walks in with a worried face.
Hello Professor. I'm awfully sorry to disturb you. You see, I would like to know if it would be possible to give at least three days for doing homework. I saw the assignment on Monday night, so I didn't have time to do it. If this is not possible, I will totally understand it.

Hi professor... I was jus wonderin when the next lesson was going to take place?

Professor Rae watched as Professor Coolio handled her students, then responded to the question.

"It will make a low grade whirring noise when it senses Dark Magic. I suppose, if you think it might be broken, you could bring it by my office and hold it up near some kappas I have in cages. They are strong enough to set one off."

Realizing the time, Professor Rae said her good byes and hurried off to her own office.

Professor Coolio looks up from her desk. "I'm sorry ceci, but the homework was extremely easy and since it was first lesson I wanted to take it in early so people would'nt get lazy with it. Next homework I'll give more time for." She says as she smiles and turns to an_adorable_gurl.

"I can't really set a date on the next class because I have been extremely busy. However, its going to be soon. Maybe sooner than one might think. Or maybe it might take a while. No worries though, I'm glad to see that you want to be up to date with the classes."

She then turns to see that Professor Rae is leaving. With a bit of a yell she says "Thanks!" and returns to her papers.

um proffesor I kinda missed the first class (my computer wasn't working)
Can I make up the first assignment or at least do some extra credit?

"I'm sorry, but second class is about to start. Maybe you'll get your homework in by that deadline."

She turns to go and start class soon.

Ceci walks in.

Hello Professor, today's class was great. However, I have a question regarding this lesson's homework. You said we should include today's work. If I answered today's questions during class, does that mean I still have to include them in my homework?

And another thing. I'm from Mexico, there, our name composition is First name, Father's last name, Mother's last name. I don't know if in order to get my numbers I should just use my father's last name or both my last names.

"Oh!" Professor Coolio says as she rushes in.

"I meant that when you submit your homework you must have the work shown. So I know you know how to do it. Like when you showed your work with those problems in class, I want you to do that exact same things, but with the homework problems."

Oh great! I understan why you are doing that, I've heard there is an Arithmancy calculator going around.

Professor Coolio looks over her paperwork.

"Ahhh, I knew this might happen. Although it is not common it can sometimes be wrong. However, you might need to put your FULL birthname. Such as maybe your middle name with your first and last. Or maybe just your first and last. There are many reason why this could be wrong. Maybe if you try it with your full name or something of that sort. Or maybe its just completely off. It can happen, rarely does this happen though."

well hello professor ...i think i speak on behalf of the entire hufflepuff house when i say that i thank u for giving us those house points, of course it wouldn't have happened if we hadn't done our homework, but anyway...thank u very much and now you've given us a second chance, a running for 1st place in the interhouse thing...9sorry i dont know what itz formally called. well again thank u...u have lifted my spirits...thank u for teaching and for everything..

GO HUFFLEPUFF!

Hi professor,
I don't know if I should ask this but uh is that all from slytherin that did the homework. I sent mine in and I dont know who else but its only 8!?!?! Hufflepuff has like a billion and anywho I just wanted to know if I was the only one that turned it in from Slytherin.

"Yes, I know it doesn't seem real but it is. I got about 17 hufflepuffs that turned in homework. I was quite shocked. I only recived one slytherin homework, and only one Gryffindor homework as well. Although I did recieve another slytherin homework but it was much too late so I couldn't count it. I'm sorry."

*Nadia knocks and enters the office*

"Hello, professor Coolio," Nadia said. "I realize we don't meet. I'm Nadia and I was interested in joining your class, but I missed the first two I see. This because I never knew they were starting, the classes, and the same I never knew there was homework. Professor, I must ask you - I would like you to make a notice board with the class dates and hours, and the homework, could you? I would be quite easier to know what's going on and this wouldn't happen agani if you did..."


ooc: there are notice board in each common room but I guess it would be quite tiring to post the same notice in every room, so making a notice board here would make the task easier, I'm guessing.
