Serena puts down her hot chocolate and steps up to the table to get a closer look at Professor Phoenix's plants. "Wow, can we do this with our own plants... or is this just specific for yours?" She adds, "Will it last long?... I could stare at this for hours!"

Greek_snitch stood up and aproched professor's table and had a better look on the stars. "Oh, professor, this is very interesting!!

*Shauna walked up to the professors table*Wow! That's incredible!

"All plants, yes, when they are in contact with direct moon light. If those big clouds shift back in front of the FULL moon, they will change back to what they were before."

"Wow, I can't wait to try this on my plants! This is a great lesson Professor!"

now since every person has differ colored plant will that make the plant any different or will they look like this she said pointing to the plants.she said as she looked at the stars

Nadia edged closed to look better. The plants were beautiful and their looks seemed to be directly related to the nightsky. And those star, were they really stars more than solely on its appearance? She decided to ask the professor just the thing...

*Puts chocolate down* Wow Professor! Thats amazing! We can do this with our plants, correct?

Alex leans in for a closer look.

"Wow professor that's amazing!"

She sits back down and writes something in her notes.

Kay walks over and takes a closer look at the plants. "Brilliant!"

"Professor, it's beautiful!" Aschere exclaimed. "Doesn't take the wonder away from it even if you've seen it before, does it?"
She held out her hand, and one of the star-shaped particles landed on it. "Professor," she said, looking at the star, "we collected the pollen last year in bottles, since it can be used for its properties. Are we collecting it again this year?"

"Spot on, Aschere--we will indeed."

Professor Phoenix waved her wand at the golden stars. They shrank back to golden mist and started making their way towards the Norandola plants.

“Okay everyone. Now I want you to gather a bit of this dust in these bottles. Just one bottle to each person, we don’t need much more. There’s no need for your dragonhide gloves either. The only thing this dust will do to you is make you sparkle a bit.”

She waved her wand and a crate with bottles like hers appeared.

“Don’t forget to place the cork on the bottle when you’re finished and put them back into the crate.”

*was the first in line to get the bottles*

Wow, this is would be great in some women's make-up! *she says as she gathers some dust and watches as it shimmers elegantly on her hands*

Alex takes a bottle out of the crate and collects some dust with it. She delicatly puts the cork back on and sets the bottle gently in the crate. She looks at her fingers covered with a shimmering dust and smiles as she wipes it off.

Serena waits her turn and then takes a bottle and then gathers enough dust to fill it. "This dust is really shiny.... I'm glad it's staying on my fingers... I can enjoy it longer!" She corks her bottle and returns it to the crate.

Becca get up and gets a bottle. She collects some dust; she gave a little cough because she breathed in a little bit. She placed the cork back into the bottle and placed it in the crate with the others. She went back to her log and sat down. She yawned and then rubbed her eyes.

*Vicki gets a bottle and fills it up as much as she can*

"Wow Professor! This is amazing!"

Kali collects a bottle from the crate and gets some of the dust into the bottle then corks it. After she puts the corked bottle back into the crate she looks at her hands which were sparkling.

Nadia took a bottle and went near one of the male plants. She than took the cork and started filling the bottle with the powder. She thought she must look like a little boy playing with a muggle toy of a flying superhero.... not that she ever tried it :ermsmile: Much of the sparkling powder reached her shirt wrist, forearm and even face - Nadia suspected there was more power on her skin rather than in her bottle. The sparkling powder made her remember of her youngh when she played with a wizarding product that was no more than a hovering brilliant powder that was supposed to be used in letter - it made Nadia ponder if that product wasn't made of this same powder.

"Professor," Nadia said. "Have you ever played with that powder that was supposed to be used on mail, or in the face when playing disguising, when little? It was a kind of make-over... do you think it was made of Norandola powder? And what uses does Norandola's powder has?"

Aschere picks up a bottle and holds it to the dust floating out of the bubble. Waving her free hand gently, she manages to direct some of the pollen towards the bottle's opening, although much of it lands on her hand. When it looks as full as she can get it, she corks it and places it in the crate with the other bottles.

"Professor, I was wondering... do parts or extracts of the Norandola Plant have properties similar to those of the living plant itself? Like a root, or the pollen dust... do they have character-discerning abilities too? Or certain responses to moonlight?"

Professor Phoenix frowned. "I'm not quite sure which powder you mean, Nadia. But the Norandola is a very rare magical plant, so I don't know if it would be used for such things. Norandola powder is sometimes used in potions, but usually only in very complicated ones--or ones that involve dark magic."

She stopped talking and bit her lip a little.

"Many uses have yet to be discovered," she finally said, but it looked as if she wanted to say something different.

Professor Phoenix shook herself and tried to concentrate on Aschere's question. Her mind wandered off too easily these days. The quarrels between the members of the staff weren't exactly what one could call soothing.

"No, and this is one of the more fascinating aspects. The Norandola plants, under the influence of moonlight, changes into a totally different plant--absolutely unrecognizable from the one it is normally."
