*Watches as the Tree freezes*

"Ok," Jill grinned. "I'lll also try, but if you know the spells you'd do better casting them."

Jerri thanks the professor as she tries to get up. "Wow I can't walk very well." She attempts to leave dragging her one useless leg. It is very slow going. "Professor I think might need some help."

Jerri manages to make it to the door her leg now swollen to the size of a Trolls arm. "I'm sorry professor I might be a little while. It is a ways to the hospital wing. Bye." Jerri leaves looking rather pale and like she is about to faint.

I still need a partner anyone want to help a first year?

*Cordelia hears ronslipyro and realizes that she needs a partner for herself too. She says,

"Er... I think she's on the other side of this tree. Can't really make out, though, can you through these knotted branches.... AAH!"
Aschere jumps as she feels a branch moving.

"Press the knot!!!"

Kahlana sees Tonks almost get whacked by a branch.

"Watch out, Tonks!", she cries, as she dives for the knot, and falls on it, stomach first.

"Ouch," she said, the wind knocked out of her. Lana gets up, breathing hard, but laughing.

"You okay, girl?"

Aschere holds out her hand to help Kahlana up. "Hey, that was fast! You alright yourself?! "

Professor Phoenix knelt down beside the girl before she left the greenhouse. She pulled out a pouch from her robes and took a leaf out of it, green with purple veins, nearly translucent.

"Hold still," she muttered, and fixed it on the leg so it would hold until she was in the hospital wing. "It will stop the swelling. Do you want somebody to accompany you?"

"And, students, we're still in the classroom, so you must be fighting an invisible tree..."

Seeing that the numbers are uneven... oh! Wait! I hadn't added myself - I'll be part of Team 1 then^^

Those students who know the Stunning Spell Stupefy—and only this one, because Immobilus will not do, as it is not strong enough—as well as its counter Enervate, listen closely.

"When the knot is pressed, the branches will freeze. You will then carefully awaken one branch at a time with Enervate, allow the first or second year in your team to untangle it, bandage it if necessary, and when this is done, you will have to stun the branch again, so it doesn't attack you while you continue your work. Is that clear?"

Professor Phoenix looked at the students seriously. "If anybody is caught messing about outside, you will land straight into detention. You may know, or may not, students are forbidden to come near the Whomping Willow unless accompanied by a teacher, because a boy, years and years back, nearly lost his eyesight, playing 'touch the trunk' with other students. We don't want that happening.

"So far, any questions?"

Kay raises her hand. "Professor? Are you going to assign us to different sections of the Whomping Willow to avoid confusion and prevent someone from accidentally being hit with a stunning spell?"

I'm a third year too

"Professor, I'm a first year but i can use Stupefy. Can I join the group?"
