"Arithmancy tells you Three things. If done right.

These things will all be given to you by your a number that you calculate by using your name."

She turns to the board and writes down 'Character Number, Heart number, and Social number'

Caitlin rushes in through the door, worried that she might be late. Everyone turns to look at her, she's a bit of a sight- hair all over the place and robes covered in mud where she fell over outside. "I'm sorry I'm late Professor, I got lost", "That's all right " said Professor Coolio " Find a desk and sit down". Caitlin struggles with her books quill and parchment and drops them on the floor, Mike kind heartedly helps her pick them up. She settles down in her seat and waits for the lesson to begin.

Zekke looked up from his seat in the middle of the row in the middle of the classroom. His quill fairly flew along the parchment, though his notes didn't seem to be completely written in English.

Arithmancy = Divination minus tea leaves and such.

He wondered if the French version of Arithmancy was the same thing. Deciding he might as well ask, he raised his hand and waited to be called upon. When he was called upon, he cleared his throat.

"Professeur," he cringed slightly, hoping his French accent wasn't too strong, "I'm a first year at this school, but a third year overall. I studied a little bit of Arithmancy at my old school, but I took the class in French. Do you think that will create any problems? I brought my old textbook if you would like to see it?" He offered and smiled, trying not to betray his nervousness.

Star quickly scribbled down everything that was needed. Then looked up at the professor and waited for further instructions.

Last but not least Your Social number represents the outer personality, the face an individual shows to the outside world."

Professor then watches while everyone takes notes.

"I hope I'm not confusing everyone so far. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask."

Becca raises her hand. "Professor isn't this going to be called the Pythagorean System? That is where you assign a number to every letter. The number only go through 1-9."

Caitlin realises that everyone else is writing something off the board which she struggles to see. Then she realises that she's not wearing her glasses. "Proffessor, could I please go and get my glasses? I left them in my dormitory, I was in a rush and -and I must have forgotten them. "Very well" (sighs)"But hurry up the lesson has already started! ", " Yes, thankyou Professor" says Caitlin, she gets up quickly and as she turns trips over her chair leg, recovers and runs out of the class room.
When she is gone Proff Coolio says " Quite brilliantly minded but ...." (shakes head)

Star continues to quickly write down the notes, and got everything so far. Then thought of a question, and raised her hand. "Excuse my professor, so is the character number pretty much your true persoanilty.. well the social number is the personality you show everyone else?"

He suddenly remembered when he had taken basic Geometry a year ago as a supplemental study.

This was going to be confusing, he could tell.

Zekke raised his hand and waited to be addressed. "But the heart is what shows the inner desires and secrets, non? So the true personality would have to take into account the Heart number as well."
