Professor Coolio walks into the class and begins to write on the Chalkboard while waiting for students to arrive.

"Welcome to Arithmancy. Today is going to be an introduction and you will not be learning but getting to know each other. I will be giving you homework at the end of class where you can earn 5 points for your house."

Well hello professor my name is miike and I am a first year

i walk in to the classroom and smile at the professor as i pass. i sit 3 rows back and wait for fother students to arrive

* walk in again and sits in the 2nd row waiting for ferther instructions *

Hello! I am glad to see people here. She smiles as they arrive.

Professor Coolio asks "Have any of you taken Arithmancy before? In your previous years?"

:Aniri takes a seat close to the front and waits for class to start:

this should be interesting, she thinks

Hello professor, no i haven't taken this class before, it's my 1st year!

* raises my hand * " "no prof. this is my first year and i have never take this class before" i say very nervesly

*kaz walks in with a wide smile*

'hello professor' she said happily, im a third year and to tell the truth i have not taken Arithmancy but i am looking forward to starting now'

*she sits down next to voldemortsucks*

*she starts to get her books out ready for the lesson*

"Oh! Then thats good." She says

"I was planning on starting from the basics. Although I'm not starting today I just wanted to know by the students if they were alright with going back to the basics.
By the looks of it I have many first years that would gladly go back to the basics. "

She waits for more students to arrive.

"Now you can ask any questions about arithmancy this term if you want. We still need a few more students to arrive"

Jerri Bounces in and sits down "Good morning professor I hope you are doing well. I am looking forward to your class it sound like loads of fun. I am also a first year but I catch on quick." Waits for class to start by humming to herself.

*Aby walks into the classroom with her new robes with the ravenclaw shield*

Good morning Professor Coolio*she says when she walk by his desk, then she walks to the back of the classroom and sits alone*

*Raises her hand* I forgot to tell you its my first year.

"Well then." She says with a smile. "Everyone in favor of going to the basics say Aye."

Aye!!.*Says Aby from the back*

'Aye' Kaz giggled while saying it

Replies to the professor, 'Aye'.

Jerri sits up straight ready to learn and proudly states "Aye professor."

Kim walks into the classroom and takes a seat in the second row.

"Aye Professor."

Kay walks into the classroom and sits next to Aniri. She takes out her parchment and quill from her bag and places them on top of the desk. Kay takes a minute to copy down the information that was written on the chalkboard.

Kay raises her hand to answer Professor Coolio's question. "No, Professor Coolio. I am a third year, but this will be my first time taking Arithmancy. I have heard that it is an interesting subject."

"Alright! I'm glad to hear that."

Professor Coolio turns to the chalkboard to write down notes.

"Arithmancy is the study of future by using numbers. It is similar to Divination but without the tea leaves and visions." She then turns toward the students to make sure they are taking notes.

"Aye!" Kay says enthusiastically.

Jerri quickly starts taking notes writing everything down precisely.
