Kay entered the chamber and looks around in amazement. "It's so much better in person than reading about it in books!"

Delighted, Zekke bent down to scoop up some bones and scales and a stretch of epidermis and put them into a special charmed jar while no one else was looking.

He followed the professor eagerly, scanning the walls and floors and ceiling...

*walks down the tunnel into the Chamber of Secrets* Wow! This is amazing, I've read about it before but seeing it in the flesh is just incredible! *Picks up a small tooth from the floor and puts it in her pocket*

Zekke walked with an arm cradling an open notebook as he paused to sketch various items.

He grinned and rapidly sketched the students and the professor all standing in the Chamber itself.

His light shone on something white at the entrance and he saw a fang with the faintest traces of blood on it. He carefully picked it up and deposited it in his jar also. There was a swatch of skin wound along the pillars and he walked over and collected some.

*walks deeper into the Chamber. stares at all the different textures and pictures, and carvings on the walls*

He shrunk another large swatch of skin that had been shed and carefully folded it. He was amazed at its pliability, considering it was so... old. But he figured since this was underground and all, perhaps things were better preserved. He stuck it into his jar and stuck the jar into his robe.

He walked around and found a somewhat comfortable place to sit on the floor and started sketching the various sculptures and the enormous statue of Salazar Slytherin.

Though he didn't agree with all of Slytherin's ideals, particularly the one about Muggles, he still respected his contributions to the wizarding society, so he sketched a picture of the statue, too.

He suddenly wondered if anyone had ever been in the hiding place of the basilisk.

"Professor? Since the basilisk was killed... has anyone dared to venture to its hiding place?" He pointed his wand that he had relit in the direction of the enormous statue.

*walks around the Chamber running her hand along the wall* Professor is it true the Chamber holds a curse? Or is that just a myth?

Peers though the opening to the immense Chamber of Secrets. It was awsome designed and caved. The statue of Salazar Slytherin was indeed impressive and the snakes at the sides gave it a Imperious look, even dark and frightening. The damp in the chamber only helped this idea.

She walked along the students, almost feeling the Basilisk still breathing in it. There were dark spaces in the marble floor, which looked like dried blood. There were scratches in the stone, of something pointed. The room was pratically intact, nothing like she imagined. After a few minutes of walking around, Nadia got to be just in front of the gint face of Slytherin looking down on her. It was impressive. This guy, a person so grand and imperfect both. Practically the best example of a human being, with passions - even when that passion was hate. She always went back to the history of Gryffindor and Slytherin rivality, at the given chance, feeling curious about how exactly it happened...

She actually got hypnotized by the figure before her: it looed like one of those statues of grand men. And it was still there, still, pronouncing its precence to all who dared enter... "A little egocentric to have this thing in his own room." Nadia commented to herself.

She went even closer, to the statue mouth. "I wonder where did he sleep if that was the case... Mmh, professor? I heard that Harry Potter fighted with the Basilisk in here, and in that battle, the Basilisk came from here -" she approached "the statue's mouth. Do you think the entrance to his chambers is inside here? Do you think there's any chance of us exploring inside it?"

*Sarah followed along, and for once, she did it quietly. She liked exploring, and she enjoyed reading about the Chamber, but this was, well, quite scary. The chamber itself wouldn't have bothered her at all, but the fact that a humongous snake oncelived inside these very chambers... She shuddered involuntairily, and ran up closer to Kay, who seemed to be enjoying this much more than she was...*

"Zadkhiel good question.
Maybe its hiding place is full of its dead skin. I wounder..."
She started to think while observing the place and the huge stature of Salazar Slytherin.
"If only I had a whatcha macall it... a photo projector. This is like a once in a lifetime visit! Least I can say ive been here now."

*hears what is being discussed, lols* " Zekke, we might be asking the same question actually - I haven't heard you before. I wonder about where Salazar slept rather than the snake... Nice drawing, by the way. Care if I join you?"

Nadia windrawed some parchement and a pencil she had at hand and sat a meters from Zadkhiel. She had some other drawings of the castle (ooc: honestly, I do of my real school ), this would be a great addition to her collection. How hadn't she thought of it before? She shakes her head, this Zekke... if he countinues like this he might be taking her place as the Slytherin know-it-all

Before starting drawing, Nadia heard Dobby and laughed out loud. "You are right there, girl! Where's a Colin Creevey when you need him!" She laughed again and starting doing a quick scratch of the complete chamber.

Zekke laughed and continued drawing, moving his wand to different areas to highlight details in the sculptures and in the walls.

Mrs. Weasley carefully walks into the chamber. She rubs her shoes against the stone floor to remove any bones from them. There is a damp chill in the air and the place smells musty, reminding her this is probably the first time anyone has been in the chamber in years. Seeing the giant snake columns she says, fantastic! Harry's description of the place did not do it justice. She takes photos of the room with her camera as she walks around. She too is in awe of the statue of Salazar Sytherin. It is ashame the basilisk destroyed so much of it. She continues to take pictures of the chamber as she walks over to where Nadia and Zadkhiel are sitting.

"You'll do a fantastic job of drawing. I wish I was as talented. I believe you have capture both the exact elements of the statue and also Slytherin's strong pesonality. He was indeed a remarkable wizard, she says. Considering how large the chamber is, I wonder if Slytherin could have had some private quarters off from the main room." Mrs. Weasley decides to go explore some more of the chamber on her own. "I sure hope that basilisk didn't have any children," she thinks to herself.

Aschere looks around the chamber in silence. It didn't feel appropriate that she talk at all - the larger-than-life form of Salazar Slytherin in stone chilled her to silence. For what must have been the first time, Aschere began to wonder what the man must have been like. A great wizard, no doubt, proud and lofty... a line from a poem came floating into her head,
"..and I choose never to stoop..."

Woah!

*Geraldine walks next to Aschere with her mouth wide open*

Serena didn't think the field trip to the chamber of secrets could get any better then getting there, because she absolutely loved the slide and wished she could do that again, but when she entered the chamber with the statues of the snakes and Slytherin himself.. and the reflection on the water below.. she stood speechless. "Wow, this is really quite beautiful...despite what it was built for!" She quietly sat down and took out her drawing pad to capture the moment forever.

Andrew following closely behind Aschere and Geraldine as they entered the main chamber. He sighed. How could a great wizard like Slytherin give away to such a wicked heir like Tom Marvolo Riddle? Andrew withdraw from the main group of students and if someone looked at him they might have thought him in awe of the chamber but Andrew was deep in thought. All he could think of was how this chamber set off and breed one of the foulest Dark Lords in wizard history. He thought of how Riddle used the Slytherin belief of only pure blood to fuel his machine of destruction just a few years ago and how Andrew lost his father as a result.

Andrew didn't like this place. He despised it. He felt a flood of angry welling inside him. His grip on his wand tighten, but Andrew restrained himself. Finally after several minutes he simple sat down where he once stood. He just sat suddenly realizing that the hate he felt was just like the hate that fueled Riddle. No amount of revenge or destruction would give life back to his father nor change his life except for the worse. Andrew shook his head...what was the saying...ah life on life's terms. Andrew stood and rejoined Aschere and Geraline.


Gryffindor

* As Shauna walked into the main chamber, she was in awe.* This place is so, HUGE! * She ran her fingers up and down the little snake carvings and designes. She took out her notebook and traced some of them* Wow...

"wow" she muttered "Do you think any of the elves are alive today?" she asked looking around at the chamber all the statues of Snakes and Salazar Slytherin she walked over to a statue and traced the outline of it it was cold but felt as if it was real and would spring to life at any minute. She wondered away the bottoms of her robes soked through with water. She walked over to the Hugh statue of Salazar Slytherin but didnt cross the water to right to the face she stood there and her eyes searched it up and down looking at the eyes which were glistening with the water, She pulled out her sketch book and drew a beautiful and accurate sketch of the face bent down and looked through the water at her refection in the water 'Harry Potter could have stood here' she thought her face looking at a reflection in the water which wasnt her own.

Didymus walked around the chamber,she examined the details on the walls,the statues of snakes and finally the largest statue,of Salazar Slytherin.
"This place seems far too great to have once held the horror that is a Basilisk," she mused to herself as she continued to examine the chamber.

Professor Laney wondered about the great Chamber herself, taking in the magnificence of it all. She was floating by Didymus when she heard her comment, and replied, "Well greatness was a sure quality of Salazar, and an over-sized quarters that defines sheer greatness sounds exactly like him to me. Salazar was also known for his elaborate clothing. Salazar wanted only the best, thus leading to his views on Muggle-born withces and wizards." Professor Lainey swooshed here and there amongst the students then finallly calling out to them, "Class? Gather round! Gather round! Do any of you have any more questions?"

Raven veered towards the Professor and rasied her hand. She stood tall and was very amazed with the magnifico room.

"How long did it take him to build this? Is this underground? How deep underground is this," she questioned looking around the room,

*Cordelia gathered around Professor Lainey with her classmates. She raised her hand.

"Professor, was the chamber built after or before Slytherin's depature? It must have taken years and years to finish this."

"Umm how did you get the headmaster to let us all down here for class?"
*Claire couldn't really think of anything good, as she was to busy staring at the walls and the ceiling.*

Professor Lainey laughed as she was smothered in questions, then quickly started answering the best she could. "Well Raven, to my understanding no one's sure how long it took to build the Chamber of Secrets. But, a few have said that Chamber kept growing..magically after the departure of Salazar. And yes, this is underground..far underground. Under the lake to be exact. " Then she turned to Cordelia, "Like I said, I believe something this great was probably constructed many years after he left..House Elves may of had their share in it as well." Professor Lainey laughed a bit at Claire's question, "Well, I went and asked him if I could bring you all down to explore it bit, and he agreed that the Chamber was indeed worth exploring..especially for a History Class."
